By public transport, it is also only 20 minutes to Central Station and within 30 minutes to the RAI, or the atmospheric Pijp with its many terraces and the museum square.

House of 100 years old is under the mill and is cozy and comfortable. A five-minute walk and you are in the center of Alkmaar. Rent a boat and see Alkmaar from the water. In the street behind the cottage is a nice, large playground, the "OKB". The bus stops in front of the door. Paid parking in the area and opposite the house. Free parking within walking distance. Center: a 5-minute walk Beach: 30 minutes by bike/15 minutes by car Two bicycles for use at the cottage.

The Old Factory “Energy Neutral Tinyhouse”

Our cozy guest house was converted in 2019 from an old aluminum factory to an energy-neutral tiny house of 40m2. It is free-standing in the backyard of our renovated house in Limmen. It is close to the dunes, the beach and forests. The larger cities of Alkmaar, Haarlem and Amsterdam are within driving distance. It is also easy to do by public transport, but having your own car makes it many times easier. With a bicycle, you can best enjoy the surroundings.

The house has 3 floors full of atmosphere and amenities. The cottage is located on the river Amstel, only 15 minutes by car and 20 minutes by bike from the vibrant center of Amsterdam. The cottage overlooks meadows on all sides. It is next to the owners house, but offers a lot of privacy. The cottage has a nice terrace that overflows into the garden.
