Beachfront vacation rentals in El Médano

A perfect home away from home! We had an amazing 10-day stay at this lovely apartment in Tenerife. It was cosy, beautifully decorated, and fully equipped with everything we needed — it truly felt like home. The location is ideal: in a quiet area, yet just a short walk to both the city center and the beach. One of the highlights was the spacious terrace with a very nice view of the bay — perfect for morning coffee or relaxing in the evening. The peaceful surroundings made it easy to unwind and enjoy every moment. Lea was an exceptional host — warm, thoughtful, and attentive to every little detail. From helpful recommendations to small touches in the apartment, her hospitality really stood out and made our stay even more special. We would definitely come back and highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Tenerife!

Javier was hands down one of the best hosts I’ve ever had the pleasure to stay with. He‘s always quick to reply, caring, friendly and just such a positive person. His apartment features an unmatchable view, basically straight from heaven - you wake up and fall in love with what you see. I‘m also in love with the small details like binoculars to enjoy the view even more. Javier even messages us around the time of arrival, welcoming us, which I think is a really kind gesture and shows that he’s indeed a caring host! He was also quick to provide us some restaurant recommendations :) Parking is totally fine, you park on the street in front of the building - walking distance is between 2-5 minutes depending on how lucky you got while looking for a parking spot. Last but not least, we were also offered to check out late, which perfectly matched our plans :) We’ll 100% come back and stay here again, thank you so much Javier!

Tolle Unterkunft. Nicht weit weg vom Pool, an dem immer genügend Liegen und Sonnenschirme waren. Gastgeber war sehr nett und super flexibel: Unser Flieger war wegen eines medizinischen Notfalls mit Zwischenlandung 1,5 Stunden später am Ziel. War gar kein Problem. Da am Abflugtag nicht gleich neue Gäste kamen, durften wir an dem Tag länger im Apartment bleiben. 100% Weiterempfehlung.

Die Unterkunft war genau wie beschrieben. Es gab einen kleinen Willkommens Gruß (Wasser, Wein und Pralinen). Die Küche ist mit allem ausgestattet was man braucht, der Supermarkt ist fussläufig erreichbar und sehr gut sortiert. Das Bett war sehr bequem, wir haben 14 Tage wie auf Wolken geschlafen. Die Klimaanlage tut ein übriges um sich wohl zu fühlen. Handtücher war mehr vorhanden als wir brauchten. Die Lage direkt am Strand ist nicht zu toppen. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und werden sicherlich wiederkommen.

Elegimos el apartamento para una semana de vacaciones en la isla. La localización era la adecuada, sin estar abarrotado de turistas, pero teniendo una buena oferta de servicios. El apartamento cuenta con un parking en el sótano que es perfecto cuando uno ha alquilado un coche para moverse, estás seguro de que no puede ocurrir nada x parte de extraños La piscina es un sueño, limpia, con agua salina e impecable. Perfecta y en nuestra estancia no estaba muy transitada El apartamento en sí tenía todo lo necesario para una estancia agradable, una buena terraza con súper vistas, cocina bien equipada y un baño completo. La cafetera es la clásica italiana, sin problema de usos… Beatriz nos dejó todo lo necesario para la semana sin necesidad de tener que comprar nada extra Nos dejó tb de regalo de bienvenida una botella de vino y unas aceitunas, que disfrutamos al atardecer en la terraza mientras oíamos el mar… En todo genial! Para volver sin pensarlo dos veces!

Vi nød en uge i Tonis dejlige lejlighed og surf-boheme byen El Medano. Lejligheden var ren og fin og med den skønneste udsigt. Den er i 3 etager, men køkken/stue forneden, soveværelser på 2 sal og i toppen en store solterrasse med vidunderlig udsigt. Der er udsigt fra alle rum. Den ligger i 5 min gåafstand til byens centrum, hvor der er en masse restauranter og caféer og hyggelig stemning. Strandene var tæt på og vi benyttede os at lejlighedens bodyboards til sjov i bølgerne. El Medano er surfers paradise og det blæser meget, der er en virkelig fed afslappet stemning i byen og strandene er gode. Tak for et skønt ophold.

Un excellent séjour, en rez de jardin juste à côté de la mer. Seule une rue peu passante nous en séparait. Et en plus il y a une belle piscine non mentionnée dans l’annonce. Elle n’est pas chauffée, mais tout à fait baignable même en janvier. Literies excellentes. Nous nous sommes sentis très bien dans ce lieu.

Fantastic apartment, everything you need for a stay. The 2 balconies are awesome with excellent views. Swimming pool was great and it was warm given it was April. Padel court was great fun and the apartment has rackets and balls available. Check in and out was very easy and good communication from the renter. Plenty of parking on the road and it's free. Playa de la Jaquita (which is the beach in front of the apartment) is an awesome beach and very quiet with lots of space. 3 nice restaurants right outside the apartment. El Medano is a 15 minute walk with more life and places to eat, lovely little town with a nice atmosphere. We would recommend this apartment and would definitely stay here again.

Hemos pasado un fin de semana de maravilla, al apartamento no le falta detalle, muy limpio y ordenado, ideal para pasar unos días en familia. Carmen, la anfitriona, una bella persona, muy atenta y amable. Lo recomendamos 100% , nosotros repetiremos !!!!

Mein erstes Mal mit einem Van unterwegs und es war Super! Es ist zwar schon ein etwas älteres Modell aber es erfüllt seinen Zweck! Genug Power um jeden Berg hochzukommen. Ich habe sehr gut geschlafen und mich direkt wohl gefühlt. Es ist so ziemlich alles drin was man braucht. Preis/Leistungsverhältnis ist meiner Meinung nach Top! Danke für diese tolle Erfahrung!

Un alojamiento genial si lo que buscas es descanso y desconexión. El apartamento estaba muy limpio y disponía de todo tipo de detalles. Tan solo indicar que la TV NO está sintonizada para huéspedes españoles y creo que deberían tratar de corregirlo Muy muy buena experiencia

Die Wohnung entspricht den Bildern und ist praktisch in der Nähe von Restaurants, Supermärkten und dem Strand gelegen. Toll fand ich die Möglichkeit, den Pool zu nutzen, der zu der Appartmentanlage gehört. Die Küche ist gut ausgestattet und man kann gut kochen, da alle wesentlichen Utensilien vorhanden sind. Die Kommunikation mit Cristina war problemlos und sehr schnell - danke dafür! Der Check-Out und Check-In waren entsprechend unkompliziert. Da auch Tiere in der Unterkunft erlaubt sind, fand ich es etwas schade, dass auf der Terrasse sehr viele Hundehaare waren. Auch ist die Terrasse (zur Straße heraus) etwas laut. Trotzdem komme ich sehr gerne wieder. Vielen Dank!

Lovely house in quiet neighbourhood. Comfortable beds. Very clean. Well stocked with all kitchen appliances and equipment. Everything you need to enjoy your holiday with a well stocked cupboard with beach equipment, beach towels etc. They kindly provided us with snorkels when we asked. Also a small bike for tris to the shops. Within driving distance of all the good beaches. La Tejita beach great for walks and surf. Great surfing beach just nearby. Very convenient for the airport. Our family really enjoyed our stay.

Nous avons passé une semaine en famille (2 enfants 4 et 6 ans) dans la maison de rêve de Marta. La écoration est soignée avec un oucis dans chaque détail. Tout est propre et sent bon, et il ne manque rien. La vue sur l'océan est incroyable. Nous avons pris tous nos repas sur la grande terrasse avec cette vue à couper le souffle. La maison taillée dans la roche est magnifique, c'est de loin le plus beau logement qu'on a eu la chance d'occuper en vacances. La maison est proche de l'aéroport et bien placée pour rayonner un peu partout sur l'île. Il y a un super marché tout proche et des petits restos sympas. La petite plage au pied de la maison est parfaite pour se poser en fin de journée avec les enfants. Enfin l'accueil à notre arrivée était très chaleureux et nous avons beaucoup apprécié la communication et flexibilité de Marta. Nous recommandons sans hésiter cette maison pour des vacances à Tenerife !

I've rented Nurias place with a group of friends, stayed there for 7 days and enjoyed every single one of them. It was clean, cozy, there was also an awesome grill and huge terrace upstairs on which we spent most of our evenings. It was a pleasure to talk with Nuria, she was really helpful and kind. I highly recommend this place :)

From the minute I paid for the booking and my initial contact with Julio, I must say Julio replied quickly & comprehensively to my messages👌 The apartment was perfect for my mother (82years old), she felt safe and enjoyed the peaceful surroundings, as well as access to the pool was so easy being on the same floor👌 For me the location was perfect to cycle from, secure area and a perfect base to discover the delights of the south of the island All in all a perfect 5 days for us both- Thank you very much Julio - we’ll be back🤩

Nos encantó el alojamiento! Cumplió con todas las expectativas y más. Estuvimos 14 días haciendo home office, muy cómodos.

El alojamiento de Anna es perfecto, la ubicación en el Médano es la mejor posible, pegado a la playa. El apartamento es tal y como se ve en las fotos, para nuestra familia de 5 resultó inmejorable. Tiene de todo, incluida una thermomix, tal vez eche en falta un microondas por comodidad pero no es nada que sea imprescindible. Estaba todo muy limpio y la comunicación con Anna fue rápida y solucionó rápido un pequeño problema con el acceso al piso. Lo recomiendo encarecidamente. Sin duda intentaré volver a este apartamento cuando vuelva a El Médano

el alojamiento de Inés es perfecto para una gran familia y para unas largas vacaciones. es muy amplio, luminoso, ventilado, aún estando en el centro del medano se descansa perfectamente porque las habitaciones están situadas al fondo del alojamiento. Inés es muy buena anfitriona, tiene buena comunicación y muy amable. seguro repetiremos!

We had a wonderful stay here! The location was perfect — just steps from the beach, and within easy walking distance to markets, restaurants, cafés, and shops. The neighborhood is peaceful and quiet. The apartment itself was clean, cozy, and had a beautiful ocean view. The bedroom had a warm, inviting vibe with soft lighting. It’s a great spot if you love wind and water sports — it’s a windy area, perfect for windsurfing. There are also beautiful hikes nearby with or without a car. Speaking of which, we recommend parking on the street rather than in the garage if you have a larger car — it’s quite tight, like most of the parking in Tenerife. One thing to note about EI Médano in general is that there's a subtle sewage smell that comes and goes, especially in the mornings when the wind isn't as strong. It wasn't constant, but worth mentioning. Overall, it's a lovely, cozy, peaceful place in a fantastic location.

Javier è stato gentile e presente, l'appartamento è molto carino e merita una vacanza anche più di una settimana. Ho comunicato che c'erano alcune cose da sistemare ed è stato subito pronto a cambiarle. Consiglio sicuramente una vacanza qui. :-)
