Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Easter Island

This was, by far, our best Airbnb stay so far. Céline is a wonderful host, Easter Island is amazing, and Hare Natura is perfect. Communication before arrival was great, and was equally good during our stay. The airport pickup and tour through town were fun and welcoming. The house itself was perfect for us (one couple and a friend). We ended up not doing a whole lot of cooking, but the kitchen would have been fine if we had. Everything was very clean and tidy, and quite comfortable for three. The porch is a great place to sit out a rain shower or just to stare at the sea, and the gardens around the house are very interesting. Céline herself is the perfect host - attentive and friendly while respecting privacy, and very helpful with recommendations of places to hike, swim, eat, etc. We also appreciated being able to rent a car when we wanted to, though we did enjoy the walk to town. If you are looking for a luxury hotel, this isn't it, but if you want to discover Rapa Nui on your own, from a comfortable, convenient, beautiful place, with friendly and helpful host, Hare Natura is ideal.

Great stay at Maohi’s place! The accommodation is tastefully decorated and very spacious. It had everything we needed and we also had the company of 3 very friendly neighbourhood dogs which was lovely. The house is in a relatively remote location, so would recommend having a car or a guide to bring you to and from the property in case of unpleasant weather. Highly recommend this accommodation to others travelling to Easter Island.

Great location. Walkable to town, swimming spot, and the moai sunset spot. Clean, spacious, and plenty of hot water. The cabin cools at night, even on hot days, so the inside temp is manageable with the one fan. All the windows have screens to keep out the buggies. A big jug of water is supplied. Bonus: the family also runs the store located at the front of the property for food and drink needs. Recommended.

mas alla que un perfecto alojamiento fue la amabilidad y la disposicion de Tuhi y su familia. son amorosos, compartimos alto y nos ayudaron a pasar 10 dias en la isla maravillosa. la isla es mas que los moais, hay gente muy simpaticos que quieren trasmitir la maravilla que es Rapa Nui. porfavor, a los futuros turistas, deben quedarse mas que 5 dias en la isla y compartie con la gente. es una isla maravillosa con gente unicos! gracias Tuhi y Gina, inolvidable momento con ustedes y su cultura. maururu

Precioso lugar para quedarse. El entorno lleno de naturaleza, el canto de los gallos, las aves por las mañanas, las flores, los arboles de plátanos, la tranquilidad en sí hicieron una estadía perfecta para nosotros. La cabaña es muy cómoda y Andres es un anfitrión excelente, preocupado, nos orientó, y desde el comienzo hubo comunicación fluida. Tambien existe otro anfitrión, que es de 4 patas, llamado chuleta, que por cierto iba todos los dias a saludar y a que jugaran con él 💖 Recomiendo totalmente este lugar!!! 💯 Gracias andres por ofrecer cabañas cómodas y un entorno lindo, tranquilo y rodeado de la naturaleza💖

Sin duda el mejor alojamiento en toda la isla. La cabaña es preciosa! No solo es amplia, limpia, perfectamente equipada y tan cercana al centro de Hanga Roa y al Aeropuerto que podrías ir caminando si quisieras sino que los anfitriones son maravillosos. Me han hecho sentir como si fuera un amigo de toda la vida y se han preocupado de mi bienestar desde el primer hasta el último día! Por cierto...Si estás pensando alquilar un vehículo o contratar un guía, habla primero con ellos.

Excelente precio-calidad-ubicación en Rapa Nui. Marcos y su esposa Jakeline fueron muy hospitalarios, cercanos y nos hicieron sentir como en casa. La cabaña es muy cómoda y por el precio definitivamente volvería. Ideal si les gusta caminar o de lo contrario, hay que saber arrendar auto o taxi para moverse desde la cabaña.

Excelente implementación del alojamiento, agua caliente en la ducha y WIFI estable con buena conexión. Recomendado 100%. Toda la implementación de muy buena calidad y con mucha dedicación, además en el mismo lugar puedes ver frutos y árboles con las principales frutas de la isla, espacio común de cocina muy bien ordenado y organizado. Ubicación perfecta para conocer del pueblo y toda la Isla, a 1 cuadra de la iglesia y cercana a las calles principales de Hanga Roa. Fácil acceso, movilización y conexión a lugares perfectos como playas principales PokoPoko y Playa Pea para ver tortugas. Atención de anfitriones muy preocupados en todo momento para dar recomendaciones, resolver dudas y consultas. Se recomienda.

Patricia’s place was perfect for our stay. Right at the end of the main street so walking anywhere in town was very easy. The space is perfect for a couple and enough in the kitchen to cook simple meals. The shower had good water pressure and hot water and there is an A/C in the bedroom upstairs which is appreciated because it gets very warm in the afternoon sun. Patricia was very helpful with information and arranging guided tours (which is the only way to see the main sites). She greeted us at the airport and took us back on our departure which was very appreciated. Don’t count on reliable cellular or Internet while on the island and you won’t be frustrated.

The location was great. Close to the coast, dive center, coffee and restaurants. The accommodation is quite basic and expect some bugs here and there. All in all, bed was comfy and it was all as expected. If you want a super luxurious spot you'll have to look further though. Oh and airport transfer was great too :)

What a wonderful place to visit! Wonderful place with all the necessary amenities. Loved the location close to the beach and the main “downtown” area. Very easy to get to anywhere on the island. Host was easily accessible and answered all our inquiries before arriving and was excellent on giving advice and recommendations while we were there. 100% would stay again

En plein cœur du centre ville c’était formidable! Et correspond complètement aux photos, il ne faut pas être trop exigeant c’est un des logements les moins cher de l’île et je suis bien contente de l’avoir trouvé car tout est très cher sur l’île, c’était très bien il y a tous les équipements nécessaires, une petite terrasse et en plein milieu de la rue commerçante! Je remercie Frede qui a été très aidant et amical durant le séjour

Todo cómodo y tranquilo! una buena estadía para elegir para sentirte como en casa!! Desde el primer momento de comunicación, Raquel te ayuda con datos para tours y actividades. Nos fueron a buscar al aeropuerto con collar de flores 🌺 lo cuál es de ensueño, también te van a dejar, eso lo hace perfecto. Raquel siempre al pendiente de lo que necesitabamos, muy simpática y nada que decir de los deliciosos jugos que nos daba por la mañana!! su esposo José muy tranquilo, siempre entregando una buena conversación y recomendaciones de la isla. Fue una estadía agradable, la cabaña tiene todo lo necesario para estar unos días en la isla, puedes cocinar perfectamente sin problemas, con sábanas y toallas limpias, solo debes llevar tu ropa 🤗 La cabaña se encuentra cerca del centro, puedes ir caminando sin problemas, si necesitas auto para moverte a anakena puedes arrendarle un auto a Raquel, los autos del centro están muchos más costosos a comparacion. Con gusto volveríamos a ir, maururu! 🤙

Carmen ha sido muy amable desde el principio hasta el final, se preocupa mucho del bienestar de sus huéspedes. Nos dejó entrar antes y hemos podido estar un poquito más hasta la llegada del taxi para irnos. Ha sido genial disponer de cocina dados los precios de la isla. El entorno es precioso y con mucha luz. Las camas son muy cómodas. La limpieza de las habitaciones es diaria.

The family team of Avi and Miti were friendly and responsive hosts. They transported me to and from the airport, and welcomed me there with a fresh, fragrant lei. They also helped me book an excellent, local park guide. The cabana has a stunning view of both moai and open ocean from the wide upstairs deck. Five minute walk to many in-town restaurants...it really is a special spot. If Rapa Nui/Easter Island is on your bucket list, these cabanas will make your vist to this remote isle even more memorable.
