The front desk has two separate guesthouses behind each other for a maximum of 12 people. The first house is comfortable for 4 people, with its own room with a kitchen and a bathroom. From the terrace of the back house, there is a bunk bed apartment with a separate entrance. We recommend this for large families for 4+4 people. The house has a room, kitchen and bathroom. And the bunk bed apartment has one more bathroom. Opposite the back house, there is a playroom with a separate entrance where children can retreat to and explore.

They were very welcoming and responsive to our questions. Being cool, they were well heated for us😊. Katalin and her Husband where the most fantastic hosts. We were warmly greeted upon arrival and shown the accomodation. Shortly after he provided some cold refreshments which were very welcome and a tasty local drink. During the stay Katalin gave us some treats she had baked herself and some Romanian sausages. Katalin made sure we had everything we needed, even providing some extra items to ensure our baby was comfortable while playing in the yard. The accomodation was as described and perfect for what we were looking for, allowing us to relax for a couple of days. We were very glad that we chose to stay at Katalin’s place and would happily stay again.

Nice, sophisticated stay. The host was very kind, thank you for recommending local restaurants and excursions. The place especially liked the bright living room (large windows to the garden) and the calm, quiet bedrooms. A crystal clear stream flows at the end of the garden, separated from the garden by a fence. Really relaxing appartement.

We loved staying in our private apartment in Matyasne's beautiful and welcoming home. We would highly recommend this choice to anyone wanting to vacation in Eger. The apartment was even prettier and more spacious than the photos suggested. The location is perfect - a pretty, treed area with gardens, and a nice walk to the downtown square, churches, castle and Valley of the Beautiful Women wine area. Plus it is also close to the bus station, which made it easy for us to visit the park with the mountains and waterfalls about 25 K outside of Eger. Matyasne went above and beyond with all her help and her suggestions about what to see. We also appreciated Matyasne's excellent English, which made our communications so easy. Plus she picked us up from the train station and dropped us off there when we left! This booking exceeded all our expectations. We are so happy we were lucky enough to choose this place for our stay in Eger.

Adrienne's place was great. It's a few minutes walk from Eger castle and Dobo Istvan square. Although it looked exactly like the pictures, I found it biger than I expected. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen is well equipped, the dinning table is big and gave comfortable place for everyone. The main bathroom is big and comfortable, the second one was a bit crowded. We were a group of 8 people, 2 families, and everyone had their place to sleep. We had a great time!

Lovely log home close to the forest

The house was lovely, on a hillside with the forest adjacent. The stairs to the bedroom were a bit intimidating, but were fine once you were used to them. As a very tall person I learned to duck my head at the right time! The kitchen had everything we needed and the bed was very comfortable. There was some very heavy rain while we were there, so we needed to stay in for a whole day, but it was fine. Bükkszentkereszt is an interesting village and there's a good walk up to an observation tower with great views. Lillafüred is also worth a visit, with a waterfall and forest railway. Don't take the direct road to Miskolc - it's in a really bad state. We turned around and came back! A lovely stay - thank you, Karolina.
