A perfect getaway on the coast with fresh air, sandy beaches, biking/hiking trails, and quaint restaurants, our place is 10minutes walk to the famous Maverick Beach, Sam Chowder House, and the Harbor. This stylish guest house is the 1st floor of our seldom used beach house in El Granada, 4 miles north of Half Moon Bay. It has a private entry, a fully equipped kitchen, w/ a laundry/mud room & on-site parking. Large decks have splendid ocean view! Come and enjoy this quiet and comfortable home.

PLEASE NOTE, we live in a 3 story home and this unit is on the lower level of our home. Also available in a 1 bedroom, this suite features a spacious living room with a fire place, flatscreen TV & a kitchenette with most everything you will need to feel at home. A nice large bedroom with a quality queen bed & linens, a large bathroom with a double sink, tub and shower. The private entrance leads to a patio with stunning views and quiet space. There is a second sunning patio do dine and rest.

Set sail, go whale watching, rent paddle boards, kayaks, and surfboards; all minutes from your door. Explore our breathtaking coastal trails by bike or on foot. Ideal for 1-2 adult guests. We are unable to accommodate children or pets.

Cozy, creekside guest suite with private entrance

Cozy, creekside guest suite just blocks from the beach and the picturesque harbor. This one bedroom unit has been completely remodeled with a fully stocked kitchen, a separate eating/work space and a bathroom with a walk in shower. Drink your morning coffee (host provided) on the furnished deck while listening to the sounds of the running creek and the fog horn in the distance. This unit has its own private entrance and is closed off from the rest of the house.

Separate Studio with Ocean View private/Quiet

You enter through your own private lit stairway of 15 steps down heads up (NO RAILING) You must be agile! On the South side of the home is access your private 300 SF studio. You will be greeted by spectacular ocean views and manicured private garden. If you enjoy indoor/outdoor living you will appreciate the vast MULTI LEVEL decking, lovingly manicured garden and your own weber gas grill. The space is very private and quiet , say hi if you see me in garden.

Coastal Cottage Guest House

Guest house is attached to our primary residence but has a separate exterior entrance. The interior is separated by double doors that lock from both sides, similar to adjoining hotel rooms. The backyard is shared by us, the owners. There’s a very real chance you’ll be greeted by our friendly Australian Shepherd, Gracie, during your stay! You may see us in the yard during your stay. Feel free to say hi! Otherwise, we like to give our guests privacy.
