Here, you can still enjoy the wonderful tranquility and the beauty of the old village of Giethoorn. Unfortunately not suitable for infants/children from 0 to 8.

When you step out the door, you are immediately between the terraces and shops, walk another +/- 100m and you are at the Pikmeer where you will find options to rent a (sailing) boat. Apart from the sounds of birds, the rustling of the wind and in the distance a tractor, you hear nothing at all here. The sunsets can be amazingly beautiful here.

Relax in an oasis of greenery from spring to early autumn, a beautiful warm autumn feeling when the trees change color or seek coziness in the winter months. In the beautiful surroundings, there are many places to visit. Giethoorn, fortified town Steenwijk and the Havelterheide. Furthermore, there are three national parks nearby, NP Weerribben Wieden, the Drents Friese Wold and the Dwingelderveld.

In our yard is this beautiful newly built gypsy wagon! This pipo wagon has a new kitchen, a bed and a bathroom with shower and toilet. The Frisian forests are ideal for beautiful bike rides and walks. In addition, Drachten, Leeuwarden and Groningen are in the vicinity. The pipo wagon has a view over the countryside. There are several hiking trails and cycling routes that pass the plot, such as the Friese Wouden path and routes 51, 21 and 34.
