My place is close to the city center, art and culture, great views, restaurants and dining, and parks. You’ll love my place because of the high ceilings, the location, the coziness, and the kitchen. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, and families (with kids). The home is only 2 blocks from bars and restaurants and less than 5 blocks from Historic Downtown Wausau. This is a diamond in the rough! Place is set up perfectly. Nick was super responsive with any answers! For what we paid it was worth every penny. The only draw back was the noise of cars echoing off the buildings, nothing the host can do about it, but honestly nothing that would stop me from going back here again and again!! Hopefully bringing the whole family next time!!

We had the most amazing family weekend getaway at the cabin! It was a great spot for our group of 10– plenty of space for everyone, yet cozy and inviting. The cabin was spotless and well stocked with thoughtful amenities. The kids especially loved the game room and backyard— it kept them entertained. We also made great use of the pedal boat and pond for fishing. Communication with the host was excellent! Everything from booking to check out went smoothly. If you’re looking for a clean, family friendly cabin with great outdoor space and entertainment options, this place is it!

The Chouse was an amazing space. We had an extended stay here and it was perfect for our needs. It was a great location for our family in Wausau and a perfect place to bring the grandkids over for the day. We had room to play games and do crafts. They loved the air hockey and Pac-Man games. We had several tournaments. We would highly recommended this place for a family gathering.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Bobby’s! We were able to go kayaking and caught some fish we ate for dinner! The locals were very helpful and friendly with us. There were baby deer and a lot of wildlife to be seen. The tent itself had everything you’d need for a glamping experience! Toilet was in a perfect area! All around I loved our stay here and would love to come back!

Cozy, Quiet & Sanitized

Had to be in town for a few days of appointments. It's quite a drive for us, so I decided to book an AirBNB. I booked Kathleens place after learning that my go to BNB was occupied during the time that we needed. Kathleens place will just have to go on my list of BNB options in the area. The place was more than I even expected... I don't think the listing does the space justice. I will admit that if you are after brand new, squeaky clean, sterile conditions this might not be the place for you. It was absolutely clean in every way that mattered but had a vintage cabin charm that you just cannot get with "sterile" We felt right at home, and I would not have it any other way. I was able to DoorDash some groceries and make pancakes in the morning! I forgot a couple things but found that the things I needed had already been left in the kitchen. What hotel could we have done that at? Kathleens place is a great example of what I love about AirBNB. Would recommend this stay to anyone.

Jessica was very helpful and responded quickly and had great suggestions to do around the area. The kids loved the kayaks and fishing off the dock. The hammock was a huge hit. The home was cozy and homey with enough room to not feel on top of each other. We will be back.

Owl Ridge Cabin - WI Top Cabin

Our stay at Owl Ridge was great. It is so peaceful. If you are looking for a quiet getaway in a place that is private -or a “staycation” away from home- this is a great place to stay. There are also plenty of restaurants in Wausau if you want to get out of the house. The kitchen is stocked with all of the basics for cooking and grilling (bring your own food, seasonings, etc).
