This place is the ideal spot when going to Mexicali in the summer. The room is clean, the beds are comfy, A/C works wonderfully and the restroom is just the right size for the room... My favorite part while staying at this place was the grassy area and the pool. Late night swims are a must! Its a whole vibe! my family and I cant wait to stay at this place again. Its a hidden gem!. Luis has great communication skills and responds quickly. Got to meet him and his family, they are very nice people. Hasta la proxima Don Luis!

Quiet, comfortable and with everything you might need

Very peaceful place a lot of nature around the the pool is great, very comfortable and confidential property.

As other people have said an absolute gem, it a really cool I would say 'place', but it's actually 2 places. Loved it.

Amazing location on the Colorado river, definitely a hidden gem in Baja California. We had a great stay with our family in the cabin. Very comfortable and clean. AC's work great and it has all the basic amenities you need. Beautiful sunsets and sunrises. My husband and I stayed in the room that has the window looking out on the river, waking up in the morning to the sunrise was breath taking. Coffee in the morning on the front patio watching the river and nature at it's best, was wonderful. Would have loved to have spent more time there. We were fortunate to experience so much beauty that Baja California offers in that area, from cruising down the river to get tacos to off-roading to the hot springs through all different kinds of terrain. We will definitely be back. If you are looking to play on the water, hike, hunt, off-road or just relax, this is a great place to stay. Justin is a gracious host and we appreciate him sharing his home with us.

Don’s place on the river is a gem! We were roadtripping back to the states and it was our last night in Mexico. What a perfect last night location! The property is so serene and calm. We thoroughly enjoyed sitting on the back patio and watching the birds in the river during sunset. The house had everything we needed. The home furnishings align with the rustic charm of Baja. We ordered dinner ahead of time (200 pesos each) and wow, it was great! Homemade tortillas.
