We really loved our stay in this beautiful house with the natural surroundings. It was really nice to have lots of windows and doors to enjoy the natural lighting and the breeze through the trees. The kitchen had everything we needed. The bathrooms were nicely done and had good counter space and storage for our stay. I loved having the closet and dresser in the primary bedroom, which allowed me to put away my clothes. The furniture and lighting was tasteful and added to our stay. The fireplace and sauna were nice accessories. The EV charger was wonderful for us to have and really made our stay much more convenient. We would 1000% stay here again!

This was our group’s first time in a ski in/out house and it did not disappoint. The convenience of being able to walk out back to ski was priceless. We had a great time and will be back!

Great home and location on the mountain. Just a short walk to the mid mountain chairlift. Ski in ski out is so convenient. Great view of sunsets from the large windows in the back of the home. Super cozy on the sectional sofa in front of the wood stove.

Beautiful, large, and inviting home with plenty of space to spread out. We enjoyed how close it was to hiking in Dolly Sods and enjoyed our time at the cabin as well - which had a games room and a hot tub. Thank you for the fantastic stay!

Our stay at Black Diamond was absolutely fantastic! From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the spacious, welcoming atmosphere and the great location. The home had everything we needed for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. One of the highlights was the hot tub -such a relaxing amenity after a day of adventures! We also loved the thoughtful welcoming gifts and especially enjoyed making s’mores with the kits provided by the host. It was the perfect way to spend quality family time together. The property was spotless, well-organized, and beautifully maintained. We truly appreciated the attention to detail. Additionally, Brian was an excellent host —communication was prompt, clear, and friendly throughout our stay. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and would highly recommend Black Diamond to anyone looking for a cozy, well-equipped retreat. We’d love to return in the future next year when have to come back our sister’s graduation from Davis and Elkins.

Great place to stay, super close to the slopes! Walkable to Timberline which is very convenient on a busy day! Very Comfortable space with a great fireplace!

my family and I stayed at Gina's for the weekend skiing at Snowshoe Mountain. Gina's place is absolutely beautiful. It was beautifully decorated and very accommodating to our needs. It was also only 30 mins away from Snowshoe. I definitely recommend this home for skiing at Snowshoe or just a relaxing weekend get away.

We absolutely loved our stay at Oakwood Nature Retreat! The house has incredible character, and learning about its 80s origins and family history was fascinating. Our host was exceptional, providing excellent recommendations for local, family-friendly activities and hikes. The home is beautifully designed, remarkably well-stocked, and has a wonderfully peaceful feel. As a family from the suburbs near the Nation's Capital, we especially appreciated the unique craftsmanship – a welcome change from mass-built housing. It was perfect for our group (family of 5, grandparent, and dog!). We had so much fun exploring the local hikes, restaurants, and coffee shops, and our biking adventure was a highlight. Highly recommended for a memorable getaway!

Bryan's house was such a gem of a find. We went with four adults, three children and a dog and the house was *perfect*. I actually found that the photos didn't do justice to the view: both the lake and the mountain all in one view. We spent the days hiking Blackwater Falls and coming back to fish the lake (caught multiple largemouth bass and bluegill). The kids had a ball, and the adults loved warming up each night on the lower level with the gas fireplace. Truly a 10 out of 10 experience.

This rental was absolutely great! The host was super sweet and extremely flexible with checking in and out, which meet our needs! Lots to do for our kids, beautiful scenery, and very well kept. Highly recommend and would like to come back again!

Overall had a great stay, everything was as stated in the listing. Host is super responsive and very helpful. The location is perfect: 10 minutes from Town of Davis or 16 minutes to Thomas; 15 minutes from Black River State Park; 10 minutes to Canaan Valley State Park or Monoheglan National Forest Trails. View from the home was beautiful, very peaceful and quiet community. This was a Spring trip, but I would imagine Summer, Fall or Winter would be good times to visit as well with a lot of activities to do.

Wonderful home for our large group and kids had own area downstairs. Hot tub was perfect way to end day after skiing. Snow Shoe Resort short drive away. Would rent again if we can back to Snow Shoe.

Cozy cozy cozy! First time at The Farm, and we all loved it! Our family of 8 was there for the JMU spring game. It’s about an 18-minute drive from the campus, on scenic country roads. The house has SO much personality and is clearly a labor of love for the hosts! Comfortable beds, well-stocked kitchen and bathrooms, lots of blankets, quality towels - the hosts really thought of everything. Even small “white noise” makers in each bedroom! We played Pac-Man in the game room and had a great time at night the hanging around the fire pit. And there were COWS! Lovely setting - I can only imagine what it’s like in the summertime. We can’t wait to come back and stay at the farmhouse again. Ooh! Also! We were greeted with the most-yummy locally-made cinnamon buns, and the gracious hosts allowed us an hour extra time on the checkout! Much appreciated! And, finally, I have to mention the giant GUMBALL MACHINE! Haha! Anyway - we loved it all. Thanks Wesley & Emily! :):)

We stayed at David's wonderful home for a few days around the New Year's. The kitchen was well appointed, the beds comfortable and the gas fireplace was really comforting when it was cold and stormy outside. wonderful location close to the national wildlife refuge, State Parks and the great little towns of Davis and Thomas West Virginia. highly recommended!

Darien’s place was perfect!! It was perfectly clean and beautiful. The house was very private and a beautiful place to stay. The host was very friendly and helpful for anything we needed. The stay was amazing!!

The home was easy to find and clean. It was perfect for our family weekend in WV
