A warm welcome awaits at The Birks, a charming cottage set in the countryside, 1 mile from the A199, 2 miles from the historic market town of Haddington and close to Scotland's Golf Coast, the Lammermuirs and Edinburgh (20 mins by car or train, 40 by bus). Our bright and spacious bedroom accommodates 2 guests in a king size or twin bed arrangement. (There is a second bedroom (double bed), available at an additional charge.) There is a large and pretty private garden and on site parking.

King-size bedroom with sitting/single room adjacent (futon which converts to single bed). TV in both rooms. Small shower-room. Tea & coffee. Microwave, fridge and toaster. Own front door. Outdoor patio/deck space ideal for a sundowner. 15 minute walk downhill (obviously uphill to get back!) to lovely high street and beach. Lots of bars and restaurants. 10 minute walk to train station, only 35 minutes to Edinburgh. Parking at property.

Please note - This room is shared with another guest room and it is possible it could be occupied. Bedroom with a slightly smaller than a double bed. Small room but well formed! There is a shared bathroom with one other guest room only. Breakfast of breads, cereals, spreads etc. available in dining room. Friendly place to stay whilst sight seeing in Edinburgh, East Lothian and surrounding areas or use as a base for Glasgow, Stirling, etc.
