Pink House

Edel and her mother were pleasant hosts and very responsive. The house is old-fashioned and the view is extraordinary! Honestly, sitting in the living room enjoying the view was probably the best part of my stay in Ireland. Thank you for a wonderful place to rest and relax on our down time!

Rowan Beg Retreat

Great location with fantastic views. Spring birdsong in the morning including a cuckoo was lovely to wake to. We also had a close-up visit from a hare on one morning. The nearby beaches are a must visit, with the mountain backdrop adding to the scene. The accommodation was very comfortable and the underfloor heating in the bathroom made all the difference.

Gleann Cottage, Dogs Bay Beach, Roundstone. On WAW

We loved our stay here. Be sure it is what you want - it is very, very rural, very quiet and absolutely gorgeous surroundings. You can walk (on the road) to Dog’s bay which is extraordinary, lovely walk up the hill behind, and drivable easily to Roundstone. There was good Wi-Fi, lots of hot water and a well stocked kitchen. The gas hob didn’t work but Yvonne had provided and electric hob. Wonderful place to explore Connemara.

Twelve Bens View

Catherine went all out to make sure I had a great stay, everything from recommending sights, offering a cup of tea after a long day's walk, to lighting a fire in the guest living room so I could relax by the fire. A great stay.

Leap Year Cottage by Lake Beaghcauneen

DianaRating, 5 stars10 months ago
The accommodation was exactly as described and in a beautiful location. It felt very remote but is only 15 mins from the coast and supermarkets in Clifden. The two extra rooms in outbuildings worked well for us as 5 adults, and there was plenty of room around the kitchen table for meals and games. The sitting room in the cottage is very cosy and only had enough room for 4 people to sit comfortably which wouldn't be ideal if you were a group of 8. That said, there are other sofas elsewhere - in the kitchen and studio. Overall, a unique property in a wonderful location which I would definitely recommend.

A rocky shoreline extends along the edge of clear blue water. Gentle waves lap against the weathered rocks, while patches of green vegetation can be seen in the distance. The horizon blends sea and sky under bright daylight, creating a serene coastal view.
