Brad & Henry's cottage was the perfect quiet and relaxing retreat. The space is exactly as described and shown in photos, and also kept just as clean. The entire experience from check-in to check-out was easy to follow and highly detailed, and communication and response times were very quick. We even arrived to a lovely bottle of prosecco left for us to enjoy. Everything in the cottage is well thought through and all the amenities makes it very convenient. I would be cognizant that you're located in a more remote area (which is why it's so peaceful), so getting to the nearest town takes about 20 mins by car - for more restaurants etc. But I would highly recommend Brad & Henry's cottage and look forward to returning again!

We had an amazing stay at Greg’s cottage. It was the perfect getaway and the perfect mix between cozy cottage and fancy amenities! We loved the sauna and the hot tub, they were amazing additions to Greg’s. The beds were super comfortable as well which is always a plus at a cottage. Greg was always responsive and was super helpful. We cannot wait to come back to this cozy cottage! Thanks Greg!

This place was beautiful and right on the water. We stayed for three nights and really enjoyed it. We had enough kayaks to have fun in the water. The location was very private and peaceful.

My fiancee and I wanted a place where we could experience winter with our 14 month old son. This cottage was perfect. It's on a beautiful, quiet, large piece of property. There was so much snow on the ground but we were still able to enjoy ourselves! There was a massive snow storm coming so unfortunately we had to end our visit early. The inside of the cottage is set up beautifully and has everything you should need. Our son is just learning to walk and had a blast zooming around the main floor. Even though we had to leave early we still enjoyed our stay and would love to check it out again. Luke, Kelce, Grady

Leah and her husband were absolutely wonderful from our very first interaction. We were visiting to celebrate our wedding, and they went above and beyond to support us, even helping with a small outdoor family gathering. They were also kind enough to accommodate an early check-in, which made our day so much smoother. The property was beautifully set on the water - peaceful, scenic, and perfect for the occasion. The home was spotless and fully equipped with everything you could possibly need. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and Leah made sure we were settled and had everything to make our stay perfect. She even made personalized signs for our event and guest parking, which our family really appreciated. Everyone was blown away by the space and the hospitality, but the star of the show might have been little Miss Lily - the sweetest kitty that loved a good snuggle with the family! Thank you again, Leah, for such a memorable stay. We’re already looking forward to coming back!! :)

I have stayed at over 130 AirBnBs, likely 40 of them cottages, and this may be my favourite. The effort and care put into making this property the ultimate lake experience is overwhelming. We didn't even have the chance to sit at every beautiful spot - there just weren't enough days! The beach - the dock - the lake fire pit - the hill fire pit - the deck fireplace - the gazebo with the full table and chairs - the perfect dining table overlooking the whole lake... And that's just outside. The beds are incredibly comfortable, the soaker tub sublime, and the main living room as cozy a spot as we've ever been. Our original AirBnB was not as advertised, and Tomek made his place available at 6 pm on a Friday night for the weekend. He didn't just save our weekend -- he made it better. I can't say enough good things. Book this spot. If you're looking for a cottage weekend relaxing outside, it might be the best I've ever seen. Thank you Tomek.

Had a great 3-day, 2-night cottage stay! The property was just as described—clean, peaceful, and well-equipped for a relaxing getaway. The host was very responsive and helpful throughout our stay. (This review was written by my wife, Tami) As we drove up the secluded lane that led into the enchanted forest we knew that we had found a gem.The cottage was charming & spotless with a huge deck that set high up in the trees. The sauna & hot tub provided pure relaxation at the end of our days. The dock was huge with comfortable seating, we even had 2 loons gliding by each day! We hiked to waterfalls, fished & took the canoe for a paddle. Our pups loved our daily adventures! Mark was the perfect host & easy to contact if needed. Our recent trip to an Airbnb in Algonquin Park was unforgettable. The stunning natural surroundings and the comfortable, well-appointed cottage made for a fantastic experience. The setting was exceptional—right on the lake, with convenient access to kayaking, swimming, and hiking. We cherished quiet mornings sipping coffee on the dock. The cottage was both cozy and spotless, blending rustic charm with modern amenities to create a true cabin-in-the-woods atmosphere while still offering all the comforts of home. While nearly everything was perfect, there are a couple of minor improvements that could further enhance the experience: Having a greater supply of dishwasher-safe dishes, cups, and mugs would be appreciated. We found ourselves needing to handwash some glasses and cups, which was a bit inconvenient. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend this cottage to anyone seeking a peaceful retreat in Algonquin Park.

The cabin was as pictured and described and any questions were quickly answered by Jessica. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen was well equipped and as we were unlucky with the weather we can vouch for the heating in a cold May! The extra entertainment via TV/Dvd's and games were also welcome. View from deck was lovely and the barbecue was appreciated. Only unusual thing was brining our own sheets and towels which was a first in the Airbnb's we have rented. However we would recommend Jessica's place and would return.

We stayed here for a few days after our wedding for our "mini-moon" vacation and had the best stay! The weather ended up being perfect for a few days of spending time outside and on the dock in this beautiful spot. Everything you could think of, they had ready for use. We really enjoyed our time here and can't wait to come back.

My friends and I stayed here for Labour Day weekend, probably one of best cottages we have ever been to! Sherry was very quick to respond to any inquiry’s I had and we had so much fun on all the water toys they had available! Though the airbnb is missing some basic things like garbage bags, paper towels, bedsheets and towels it was still a very pleasant stay and we will definitely be back!

We had a wonderful countryside stay at this cozy, clean, and comfortable cabin in the woods. The setting was peaceful and truly felt like a getaway into nature. The host was great—friendly and responsive, making our experience even better. It was a very interesting and enjoyable stay, and we would definitely love to come back again!

We had an amazing weekend celebrating my dad's 70th birthday at this beautiful, secluded property! Hershel was super friendly and communicative from booking through check-out, even giving us great local recommendations when we arrived early. The place was spotless and fully equipped with everything we needed—towels, linens, kitchen and BBQ supplies, toiletries, WiFi, and even a TV (though we didn’t need it!). We loved the private river for fishing, the sauna, fire pit, trails, and the stunning views. The check-in guide and house manual were clear and helpful, making everything easy to navigate, and the check-out process was stress-free. A welcome bottle of wine was also such a thoughtful touch! There was so much to do in and around the property, and though we drove three hours to get there, we’d do it again in a heartbeat. Highly recommend this stay to anyone looking for a peaceful, well-equipped retreat surrounded by nature. Thank you Hershel and Tiferet for an unforgettable getaway!

We had an amazing time and even extended our stay by a day! The cottage was cozy and right by the lake, perfect for fishing and stargazing. However, a couple of things: One window lock near the kitchen was broken when we arrived.. we assumed this was left as is and didn't think much of it - We felt a bit uncomfortable with how this was addressed after our stay. We were faulted for not reporting this and was told "we look guilty" by not mentioning this to the owners. Some rocks around the fire pit were accidentally moved by our kids and thrown onto the lake. We didn't realize their importance as there were plenty of rocks around the property. We felt the follow-up comment about it was a bit off-putting. Then there was the outdoor furniture which the owners questioned if our children poked holes in it (did not) - 3 very small holes identified by owners. Overall, we had a wonderful family time and would recommend the place with some minor communication improvements.

What a beautiful waterfront cottage! Navid has been very responsive and accommodating of every requests and the cottage was very clean and organized. The view was amazing and had everything you need!

The house is absolutey stunning. We all loved both the indoor and outdoor space. We loved all being able to be together and the space was really made for gatherings so if you are looking for that then look no further. Additionally, we loved the small touches like the pictures of how the house was built! The glass walls really make it a one of a kind experience. Aaron, the host, was great to communicate with! Only suggestion if you read this is to bring your bug spray!

Beautiful cottage for a family weekend on the cutest little lake, perfect for a weekend getaway with the family. The kitchen was highly stocked with everything you could need and all the beds were very comfortable. Also very relaxing cute sun room off the main living area. Jennifer was a great host would highly recommend to anyone!

A few friends and I needed a place close to Bancroft to stay for a night, and this cottage fit perfectly - close to town, on a beautiful quiet lake, and reasonably priced (with a discount applied). The cottage was super clean and we appreciated the extra touches with Nespresso pods & a bottle of wine. If we had more time, I would have loved to get out in one of the kayaks! The rooms are small, as noted by other reviewers, but there is a good sized front porch with outdoor seating and seating down at the dock - if you are coming to spend time outside, you won't mind the smaller rooms!
