Monthly Rentals in Englishmans Bay

Absolutely loved our stay. This is a beautiful house that opens to the outdoors. We left the doors wide open for 2 weeks. Bugs found their way in but were never annoying. No mosquitos! Englishman's Bay and Castara provided all the beach amenities we wanted. We spent most days on Castara beach. Restaurants, groceries, fresh fish, beach chairs, umbrellas, bar and restrooms were all available. Highly recommend going left when you step on to Castara beach. Baba will set you up with loungers, umbrellas, excursions and eating suggestions. He is right near the Dirt Oven with fresh bread on Thursdays and Saturdays. He also arranged for a boat and took us to remote snorkel areas. If you love open air living, stunning views and relaxing days at the beach, this house is for you.

My only regret is not booking longer in this lovely cottage. We stayed as a group of 4 and it was very comfortable. I could easily see someone spending a month or so here very happily. The location is great, beautiful surroundings, very quiet and just. a short walk to the village (which is much nosier having now stayed nearer the beach). The little dog that 'guards' the houses is a really sweet and we enjoyed her quiet company for coffee in the mornings. Squirrels, birds and bats we're all spotted but thankfully mosquitos were limited outside and no problem inside the house at all. it's definitely where I would stay when we come back to Tobago again.

We just spent the most amazing eight days at Tanager Ridge. Words can't truly capture how magical this place is. Spacious, secluded and equip with every amenity imaginable. The design and decor lends itself to an idyllic Caribbean getaway feel. If you enjoy being surrounded by nature and awe-inspiring views, this is the place for you. N.B. the pool is addictive lol. Both Sheba and Jango were so lovely. Sheba was always a message away and Jango is a gem - very humble and knowledgeable about the area. We were grateful for his presence on the compound, especially at nights...and the fruits and limes he provided from the garden. Thank you Jamie & Sarah for being courteous and responsive hosts. we were lucky enough to have an extended stay at Glen Eagles throughout January into early February, you cannot find a nicer place, with more welcoming and wonderful people. Samantha and Marise run a beautiful accommodation, are lovely people, and I highly recommend anyone take a trip to Tobago and stay with them! Look forward to returning next year.
