Waterfront vacation rentals in East Flanders

Oskar ist ein extrem netter und zuvorkommender Gastgeber. Er hat einen extrem lieben Hund, der immer auf einem wartet, wenn man nach Hause kommt. Die Wohnung selbst ist sehr schön. Sauberkeit war in Ordnung. Zum Zentrum gelangt man in 10-15 Minuten.

Appartement très chaleureux et confortable, parfaitement conforme aux photos avec une vue très agréable sur l'eau. Quartier très paisible. L'appartement se trouve à distance de marche du centre-ville ce qui permet de laisser la voiture au garage. Sien est un hôte réactif et très à l'écoute qui propose de nombreuses recommandations (restaurants + visites) qui étaient systématiquement de bons conseils! Nous recommandons les yeux fermés.

A superb loft conversion in an old industrial building beside the canal. Plenty of free parking, lift to the first floor. Spacious and elegant accommodation with a generously equipped kitchen and a splendid walk-in shower and separate toilet. Large raised dining area, comfortable lounge with flat-screen TV, stairs to the mezzanine double bedroom. Efficient heating and good wifi. Ten minutes on foot to a tram stop, twenty minutes to a large supermarket. Excellent communication with the owner throughout. An outstanding property which I recommend without reservation and one to which we would happily return.

Amazing apartment!!! Very nice views and incredible location, just a few minutes walk to all main attractions in Gent! Right on the canal, and with a beautiful kitchen and light! We loved it there and would highly recommend the place. Peter was very communicative all the time and helped us through our visit! Totally recommendable!

Na een wijziging van Sophie haar andere appartement naar deze waren wij positief verrast. Dit appartement was superleuk en van alles wat je nodig hebt voorzien. Het is een klein beetje gek dat je door de gang van de noodlezaak heen moet om bij de trap richting het appartement te komen, maar eenmaal boven merk je niks van de zaak. Vanaf het appartement is het een leuke wandeling naar het centrum en de straat is savonds rustig, maar voelt veilig. Sophie was heel aardig en dacht mee als wij vragen hadden. Wij hebben het heel erg naar ons zin gehad in Ghent.

we stayed at Remi's together with 4 friends. it was a great stay, we had everything we needed. the terrace was a plus. he has been extremely well in terms of communication. can only recommend.

We had a wonderful stay here. The apartment overlooks a canal and is very close to the city center.All the sights are within walking distance. It is super clean and spacious. There are lots of restaurants in the area. Highly recommended!

It was a fantastic stay! The penthouse had more than I expected I was so pleased and impressed and Eduardo responded to my messages so quickly and efficiently. The view was great and yet the place offered privacy as well….I would definitely stay there again when traveling to Gent. One more thing, Eduardo’s instructions are so clear that if you watch his video and read his messages most of your questions are immediately answered 👌 so don’t skip.

Wir hatten eine sehr schöne Zeit über ein langes Wochenende mit mehreren Generationen. Super schönes Haus mit tollem Garten. Wir hatten Regen und Sonnenschein und beides ist gleichermaßen schön! Wenn man es gemütlich mag, schmeißt man einfach den Kamin an. Die unmittelbare Gegend ist super für schöne Spaziergänge. Ein Mini Supermarkt ist 7 min fußläufig entfernt, hier gibt es richtig leckere Schokocroissants 🤗. Dem Haus mangelt es an nichts und es ist super gemütlich und perfekt aufgeteilt. Wir kommen gern wieder!

Wir haben in dem Haus von Bart&Eefje, zu siebt eine schöne Zeit gehabt. Es war ausreichend Platz, alles so wie angegeben und der Blick von der Terrasse ist unschlagbar. Unsere Ankunft hatte sich leider stark verzögert aber das war kein Problem. Die Kommunikation war immer super hilfreich und sehr freundlich! Nach dem Ankommen, haben wir Bart kurz kennen gelernt und uns direkt wohl und willkommen gefühlt. Die großen Städte sind gut erreichbar mit dem Auto und man ist schnell in der Natur. Sehr zu empfehlen für eine schöne Auszeit mit Freunden oder Familie! Wir kommen gerne wieder!:)

Der Aufenthalt war wirklich toll. Schon die nette Willkommensnachricht hat uns zum Lächeln gebracht. Der Ausblick auf den See ist traumhaft. Der Garten ist eingezäunt, was super ist, denn wir hatten einen Hund dabei. Es gab sogar extra Handtücher für die Hundepfoten. Also auch hier wurde total liebevoll mitgedacht. In der Unterkunft war alles was man brauchte und es war vor allem alles sauber. Das Bett war absolut bequem. Das Bad oben ist zum Schlafzimmer hin offen, das sollte man wissen. Also es gibt keine Tür. Uns hat das aber nicht gestört, denn ist gibt unten auch eine Toilette mit Tür ;-) Rundum können wir diese Unterkunft absolut empfehlen und sagen vielen Dank für den tollen Aufenthalt :-)

Ria is a very friendly host, super responsive and helpful. Her place is a great choice for people looking to reconnect with nature and slow down. The apartment has an outstanding design. My favourite was the bathroom. There are numerous walking and biking routes available, as well as nice restaurants in nearby towns. Highly recommend!

затишна оселя, тихе спокійне місце з усіма зручностями, дуже привітний господар, близько до центру, звікна видно головну церкву міста.

Spacious, comfortable, clean, tidy and well equipped. Rural location and pretty. We loved it. Would stay again anytime. Thank you!

We hebben 3 hele fijne dagen gehad voor ons meiden weekendje! Ruime woning, alles wat je nodig hebt is aanwezig en de pony’s, ezels en kraanvogels(?) om het huis heen, maakten het net dat beetje extra speciaal!

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans cette ravissante petite maison, parfaitement équipée et décorée avec beaucoup de goût (les photos de l'annonce sont très fidèles). Le jardin est un vrai plus. L'emplacement permet de belles balades à pied entre digue et forêt, et il est idéal pour vadrouiller entre Anvers et Gand. Katja est une hôtesse sympathique et investie qui se soucie vraiment du bien-être des vacanciers, la communication était très fluide, toutes nos questions ont eu une réponse quasi immédiate. Merci pour tout et peut-être à une prochaine fois (on garde l'adresse précieusement ☺️) !

Davy was een goede gastheer en heeft persoonlijk de sleutel overhandigd. Het appartement was schoon, afstand naar het centrum goed te lopen en alles wat nodig was binnen hand bereik.

We spent a long weekend in Bert's charming flat. The location is excellent, most of the sights are within walking distance. There are also great cafes, restaurants and shops around the corner. The balcony overlooking the Leie is very nice. The flat is stylishly furnished and has everything you need. Bert was very communicative and friendly.

Laura ist eine tolle Gastgeberin. Alles top, Unterkunft super sauber und gepflegt. Organisation einwandfrei. Schöner Aufenthalt in einer ruhigen Gegend und trotzdem alles gut zu Fuß erreichbar. Wir kommen gerne wieder bei Laura unter.

Séjour parfait chez BOB. Mini problème pour le check in mais BOB est très arrangeant et est venu nous déposer les clés là ou il fallait. Peut etre qu'une boite à clé serait le top pour rendre le séjour PARFAIT. On retournera chez BOB !

We hebben hier 2 nachtjes overnacht. Zeer veel lichtinval door de vele ramen, dat vonden we fijn. Nadeel was wel dat er alleen in de slaapkamer & badkamer rolgordijnen waren, maar hier hadden wij geen probleem mee. Leuke locatie, vlak bij een park en plek aan het water om te zitten. Het is een rustige buurt, het enigste geluid dat je ‘s nachts hoort, is het water :)

Reservé este alojamiento para mi hija y sus dos compañeros de Erasmus; los tres con 18 años. Espero y confío en que hayan dejado recogido el apartamento. Aproveché la ocasión para hacer una escapada a Bélgica, país que no conocía; visité el apartamento, es fiel a la descripción. Tenía todo lo necesario para pasar una buena estancia, muy completo en cuanto a menaje y electrodomésticos y más, tratándose de gente joven; tiene una "AirFryer" cosa que me sorprendió y me pareció estupendo y muy cómodo para ellos. El único ruido que podía ser molesto, era el del tranvía pero también, resultaba muy cómodo tenerlo en la puerta de casa. Además, por la noche, no circula. Me pareció muy bien todo; el anfitrión muy comunicativo y dispuesto a colaborar en el bienestar de los alojados; le pedí 3 llaves para que tuviera cada uno de ellos y no hubo ningún problema: todo lo contratio, muy atento y servicial. No me queda más que agradecerle su confianza depositada en mi reserva por ser gente joven.

We had a marvellous time in Alex’s apartment! It’s even nicer than the photos :) It had everything we needed for a short stay and was warm and inviting as well as spotlessly clean. The weather wasn’t great but we still managed to sit for a while on the balcony which was great. We took Ubers everywhere but there is a bus stop outside too or you could cycle into town. Would highly recommend Alex’s apartment and him as a host. Our only criticism is the ( we think) late check in of 5pm. Alex was however happy to take our luggage from 1pm. Thanks Alex :)

Nous avons beaucoup apprécié le séjour passé chez Dieter ! C’était très simple à trouver. Le logement était très bien équipé : lits faits à l’arrivée, un fond d’épicerie pour bien commencer le séjour et pleins de belles attentions de la part de Dieter. On sent que c’est un vrai plaisird’accueillir et de partager ce qu'il y a à faire à Gant ! Le logement est à 10min du centre ! on recommande vivement !
