Vacation rentals with a patio in Elkins

This was a great place to stay, especially if you are exploring the Blackwater State Park area. Couldn’t be more convenient! We were so pleasantly surprised by the shops and restaurants in the area. The food and the service from the locals cultivated a super friendly environment. The owner was very responsive over messaging the few times we reached out. Couple cons: I will say the listing was a little overpriced for what you get, though the inflated price could have been because of the holiday weekend. The upstairs bedroom would get pretty warm and there were instructions that you could not adjust the thermostat. I can understand the owner not wanting us to mess with the room temperature, the weather dropped from 51 to 11 degrees in a matter of 24 hours while we were there! But if you are a hot sleeper and being able to adjust the thermostat is important to you, it may be something worth considering! Overall I would recommend this listing!

Staying here was an absolutely peaceful and relaxing experience. From the minute we arrived we felt more than at home, it was perfectly clean and felt very cozy. The extra touches of complimentary cinnamon swirl bread, popcorn and much more made for a very relaxing experience. It was great to spend some much needed time away hiking in some of the local parks. The location of this apartment is very attractive. It's walkable to the main strip in Davis and the apartment is along the river. There is adequate outside seating which allows you to enjoy the view. The apartment is comfortable overall. The bed is cozy. This is a good place to stay if you don't plan on being in the apartment but rather outdoors, which most of us coming to Davis choose to do. I would highly recommend as it has everything you need and is overall quite nice. They allow pups which is great and the wifi works well (I was able to work remotely no problem). There are a few other apartments in the building, but everyone is respectful and there is no noise. There is also a nice river walk you can do with the pups. Very peaceful.

The Annex is comfortable and quiet. It's very funky but if you're coming to Thomas that's probably what you're looking for. There are restaurants within walking distance and also just a few miles away in Davis but this place also has a full kitchen. I'd happily return. A couple of tips for future guests... - Take a screen shot of the Airbnb directions because you might not have cell reception in downtown Davis. (WiFi was consistently good everywhere I went, including in the Annex.) - Don't trust AccuWeather's forecast for the area. Real temperature was 15-20 degrees lower than the prediction, which was somewhat problematic for this motorcyclist. Maybe AccuWeather confuses Davis, WV, with Davis, CA. Other weather sites might be more accurate.

From the moment we walked into the house, we were in love. The house is set in a private, wooded cul-de-sac and easy to find with the directions provided. The inside is open and spacious but still somehow cozy. The kitchen had everything we needed and all of the best quality. The town of Davis is a short drive away with some delicious little places to check out for meals. We also stopped by Blackwater Falls State Park, just a few minutes past the downtown area. Would definitely recommend this gem if you are planning a stay in the area!

The home has lots of character and charming details. We enjoyed our time and loved cooking together. The living space is open, inviting, and relaxing. It was a great family atmosphere. The tree swing and fire pit were fun. The shower being on the first floor separate from the bedrooms upstairs was unexpected but didn't cause any problems for our group. Also, whoever sleeps in the tree house room should know they'll need to descend a ladder to use the bathroom. This house is super great and the mountains surrounding are breathtaking. We would definately stay again.

We had a small pest situation but the hosts were super responsive and got it taken care of right away. We loved how cozy the house made us feel and it had everything we needed

Terri’s Airbnb was absolutely gorgeous. The detail and thought they put into this Airbnb was impeccable. You got to enjoy the feel of a private log cabin with all of the updates! The kitchen has everything you needed, and was nice and open to the living room. There were 3 bedrooms- all with good sized beds! It rained the first day, but the second day we cooked out on the grill and had a great time staying in! We also did a little exploring to the observatory. We’d 100% come back and spend a longer weekend walking the trails and taking a train ride! Overall 10/10 stay! :)

Before arriving Josh gave clear instructions on entering and when we got there the house was just perfect. Nice bathroom on the first floor and the living room is nice that goes opens up to the nice deck. The beds are very comfortable and clean. This place is very close to Canaan valley resort and black water falls park. We were there for a wedding in the area. But we could have been able to do so much because it’s all very close. Thank you Josh for making this a very nice experience.

David was a wonderful host with a cozy cabin. David was not only responsive, but he was also prophylactic in the way of having a few lists at the cabin with various easy to understand instructions, local eateries, and activities. The cabin itself had nearly anything you could think of and more in terms of amenities. We would definitely have David host us again in the future.

This will always be my first place to try when going to Buckhannon. This was the second time staying and it was as nice as we remembered. Great place.

This would be my second time staying at Rachel’s Airbnb in Elkins, WV and it was perfect! We had my daughter’s wedding for this stay and I rented both of her units in the same building to accommodate family. It was the perfect situation for us. The units are cute, colorful, nicely decorated, well equipped, clean, peaceful, convenient location, free parking, WiFi, some streaming services for TV, laundry in unit, spacious and quiet. Rachel is easy to work with and friendly. We will most likely stay again next time we are in West Virginia visiting family. Thank you Rachel! 😊

This place was perfect for a quick getaway with my boyfriend. Self Check-In was very convenient and the place looked just like the pictures. It was very clean and nicer than a hotel, but not too much house for just the 2 of us. Everything from the bathroom, to the kitchen, to the bedroom was organized and home-y. Things like towels, sheets, blankets, hand soap, and utensils/dishes were provided and clean as well. The only thing I would warn about is the amount of lady bugs I saw inside the house. There is a large window in the bedroom with a beautiful view and a nice black-out shade, but I fear it seems to be an entrance for lady bugs. However, I did not see any other bugs in the home during my 4 night stay and would not call this place dirty at all. I would recommended this place to anyone looking for somewhere to stay, close enough to visit state parks like Blackwater Falls or the small local towns nearby which had restaurants, a grocery store, and pubs!

The condo was very easy to find. Check in process was simple. The unit felt more private because it was on the end and we saw deer out of our windows in the morning. It was close to the town of Davis and to many lovely hikes. The beds were comfortable and there were plenty of extra pillows, blankets, and towels. Shower was hot with good water pressure. Everything was clean and comfortable. I would stay again if I was in the area.

Wonderful time visiting the Davis area and staying in this condo. Everything was provided to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. Our host was easy to communicate with and available when needed. Hope to visit again soon.

Great base for hiking. The apartment set up was perfect for two couples. We really appreciated all the supplies, such as spices and bathroom accessories.
