Holly House - Quiet Retreat

KatieRating, 5 stars5 days ago
We had a wonderful stay at Greg's home. Ray, who showed us round gave us the perfect welcome and explained everything to us. The photos looked fantastic but it's even more beautiful in person. Amazing facilities, very clean, and every single bedroom was lovely. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything you could need to cook a big meal, there was a huge supply of tea and coffee and they even provided milk and biscuits! The hot tub was a welcome addition, incredibly well maintained, worked perfectly and lovely and warm by the time we came to use it. It's just the perfect home for entertaining. We visited as a family of six adults and thought it was brilliant, from the enormous TV to the boardgames and Sonos system. There was just so much room - perfect for small children too. The weather was awful but we didn't mind staying in because the house was so beautiful. We would stay again in a heartbeat!

Jack's Cottage, Curbar

TonyRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
We’ve just come back from a short stay at Jacks cottage, this was our first booking through Airb&b so we didn’t really know what to expect, we needn’t of worried as we thought Jacks cottage looked even better in the flesh than in the pictures so did it disappoint. The place was spotless when we arrived which is great as it put us all at ease, we felt at home straight away. Jacks cottage is situated in a small and very quiet village, honestly there is no noise. We live in a busy town with road noise so going to sleep at night with no sound but the birds singing was lovely. The hot tub was a great way to relax after a day out walking and again was spotless. The cottage is in a perfect location to explore the Peak District with some amazing walks right on the doorstep, we particularly enjoyed Bakewell, The Chatsworth estate and finding the very local Robin Hoods cave ( what 3 words assets.joined.offer if you struggle to find it). Thank you again Matt & Ginny for a lovely holiday

Luxury Peak District Cottage with Hot Tub

EllieRating, 5 stars3 days ago
Myself and my partner came to stay for 2 nights. As soon as we walked in we felt extremely welcomed and at home. Lots of detail was put into the cottage along with homemade cake and fresh apple juice. The surroundings were amazing and hosts had provided maps and allowed us access on the farm. Would 100% recommend and we will definitely be booking to come again. We met both hosts who were very lovely and you can tell they have put a lot of thought into the cottage and hard work. There is generally nothing to complain about, the whole cottage was perfect!

A very comfortable house — clean and spacious. The kitchen was fully equipped, and we were pleasantly surprised to find eggs, butter, milk, white wine, and juice already prepared for us. It was such a thoughtful and considerate touch. The surrounding scenery is beautiful and truly relaxing — you’ll definitely enjoy your stay and won’t be disappointed. If we visit Peak District again, we’d absolutely love to return to this house.

Cosy Little Cottage in the Peak District

EmmaRating, 5 stars5 days ago
Beautiful location with many walks and rides from the door. The location is great - right in the heart of many outdoor places to go. Enjoyed watching the ducks, sheep and cows going about their day. Glorious views from the back patio area truly part of the Derbyshire countryside. The cottage is very well equipped with everything you could hope for, and is much bigger than expected. The pictures do not do it justice. Easy to find and despite being within a working farm was peaceful and a lovely place to spend a couple of days. The shower was excellent after a long wet walk. Thanks Allie for a great relaxing stay. I hope to return with my dogs in the future.

Riverside Cottage set in a Picturesque Village

ClareRating, 5 stars1 month ago
We had a fabulous 3 nights at Amanda and Steve’s lovely home. As soon as we booked we received a really informative message outlining entry arrangements, WiFi, local attractions etc which was great. The house is really lovely and spacious, a real home from home with added extra such as the generous welcome pack and logs, kindling and firefighters for the log burner. The towels and bedding were all really good hotel quality and the beds really comfy. We walked around the reservoir and kinder scout whilst we were there and the house is really well placed for this, in fact we never used our car until we went home which was great! We ate in the Packjorse twice and the lovely Italian which was a bonus. We want to thank Amanda and Steve for letting us stay and would love to come back in the future, if possible.

We loved the welcome gifts including freshly baked bread. The cottage is really well equipped with everything you need, and it was easy to find everything. Fran really thought of everything to ensure we had a comfortable and enjoyable experience. We would definitely recommend this gem to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway. Thank you, Fran, for such a memorable stay!

Cosy and quirky peak district retreat

OwenRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
We had a lovely stay in the cottage. There was 4 of us 2 adults, 4 month baby and our Dog Luna. We had a great stay and the village of Bradwell is quaint and peaceful, no noises in the evenings. The cottage has everything you need and is well equipped. Co-Op is a 10min walk at the bottom of quite a steep hill 😉 The cottage is quirky in the sense the ceilings are low upstairs and just have to watched your head occasionally but we have lived in a very similar house so soon got used to this but something to consider. Parking near the cottage is O.k not the best but felt safe leaving our car at the top of the hill or outside one of the neighbours, not too much of an issue. All in all a really lovely place with gorgeous views, walks all around and very lovely stocked bookshelves and really creatively decorated so is just a lovely place to be. Book it and feel the escape and peace within these charming and delightful cottage. Communication with Fran was great too!

Meadow View Heights-the Heart of the Peak District

JamieRating, 5 stars5 days ago
This property is fantastic, set in a great location, supported by Caroline who is a fabulous host. We specifically chose this property as wanted somewhere nice and quiet but within easy walk to the local pub! The walks are as long or as short as you want, right from your doorstep. We managed a 11 mile circular route with our dog. The property has everything you need and is very cosy. The outside terrace is secure and was perfect for our dog to keep watch whilst we enjoyed a glass of wine. We are already talking about returning next year for a longer time. If you are thinking of booking this property I would have no hesitation in recommending it.

We had a lovely stay at Ruth's place. The cottage was easy to find and access. Parking was easy. Once inside, it felt cozy right away and we made ourselves at home - both my daughter and I settled into our rooms quickly then we went for an explore. Tideswell is lovely - nice shops and friendly people. The house's kitchen was well equipped, the bathroom was clean and of a good size, the rooms were clean, and the WiFi worked well. We had everything we needed for the time we were there and wish we could have stayed longer.

Rocking Stone Cottage - Idyllic Rural Retreat

EdwardRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We had a wonderful stay at Rocking Stone Cottage near Bakewell. The location was ideal and just a short drive to places like Chatsworth House and Haddon Hall, and right on the doorstep of the Peak District countryside. The cottage itself was beautifully kept, warm and welcoming, with spacious rooms and generous en-suites. It felt like a real home away from home. Rachael and Gerry were fantastic hosts. Rachael sent through lots of helpful information ahead of our visit, and every one of her recommendations hit the mark. One of the best things about Rocking Stone Cottage was how quickly we could get out into nature. Within minutes of leaving the front door, we were walking through open fields with sheep and cows, and could stroll from one village to the next across the peaks. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend both the cottage and the hosts - truly a special spot.

Tideswell, Peak District-Tidi’s Weall Cottage

ShonaRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Tidis Weall cottage was perfect for our stay as a family of 4. The location was fantastic....you can literally walk out from the cottage on to multiple footpaths for walks in the Dales. There are 3 or 4 lovely pubs in walking distance, we had a great meal at The Anchor Inn. The cottage was spotlessly clean, very easy to find, and the tea, coffee, milk and biscuits were very welcome. We really recommend this place and would love to return again.
