Very friendly hostess, always available. The place is as pictured, very quiet. Minimarket, pharmacy, gas station and bakery in the immediate vicinity. (within walking distance) Rental car a must. It would be desirable to have information on waste disposal and possibly a few tips on sights and good restaurants in the area. All in all, a very nice hostess and a great place to stay. For vacationers who like to have a quiet atmosphere. Highly recommended.

We loved the fantastic house! Especially the garden is beautiful with its fruit trees, where the children enjoyed themselves for hours picking and eating mandarins and oranges. The pool is wonderfully large. We didn't know so well in advance if we felt it necessary to heat the pool, so in excellent consultation with Giorgos decided to feel first upon arrival. We were there in the middle of to the end of October and for the kids it was really too cold unheated. Fortunately, Giorgos responded immediately and the heating was turned on the same day! Great! After that, every day enjoyed the pool for hours! The surroundings were fantastic. Wonderfully quiet, but within walking distance of bakery and drugstore, within 20 minutes in downtown Heraklion and in 10 minutes on the beach. The only small downside was the amount of kitchenware. Because we traveled with small children, we regularly cooked ourselves at home and there were few pans, knives, cutting boards, etc. Giorgos thanks!!

Unfortunately, we only stayed with Manos for a week and had a wonderful time. Manos is friendly, helpful, always available and also up for a chat. He gives tips on where the nearest gas station, the nearest bakery is and what to visit in the area. The apartment is new and very nicely decorated. The location is outside in a small village, but the distances by car to Iraklio can be driven in a short time. We felt very comfortable this week. However, there are mosquitoes in Crete, so you should be prepared for that.

The apartment is equipped as described. Soft bed, terrace and pool facing west. View of the olive groves and a valley. We were lucky and had the pool completely to ourselves on almost every day. If the other apartment is occupied (with 7 people on two days with us), you share the terrace and pool. The water quality of the pool is excellent. It is cleaned regularly. The host family is always available, yet you have great privacy. They are very welcoming and surprised us several times with small touches: tomatoes from their own garden, Greek sweets and treats, ouzo, etc. The property is easily accessible by a small car through the narrow streets of the village with some driving skills and is only about 15 minutes' drive from Heraklion. There is almost no aircraft noise. Within a few km there are very delicious taverns. Thanks again for having us as your guests.
