Beachfront vacation rentals in Eastern Province

Just the right location for our family trip. The rooms we quaint and comfortable. The staff, especially Sajith was excellent on site manger. He provided a varied and tasty breakfast and dinner with his staff. The beach was clean and rustic authenticity. Sun rise was spectacular. Choice of local food within east drive as well.

Super Nice Staff! Rasa, the manager is super nice and helpful. Even told us where to find the wild elephants and came with us to see them. His food was very nice as well! We were there in off-season so only 2/3 cabanas were occupied. But even in high season there is only a maximum of 30~ people there he told us. Located directly at the beach we could see the sunrise from our bed in the open cabana. Would definitely recommend!

Get back to the elements with legendary cooking and good vibrations, dwelling in high frequency purity. Very thank full to just know places like this still exist. Feels like coming "ohm". Wir fahren für zwei Tage bei Amanda. Wir bekamen einen Discount fürs Schnorcheln und sogar ein gratis Getränk und ein Dessert, weil meine Reisebegleitung Geburtstag hatte, das war wirklich sehr nett. Toll fanden wir auch, dass es gratis Trinkwasser gab und der Service sehr bemüht war. Außerdem war immer jemand vom Service ansprechbar und alle wirklich sehr hilfsbereit. Wir konnten direkt am Meer essen und trinken, super! Alles in allem eine gute Erfahrung und wir würden wiederkommen.

Hello! We are really happy to stay here in this beautiful paradise. Our host, Cassim is so loving and committed. He tries to do everything to make our stay as nice as possible. He wants us to be happy and feel well. This accommodation is really perfectly located. You are near to the town but still it is very peaceful here. Moreover you just have an one minute walk to get to the (private) beach, at least it feels like this because in the off season there are just very few people but most of the time you are alone on this beautiful beach at the ocean! So you can do a lot of stuff around this place. Besides here is a big garden, in which you can perfectly relax, make a little fire, do some workouts and more. The Wi-Fi connection is not the best, but Cassim tries to change that. The accommodation is fully equiped. Here is all you need. Otherwise you just have to ask him. He is new on Airbnb, so be patient ;) He tries his best! Thank you for this great stay! 😊 We will come back!🌞

This place was lovely, the decor and cleanliness was 5 star. The location to the beach and having a pool right outside was ideal for our family. Rooms are spacious, with the master bedroom having an ensuite too. The caretaker was helpful and polite checking in and out. The area is a good mix between being secluded and a short walk from a few restaurants and activities.

Sehr schönes sauberes Appartement in toller Lage zum Strand. Durch die Verwaltung durch eine Rezeption hatte man immer einen Ansprechpartner, Kay reagierte schnell auf unsere Nachrichten. Einziger Kritikpunkt sind die wenig vorhandenen Liegen am Pool. Das Appartement hatte eine super Aussicht auf das Meer.

Had a lovely stay in Trincomalee in this beautiful condo right on the beach within walkable distance to some restaurants via the beach. If you turn right and walk approximately 10 minutes you can reach salty dogs lovely little restaurant and if you turn left along beach your near pigeon island, highly recommended. Didn’t use the kitchen so can’t comment on that. Host is very responsive would definitely return

We stayed here for 6 nights at the end of a three week trip around Sri Lanka. It was a great way to end the trip, in a clean, air-conditioned and spacious apartment overlooking the sea. The setting is perfect - sunrise over the sea and picture postcard beach and palms in between. The apartment is part of a larger complex, but it never felt crowded and the pool and surrounding greenery were lovely. It’s clean, comfortable and spacious, perfect for a family. There are a few restaurants and amenities within walking distance but most stuff is either a hot walk or a tuk tuk ride away. It’s worth pointing out that if you’re planning to self-cater, there aren’t many grocery stores in the area and those that are there are sometimes sparsely provisioned. We tended to have breakfast in the apartment and then lunch and dinner locally. All in all, a fantastic base for a relaxing few days - we’d happily return and can equally happily recommend it.

Beautiful place. Very clean. The pools and beach are amazing. The restaurant on site is good and cheap. The wifi only seemed to work in the morning.

Après une semaine en vadrouille avec nos deux enfants de 11 et 7 ans dans le centre et le Nord du Sri Lanka, l'appartement de Thuraisingam était exactement ce qu'il nous fallait ! Un resort de très belle qualité, sur une plage absolument magnifique. L'appartement est fidèle aux photos, la literie est top, les salles de bain également. Je recommande totalement !

The apartment was beautiful! Spotless, with a beautiful view overlooking Nilaveli beach. The swimming pool was amazing, and the beach right ahead was BEAUTIFUL! We thoroughly enjoyed our short stay and would definitely recommend. Also there were lots of restaurants local- great seafood restaurants and Lankan style cuisine. My family had a lot of fun! 😌 would definitely come back if Im ever in the trinco area again!

Wir waren vorallem von dem Außenbereich positiv überrascht, dieser sah noch schöner aus als auf den Fotos und war sehr gepflegt. Besonders genossen haben wir den Pool und die Mitarbeiter vor Ort waren sehr hilfsbereit, freundlich und immer erreichbar.

Wir hatten einen schönen, wenn auch kurzen Aufenthalt. Die Unterkunft ist direkt am Strand und der Ausblick vom Balkon wunderschön.

We loved our stay here, it exceeded our already high expectations! The design of the house is very cool, it’s much bigger than it looks from the outside or photos. We loved the outside space and the breakfast. Having the access to the beach was so special. The housekeeper Kasruthi made us feel at home

lovely place and fantastic hosts with friendly and accommodating housekeeper. walking distance from many dive centres. a quiet and spacious space, quite unlike any regular housing you would find. but the quiet may come with some downside as it is a little further distance from many amenities and restaurants within the area. a great spot for quiet reprieve nonetheless

The Sayura Beach House was built between the river and the beach at the end of a small side road. On the ground floor there is one large bedroom with four beds, AC and attached bathroom. On the top floor there is one bedroom with a double bed and AC and an open balcony type area with four beds (with mosquito nets). These two rooms share a bathroom (toilet and sink) and a separate room with a shower. There is a third bedroom on the top floor with three beds (no AC) and attached bathroom. Bed sheets, blankets, soap and towels are provided. On the ground floor there is large open dining area with a big table to have the meals. Everything was clean. There is no WiFi and the showers have no hot water. The staff cooked us delicious meals with the groceries we provided. They were very helpful and attentive, also making us fresh tea whenever we asked for it. It's completely quiet there (no traffic). The beach is very close, one block away, you can see it from the top floor. There are beautiful sunrises over the sea and the sunset is also very scenic. The beach is clean and very long - perfect for a walk and maybe collect some shells. As we went in the offseason we could not swim but there were no other people at the beach - we had it all for ourselves. In the morning the fishermen pull in a huge net for catching fish, which is interesting to watch. We were a group of 13 people, including 5 kids, and all of us enjoyed our 3 days at the Sayura Beach House very much. Definitely a place worthwhile to visit again.

one of our family's best stays so far in any place. smt Malini was extremely proactive in communicating. the property is pristine and we felt exactly at home. smt Malini took the extra steps of calling us upfront (she doesn't have to) and also offered us useful recommendations on local pure vegetarian food. this place is excellent for families wanting to experience trincomalee. Thirukoneswaram temple is main reason why we visited trincomalee. the temple is close by. thanks much to the host and we will recommend this place to our friends.
