Pet-friendly vacation rentals in El Hierro

You can be assured of a friendly warm welcome from Silvana and Ruben. They left us local wine, cake and bananas and some eggs from their own hens. They even invited us to join them at a jazz concert! The house is very comfortable, it has everything you need and more. The terrace garden with a view of the bay is just lovely! Tamaduste has great safe swimming, a small supermarket and two restaurants. We spent a perfect week at La Casita de Los Tenderos, we will be back!

Casa grande, luminosa, fiel a las fotografiás, en una zona tranquila con excelentes vista, nos sorprendió lo bien equipada que estaba, cantidad de electrodomésticos en la cocina. Estanterías en la sala y en la terraza cubierta en diferentes idiomas y temática. Útiles tales como cargadores, productos de higiene personal e intima. Un bolso con toallas y una nevera de playa justo al lado de la puerta. Conexión wifi de alta velocidad Una carpeta con rutas y sitios en diferentes idiomas para que los huéspedes tuviesen sitios para visitar. También nos facilito mapas de senderos y carreteras. Detalles como que el panadero nos dejara cada día un pan dentro de una panera justo en la entrada de la casa. A destacar la acogida de Gilberto, esperándonos para no solo realizar la entrada sino para explicarnos que podíamos hacer en la zona y alrededores a partir del día siguiente, muy amable y cercano .

Super nice accomodation, even nicer than in the pictures! The fresh welcome groceries were especially appreciated 👌 The apartment is modern and decorated with taste. A special mention for the quality kitchen items (like le Creuset pots and pans). Friendly host. And finally Tamaduste is a pretty village at the end of the road that you cannot but like 👍

El trato recibido impecable, precisión, eficacia, claridad y amabilidad en la comunicación. La casa entrañable, silenciosa y acogedora. Además de tener todos los utensilios necesarios y más. El entorno inmejorable, lo mejor: La naturaleza y su gente. Gracias por todo ♥️

Love the Island, love the place!! Margarita was always responsive and the cleaning lady was also really nice. Wood stove was perfect at night in January, sunrise in the morning at terrace, walking paths close by. Lovely plants on property.

La estancia no pudo ser mejor. El apartamento estaba en perfectas condiciones, limpio y acogedor. Destacar la comunicación con Jhoan, que estuvo súper atento en todo momento y nos hizo muy buenas recomendaciones. La entrada fue muy fácil con sus indicaciones y nos dio flexibilidad horaria para salir. Volveríamos a repetir sin dudarlo!!

Si bien no fui yo misma la que se hospedó. Fue un obsequio que le hicimos a misma suegros. Ellos volvieron encantados! El alojamiento tal cual las fotos y la descripción. Zona muy tranquila. Que en este caso era lo que se buscaba. Un sitio que les permita descansar del bullicio de la ciudad. Los anfitriones muy amables. Fueron recibidos con un aperitivo de bienvenida. ¡Todo un detalle por su parte!

Si lo que buscas es un entorno privilegiado para poder desconectar del mundo este es el sitio. Hay que bajar una cuesta pronunciada para acceder a la casa. (Y luego subirla) El paraiso tiene un precio. La casa está bien equipada, pero el plus es la terraza donde puedes comer, tumbarte a leer o lo que quieras mirando el oceano cara a cara. También merece mención especial Agata, la anfitriona, un 10 de persona. No hay wifi y sólo hay un rinconcito en el Pozo con cobertura básica. En mi caso estuve en Noviembre yo sólo y fue una gozada tener todo el pueblo para mí. Pequeño consejo: Ve bien pertrechado de comida, porque una vez abajo, ya no querrás subir. Un saludo

Hector has gone to extraordinary lengths to add all the comforts one could wish for. For a very small property, Hector managed to fit in a range of products that one would expect to find in a 5* hotel - robes, toiletries, etc. this is posh glamping at its best. The location is superb. Rarely can one ‘get away from it all’ like you can here. Apart from the cats and the goats, the only sound is from the windmills and they are atmospheric rather than annoying. We didn’t have great weather when we visited (Jan 2025) so we were delighted to have Netflix and a comfy bed to retire to. The pool is a great addition, as is the BBQ area. We plan to return in spring 2026. Thank you Hector for making our stay on El Hierro so special.

The perfect retreat on a beautiful island. Matias' house is lovely, with great outdoor space, and everything else you might need for a relaxing holiday. We had fantastic weather, so the pool was very welcome (we were swimming every day). The outdoor BBQ and terrace was perfect for lunchtime or evening, and the village shop stocks a range of meats, local cheeses, bread, local wines, beers and all sorts of other groceries - it's a 5 minute walk from the house, as are bars/restaurants. The garden is really interesting - full of native plant species and with lots of birdlife and lizards. We arrived at the time when the local Cory's Shearwaters were breeding on the cliffs behind the house, and their strange calls filled the air every night as the sun went down. We even saw whales from the house balcony! Matias was an excellent host - always responsive and helpful and obviously proud of his home and El Hierro. We are already missing the place! We will be back!

Carlos es un anfitrión muy amable. El apartamento estaba equipado con todo lo necesario y tanto la limpieza como el propio apartamento fueron excelentes. Repetiremos sin duda!

Carlos es el anfitrión perfecto, y que decir de su alojamiento, tenía de todo, la cocina equipada, el baño perfecto, las camas y sala de estar geniales,y el exterior con piscina y zona con césped con tumbonas , cerca de la Caleta y el Tamaduste, recomiendo 100%, volveremos.

Die Wohnung ist ganz neu renoviert und sieht so aus wie auf den Bildern. Toller Herd mit Induktion. Allerdings gab es kein Salz/Pfeffer/Öl, was sehr praktisch wäre. Allerdings gibt es zwei Straßen weiter gleich zwei Supermärkte, bei denen man sich eindecken kann und falls man nicht kochen will, gibt es direkt gegenüber ein gutes Restaurant. Die Wohnung liegt im Erdgeschoss eines Mehrfamilienhauses. Die Fenster im Schlafzimmer zeigen auf die Straße, haben aber Milchglas, so dass man seine Privatsphäre hat, außer man lüftet. Dann kann jeder, der vorbeikommt direkt reinschauen. Vor dem Fenster im Wohnzimmer/Küche ist, wenn das Restaurant offen hat auch regelmäßig Personenverkehr. Aber da das Restaurant um 18 Uhr schließt, kommt danach Abends, wenn man daheim ist kaum jemand vorbei. Wir hatten eine gute Zeit in der Unterkunft von Alberto. Kostenlose Parkplätze findet man entweder, wenn man Glück hat, direkt ums Haus oder man muss ein paar Straßen weiter fahren.

El apartamento estaba bastante limpio y muy bonito. Era bastante acogedor justo lo que buscaba.

La casa es increíble, tiene todo lo necesario y más, para pasar unos días de desconexión. Todo limpio y muy bien organizado. Los extras que tiene la casa y te ofrecen son un gran detalle. Dan ganas de pasar allí el día entero sin salir. El anfitrión muy amable y siempre atento. Volveremos seguro.

We (a family with three children, 4, 6 and 9) were here to celebrate the 9th birthday of our oldest. it is such a beautiful place with real charm, everything out of massive wood and black lava stone. the house has got all the comforts, even an AC/heater, very comfortable mattress, a swing for children and a lovely garden. it has beautiful ocean and mountain views. it is really quiet and pleasant to eat outside and enjoy the lounge chairs watching the huge mountains. we could visit in a minimum driving time all areas of interest of El Hierro.
