One minute from the bus station in Edam. 20 minutes from city center Amsterdam, in a safe, causy, quite and child-friendly neighbourhood. Also a 100 mteres from the known Edam cheese markets. From here: visit most of the Netherlands within 2 hours drive. Perfect for a family with one or two children. You will be renting the whole house, with garden. Bathtub in a fully niew bathroom ! Midden in het gezellige centrum van Purmerend en toch zo rustig gelegen, vind je mijn knusse gastenverblijf. Binnen 200 meter sta je op het horecaplein met een ruime keuze aan restaurants. Hier begint tevens het winkelgebied van Purmerend. Elke dinsdag is er bijvoorbeeld markt. Er zitten twee grote supermarkten aan de overkant van de weg op slechts 100 meter. De bushalte is op 200 meter en het treinstation op slechts 1 km van mijn locatie (naar o.a. het centrum van Amsterdam (20 min.).

The studio is the top floor of our back house, with its own entrance, small shower/toilet and kitchenette. The space is 10 by 6 meters, overlooking the Beemsterringvaart. It's a 10-minute walk to the bus stop. Bus 314 will take you one way to the historic city of Hoorn and the other way to Amsterdam central. The bus will take 40 minutes there. It is best to buy tickets in advance of your visit to Amsterdam travel tickets so you can use all public transport ( 26/ 33 euros)

Special shops within walking distance. Not to mention the culinary offers of the in surrounding places such as Volendam, Monnickendam and a pancake in Broek. Cultural trip to Amsterdam? In the oldest part of the famous fishing village Volendam, you’ll find this charming cottage. The oldest part was built in 1890. The 19th century styled living room gives a cozy (or as the Dutch say "gezellig") feel to your stay. There is WIFI in the cottage. The cottage is ideal for two people, but there is ample space for a third person (adult or 2 children when max. age of 6), to sleep in a typically Dutch 'bedstee' on the ground floor.
