Excellent logement ! Notre hôte a été absolument génial et je recommande 100% ! Petit-déjeuné copieux, un régal ! Avec superbe vue depuis le balcon. Légèrement difficile d'accès et peu connu par les tuk-tuk, mais l'hôte propose un taxi, ce qui rend le tout plus agréable ! à 10min à pied du pont Nine Arche, avec possibilité de traverser la forêt en 35min pour aller vers les 1er restaurants. Je remercie infiniment pour ce séjour ☀️

Wir blieben drei Nächte und waren voll und ganz zufrieden. Man hat eine sehr gute Aussicht von der Terrasse direkt vor dem Zimmer. Es wurde sich steht’s gut um uns gekümmert und man kann Wasser und/oder Essen bekommen. Die Unterkunft liegt direkt am Fuße des Ella Rock und bietet gute Möglichkeit dort hin eine Wanderung zu unternehmen. Außerdem ist man schnell auf den Schienen, welche als Fußweg ins Zentrum führen. Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen!

Wunderschöne Unterkunft in toller Lage mit den hilfsbereitesten und herzlichsten Hosts! Die Unterkunft ist liebevoll gestaltet und man hat einen schönen Blick ins Grüne. Die Hosts haben uns wertvolle Tipps für Unternehmungen in der Umgebung gegegeben. Die Hosts sind hervorragende Köche konnten in der Unterkunft ein sehr sehr leckeres Frühstück und Abendessen zu uns nehmen. Dieser Aufenthalt war ein absolutes Highlight auf unserer Sri Lanka Reise und wir können die Unterkunft nur wärmstens empfehlen.

Lalantha was very responsive throughout the experience and gave information for our itinerary to ensure we made the most of our time in Ella. He was quick to communicate and was accommodating. Lalantha offered to make us dinner and breakfast for a reasonable price and it was very delicious authentic srilankan food. I would recommend to do the same. The place was very clean and in a quiet, peaceful and pretty part of Ella. There are other hotels very close to the property where we went to get some drinks and nibbles. It was perfect for 10 of us with nice outside dining areas and decent sized rooms for sharing. I would recommend having a driver to take you into Ella town and the other sightseeing spots. We were there for one night only and slept comfortably. It does get quite cold in the nightime because of the area so the only negative is I wish some thicker duvets were provided in some of the rooms. Apart from that it was a very smooth experience and very enjoyable.

Arawe Retreat is simply fantastic. From the beautifully appointed accommodation, to the attentive yet relaxed staff, to the tastiest food in Ella. We really had the best time here. Just a short Tuk Tuk from the busy centre of Ella, Arawe retreat provided an oasis of nature focused calm which was hard to leave. Ishanka and his team really have got things just right by creating the retreat around the existing nature and enhancing it. The wildlife noise at night is really something to behold and helps you drift off into relaxed tropical dreams. Huge thanks to Ishanka, Chaggar, Suren and Dashan. You really made this visit memorable and also a special thanks to Banda and Manike. We hope to get the chance to visit again x

Anil ist sehr nett und hat uns jeden Tag Tipps für unsere Unternehmungen gegeben. Er hat uns für die Abreise ein Taxi organisiert und immer geholfen. Wir konnten unsere Rucksäcke bei ihm lagern, bis zur Abreise. Es ist alles sehr unkompliziert und Anil versucht den Aufenthalt so schön wie möglich zu machen. Die Unterkunft liegt zwar im Berg, allerdings ist die Stadt zu Fuß in 10-15 Minuten erreichbar. Die Unterkunft war sauber und es gab Mückennetze. Da wir eine Nacht früher angereist sind, haben wir in der unteren Hütte übernachtet, die sehr rustikal ist. Die restlichen Nächte haben wir in dem gebuchten Zimmer verbracht. Das Bad ist an der ein oder anderen Stelle renovierungsbedürftig, aber trotzdem sauber. Das Frühstück war gut und bestand aus salzig und süß. Der einzig kleine Nachteil war, dass es keine Klimaanlage gab und durch die hohe Feuchtigkeit nichts wirklich trocknen konnte. Wir würden jederzeit wieder zu Anil fahren.
