Monthly Rentals in Egg Buckland

Lovely clean bungalow, linen and furnishings. A gorgeous garden and pretty views. All as shown in the current photos. We appreciated the excellent communication from the hosts. They had thought of every little detail, including hand wash, washing up liquid, kitchen roll and toilet paper. We arrived to a pack of lemon muffins and croissants which was a very nice touch. We will definitely be booking again when visiting family. I was so impressed that I have saved a few of their other properties in my favourites folder. We stayed here for 4 months while our home was uninhabitable and Laura was happy with us making the space our own, even going as far as storing furniture we didn't need! Laura was friendly and replied to any messages quickly - even when she was out of the country, she resolved issues promptly. The flat is exactly as described; the rooms are bright and spacious, the kitchen is simple but functional, and the downstairs neighbour is quiet. The sofa bed in the living room isn't the most comfortable, and if you're over 5'8" your feet will likely dangle off the end! It would be perfect for a short stay (or a short guest, which luckily I am!). The carpet in the hallway has seen better days, but she does let to pets so this is understandable. The front door downstairs is a bit fiddly, but the back door to the fire escape works perfectly and is the preferred means of access. Parking in the area is terrible, but there is a parking space out the back if you drive a small car!
