Vacation rentals with a fireplace in East Haddam

The natural setting surrounding the house is lovely and private. The house itself was spotlessly clean and very well stocked with linens, towels, and kitchen tools and supplies. The beds are very comfortable and it's quiet for sleeping. We spent most of our time in the all-glass kitchen, which despite so-so weather felt like we were outside when inside - really special room. Chris was very easy to reach and communicative for anything we needed. We enjoyed a wonderful extended family weekend and would stay again!

We came to Norfolk for a show at the Infinity Music Hall. This house was a perfect landing spot to cook dinner before and relax after the show. It was so peaceful watching the snow fall from inside and the kitchen was perfectly stocked with everything we needed to cook. The appliances were top notch, the house was well decorated and we will definitely rent here again!

This house is in a quiet safe neighborhood, 30 mins from Montauk Beach and half the cost for 5 guests. Overall we loved it! The host recommended restaurants which is helpful. When we-reported a problem, someone was there to fix it the next morning. Kitchen well stocked, plenty of outdoor seating, comfy couches. Strange full bathroom cotton curtains a bit long and no liner, difficult to dry. The bath off the master bedroom the floor floods because curtain in there is lined but a bit short. Gotta keep a towel down. Garage is wonderful, laundry in basement handy. Decks off bedroom and patio off dining room both lovely. are beautiful lovely place to stay.

What a lovely place! Kitchen was a pleasure to use. Location was great for wineries and Greenport restaurants/bars. Spacious.

The Farmhouse was very cozy and clean. Communication was great and Chelsea was very accommodating, as I was traveling with two small children and the schedules can be tricky. The property was beautiful and the house had everything we needed. The only thing that could be improved would be curtains in the bedrooms. As soon as the sun came up you are up. Very bright. But overall I would stay here again.

Had an awesome stay while visiting family for the week! Daryl made it very easy to choose the place. Everything was very detailed and just as described! The fireplace was very comforting during my chilly stay. Will definitely be booking the place again in the future!

This is the second time time we've stayed at Carol's place. It's spacious, comfortable, with plenty of open rooms. The kitchen is extremely well stocked. This is becoming our yearly must-stay place!

Absolutely pristine, it offered a perfect blend of comfort and beauty. It is clear that the property is meticulously maintained, spotless, elegant, and comfortable. The beds were comfortable, and every amenity was provided. The best part is the area! WOW. We walked into Mystic at least twice a day and had lovely morning strolls along the water. The back deck is perfect for coffee and pm cocktails. I highly recommend it. We'll be back.

I had a wonderful stay at Katie's place in West Hartford! The apartment was spacious and had everything we needed for a comfortable visit. It was spotless and well-maintained, making it a great place to relax after a day of exploring. The location was perfect—close to the town with plenty of shops, restaurants, and parks nearby. Check-in was a breeze, and Katie was incredibly responsive, making the whole experience seamless. I would absolutely love to stay again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area!

The location and comfort can’t be beat. We stayed at the professor’s flat for a full semester while I was teaching at Yale and it was perfect for a couple and a cat. We even had a couple of friends visit and stay over comfortably during that time. We truly lived in the place like it was our home, because it felt like it: it was cozy, and despite a smaller kitchen than we’re used to, it was well equipped, and we were able to cook a lot and even host dinner parties. It’s very conveniently located to everything in New Haven/the East Rock neighborhood & we walked everywhere. Also very convenient to the freeway. A parking spot was included in our rent as well. Remy, Hilary and Sal were always responsive and ready to take care of anything that needed attention. Remy also gave us and all the tenants extras like baked goods, and samples of her great Italian cooking on occasion (around the holidays). They also gave us fire logs for the fireplace we used our entire last month in town.

A very nice place to relax. My reason was because of work in the area. But I was delighted with the place. 100% recommended.

This is my 3rd stay here. I sometimes come on my own to visit my daughter at Yamaha and I pay extra per night to stay at this comfy relaxing spot so I feel at home. I have private parking, easy entry, close to downtown Yale shopping and minutes from raved Whooster Villlage. Don’t be hesitate because it is on the corner of the busy street, it allows for spreading out of family and each bedroom with own bathroom/TV sitting area. The upstairs room can get warm but use the AC unit in room and it is cool in no time! This will be my home away from home for my daughter’s next 3 years at UNH. My only suggestion is the main floor bedroom does not have King size bed but the room Itself is gorgeous! Enjoy and highly recommend this spot!

Our Christmas stay at Janice’s was perfect! My partner and I needed a place to stay while visiting family for holidays. The suite was very clean and cozy. We really enjoyed the not one but TWO gas fireplaces! Janice also had a small artificial Christmas tree in the living room which made it so festive and the perfect place for us to rest and watch Christmas movies after days with family. The bed was comfortable and had four pillows with extras in the closet along with extra blankets, an iron and board. Janice was flexible with our check in time and very friendly. The only negative we could think of was that we’d love to have a full kitchen and the suite just has a kitchenette with mini fridge, microwave and toaster oven, but we knew that from the description and it was fine for a short stay. We’d love to stay here again. Really perfect for this trip.

My stay was AMAZING! You can really see and feel how the host took time to make the home cozy and beautifully detailed. It was mind blowing to see how every part of the home was utilized without feeling cramped or cluttered. Definitely a great place for friends to come together. I was shocked to see how well the entire home was fully stocked with everything you could possibly need. The host provided superb comfort and convenience. Pictures do no justice for this zen home, you have to experience it in person. If you’re looking for a tranquil and beautiful place to visit; LOOK NO FURTHER!

My wife and I absolutely loved this cottage. It far exceeded our expectations. I felt so much at home, I almost went out and picked up the mail!There were so many supplies in the kitchen, a thoughtfully laid out living room and bedroom, a heavenly soaking tub in the bathroom, and serene surroundings. Everything was thought of from tasteful decor to plenty of firewood for the wood-burning fireplace and even an unopened toothbrush and other toiletries in the bathroom (including 2-ply!! ) It raised my standard for future rentals. We are lucky enough to travel several times a year. When we do, we almost exclusively stay at Airbnb‘s. This one was by far the most comfortable we’ve stayed at in many years. We had a wonderful stay!! The lock was stuck upon check-in but the host called us (it was the middle of the night) and walked us through getting it open. She was so friendly and helpful! The place itself was perfect. Great kitchen, sleeping areas, clean and wonderfully decorated. Even with the lock issue, this was a 5 star stay and we have absolutely no complaints. We had 3 people and we felt like we had plenty of room. It’s also right down the street from the Mohegan Sun!!! So perfect place to stay if you want to visit the resort. You can’t get a better location. Also very quiet area.

The space was wonderful for my partner and I for a weekend getaway. We had an event in New London and we appreciated that Ada’s Villa was only 20 minutes away! The space was clean, the bed was comfortable, and the amenities were exactly as listed. Would absolutely stay there again!

Our family had a very enjoyable stay! The home and surroundings were beautiful, everything was extremely clean and organized, our host was wonderful! We absolutely loved the tea ceremony! It was very educational! We will definitely stay here again when we return to New Haven!

I rented this home to accommodate my family of 6 over Christmas. Beautiful home and very comfortable beds, high quality linens and lots of space. I could tell the house was very well set up for summer guests too with plenty of outdoor gathering areas.

We had a lovely stay this April. House was spotless and newly refurbished. Pool area great (early in season so braved a cold plunge!!!) and appreciated the separate hot tub too. Pool furniture all brand new and special mention of the best kitted out games room I have ever seen! Location great. Very quiet but short car ride to East Hampton proper. Sammi’s beach a 10 min walk away. A fantastic stay and would not hesitate to recommend to others.

Great place to stay for golf and casino fun. Exceptional accommodations, neat, clean and comfortable. It has everything you need for a great stay. If you are staying for golf, the course is right outside the window. If you are staying for the casinos Mohegan is a 3 min drive away. If you just want a weekend get away, nothing beats staying on the grounds of a full spa. Highly recommend this location.
