A quiet and beautiful place, we were delighted to stay at Mayte's house, everything was perfect, and better than we imagined, the photos don't do it justice, and Mayte was charming, she was attentive to everything we needed, a 10, we will surely return.

A real wonder, ideal for disconnecting and enjoying the environment. It is a privilege to have breakfast on a terrace overlooking the mountains, lunch on the roofed terrace with a wonderful gas barbecue, snack by the pool, and dinner looking at the fireplace. Everything was very clean and very complete in amenities. The access road may seem complicated, but it was in very good condition despite the rains. Ramona was a very good host.

Super nice and quiet place to stay. The pool and hot tub were great and contributed to the relaxation. Communication was flawless. Very clean and everything you need was there. Kitchen fully equipped and a basic set of spices, oils and cleaning agents was also provided.

Very nice place to have a good time. l Lots of space and privacy, all clean and the owner is very friendly and helpful. She offered us a lot of flexibility with check-in and checkout. Can recommend the place and would come back.

This place was amazing. As soon as I booked it Eyal was super responsive with answers to questions I didn’t even know I had yet. This setup was exactly what we had in mind for a quick weekend getaway to relax. Everything you might need is a 20min trip down the mountain which is not bad at all. And you are right in between Malaga and Granada, so the possibilities for the rest of your trip are endless

Comfortable house in a beautiful spot very private and spotlessly clean. Good base for exploring and walking. Was the wrong time of year for us to use the pool but the grounds and outside space were really nice too. Only thing would be to have information in the house about how everything worked, what there was to do in the area where to put the rubbish, house rules etc. Overall a great stay.

Very cozy stay. In the middle of nature to disconnect from everything. Close to Antequera and with a spectacular setting. Antonio, the host, is charming and very attentive. The house is very clean and with all the amenities. We had a very good weekend. Totally recommended. We will be back.

The Descansito del Rey is a nice and cozy home with great cooking opportunities for a larger group of people. We spent a fabulous climbing holiday there. Just a few minutes away from El Chorro station and the small supermarket, the location is practical for grocery shopping on foot or going on daytrips by train. Francisco was warm and friendly and extremly quick to help us out in person when there were municipal water outages due to natural disaster. Thanks a ton <3 I definitely recommend the house and the host and would love to stay at the Descansito again!

Wonderful stay, warm welcome, nice pool, beautiful views, nice big bed, air conditioning, super shower! The road to it is a little less attractive, but once there it is quiet and nice and private. Coín is not really bustling, but very central, great base for exploring the area. Nice!

This rental is even more beautifull than the pictures show. Located high into the andalusian mountains , very secluded and private. I do suggest renting a SUV type car considering the mountainous environment. The villa was absolutely spotless and very well equiped to make your stay a very comfortable one. The house has 2 fireplaces, one inside and one outside with a grill attached to it. Jose supplied lots of excellent dry wood for these fireplaces. Jose the owner is one of the best hosts we've ever had . He met us at 02.45 in the morning to help us find the villa. He brought us cakes from a nearby bakery. Brought fruits. Gave lots of relevant tips and really cared about our stay and wellbeing. Gave us wood for the fireplace for free. Was extremely responsive when we messaged him, a very kind and caring person we were quite impressed. All in all this rental was a great experience, and we loved every minute of our stay there. Muchas gracias Jose, volveremos !

Marcos was and is a fantastic host and the property is situated beautifully if you prefer a quiet and secluded/private holiday. A car is a must if you want to venture out everyday but that’s what we like as a family holiday. The house has everything you need, the views are stunning and the privacy being at the top of the hill means you are not overlooked by neighbours at all. We will definitely come back here and look forward to the next stay.

We stayed at Carmen's villa as a family with 2 children. The location was very quiet with great views. Carmen was very helpful, super friendly and always available. The villa was very well equipped and fully corresponded to our idea. We didn't miss anything. Pool towels and pool toys were also available for us. Our excursions in the surroundings to Málaga, Marbella, Nerja, the Caminito del Rey (book early!), Ronda were worthwhile (travel times 30 min to 1:20 h). We can recommend the restaurant at Lauro Golf Resort. We were extremely satisfied with our week at Carmen's villa and can recommend it.

The house was wonderful, it had everything we needed and more. Great for lazy days around the house relaxing in the seating areas but also great to explore the nearby areas. The children loved picking the oranges from the trees and making fresh orange juice for breakfast.

Great family holiday at Juan’s. Juan was great all the way through. There was some slight confusion due to a translation app as I don’t speak Spanish and Juan doesn’t really speak English. But with the wonders of modern technology it was no issue. Juan was very helpful. The house was as described. There were little added extras that we didn’t expect like olive oil, salt, kitchen roll, sugar etc etc. One morning Juan even dropped round a crate of oranges and lemons seperated as juicers and eaters. Great Spanish holiday in a quiet peaceful location. Thank you Juan
