Vacation rentals with a fireplace in East Palo Alto

We loved our stay! The location was ideal for us, just a few minutes from a beautiful redwoods park and a short drive to the coast. This part of California is tucked away from the busy crowds of the Bay Area and feels remote. The Loma Mar outpost offers basic provisions and a restaurant a few minutes from the house, and Pescadero has a strip of shops and restaurants about ten minutes away. The house is lovely and comfortable, very peaceful.

I was visiting Stanford , this was very close to campus . The place checked all our boxes . Would stay here again .

Sara and Nic were gracious and very responsive hosts. Their home is spacious, clean, comfortable, and suited our needs perfectly. The outdoor space also looked wonderful but we didn't use it much because our visit was during winter.

This was a great little spot near San Jose / San Francisco. Very private and quiet. The house was nice and clean and had many amenities that most hosts don't provide. Belle was a joy to rent from. I never had to worry about anything in the house and we had great communication throughout. Highly recommend if you are looking for a quiet and cozy place near San Francisco.

This is a beautiful home nestled in the heart of Palo Alto suburbs - located close to the town and university. A wonderful new constructed modern home with all the amenities of a high end home. The hosts are simply perfect and we had a wonderful 3 nights with our family and lived ones. Loved the triple glass open doors to the sanctuary back yard and fire pit in cool nights. A winner pick!

Pros • Mike was super communicative and responsive. He brought us extra towels. • Location, location, location - in walking distance to shops, grocery, and Bay shoreline. Super cute neighborhood. • Quiet neighborhood with a parking spot. • Clean as a whistle. • All the amenities, bbq, outdoor patio. Keurig, etc. Coin op laundry came in handy. Cons: • Old style, could use some updating. 🤗

Beautiful place in a perfect location especially great during the summer. My family of four stayed there quite easily and the kitchenette was a pleasant surprise. We could actually get a number of meals cooked in there. There is a little bit of a sound proofing issue so make sure to be on the quieter side but probably the best deal in SF for summer!

We really enjoyed our stay here. It feels like home away from home and had everything you could possibly want for a SF vacation. We really appreciated Anthony’s flexibility on our check-in and check-out and the facilities that were available at the home. Our family would come back here any day. The home has so much character, charm, warmth and is so cozy. We had a hectic travel schedule but always caught up on great sleep as the beds are so comfortable. Thank you for the enjoyable stay!

Over the past few years I’ve stayed at many Airbnbs, but Renzo’s place truly stands out. It’s a perfect, top-tier experience from start to finish. The stylish interiors, modern appliances, and thoughtful design reflect a beautifully renovated space. What really impressed me, though, was Renzo’s hospitality: the little touches and personalized care made me feel genuinely welcomed. I love staying at this spot in sf. Super convenient to a lot of locations, the place is always clean and well made/comfortable and the hosts are incredibly kind. Definitely a repeat spot for me.

Terry’s place was excellent. Exactly as described. Appliances all worked well. Our family loved the walkability of the location, with several shops within a couple blocks. Beautiful park with playground just across the street. Perhaps most of all though, Terry kept the check-in and checkout instructions very simple and made it extremely easy for us to get in and depart quickly. We very much enjoyed our stay.

Beautiful neighborhood. Many walkable trails and parks with access to the Bay Trail. House is large and comfortable (great beds) and spotlessly clean. Large private backyard and very close to the tennis/pickle ball courts and pool. Only complaint is that the kitchen was not well stocked for our two week stay. We needed to borrow cooking implements and equipment from our son who lives in the area. But overall, a wonderful property and would not hesitate to return.

This was a great escape in Oakland! Every guest had their own bathroom and the kitchen/living room space was so spacious.

Beautiful place to stay.

The best part of this place was the room in the back. It really was like an Executive Director suite. So of course my ED took advantage and took the room for himself. lol. We appreciate the extra blankets and we each had our own room.

Can't wait to go back, even though we live in the same town! We had to find a place quickly because we had some damage at our home and Laurie and Bradley were so accommodating and flexible. The property is gorgeous! And I can't say enough about the showers. Every piece of furniture was so comfortable, including the beds (and I am very picky when it comes to beds). The view was spectacular. Besides the incredible amenities, Laurie and Bradley were such incredible hosts and were very easy to reach and super responsive to the many requests we had to extend our stay. I highly recommend their house.
