Private suite vacation rentals in East Devon District

It was a little peace of heaven, the cottage (inside and outside) looks like it's out a story book. The cottage was spotless, enough space for a family, the kitchen was big enough and equipped to cook easy meals, we were served croissants for breakfast (lovely touch). There's a working fireplace and wood is provided. I would love to back there anytime.

Perfect Airbnb. Ruth was quick and helpful with communications and her place is clean, modern, comfortable with everything I needed. Great location, very private and a short walk to the shops and to the seafront, with the convenience of free off-street parking right outside. Thank you Ruth!

The garDEN studio is a little gem, it's easily the best place we have stayed in for a long time. The studio is spotlessly clean and has everything you need. It's a comfortable, well designed with high quality fixtures and fittings. The decking is peaceful and private with a great view and you are welcome to wander in Theresa and Simon's beautiful garden. Theresa and Simon make you feel very welcome and they are very easy to communicate with. There are lots of little touches and extras in the garDEN studio that make your stay very comfortable. Private parking in Dartmouth is rare and the walk into town easy. We were sad to leave this studio but I feel sure we will return in the future.

We had a wonderful stay at Hilary and Graham’s annex with our baby, and it couldn’t have been more perfect. From the moment we arrived, they welcomed us so warmly and made sure we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The annex was spotless, peaceful, and completely private—ideal for us as new parents. Hilary and Graham were incredibly kind and helpful throughout, always checking in to make sure we were okay, without ever being intrusive. Their thoughtful touches and genuine hospitality made a big difference. A lovely place hosted by truly lovely people—we’d love to come back!

Such an amazing place in a beautiful tranquil village location. Sally's place is so well equipped that you could live there. We used the local shop and pub at Sally's recommendation which were both great and would revisit the idea area again. Sally was quick to respond when I had to message her. We found Sally and Bob to be excellent hosts. Thank you to both.

Great location within easy walking distance of south coast path to visit Seatown and Charmouth. Spotlessly clean and well equipped. Ideal for a short break. Louise very kindly provided lots of local recommendations too.

Richard and Mo were great hosts and provided us with all the information required to meet our expectations. Richard met us on arrival and it was lovely to have the basics for breakfast provided for each morning, which was an added surprise and very welcomed. This facility was perfect for my wife as she has mobility issues, and the Airbnb is all on one level with walk-in shower, so made moving around was made so much easier. We would highly recommend staying here, and will look to rebook for our next visit to Devon.

Perfect. Comfortable and Morden with everything you need. I took a 5 minute drive into West Bay which was stunning and has a long costal walk with some great places to eat. The bed was really comfortable and the place was private and cosy. I would definitely book to come here again if I’m in the area and would recommend it

Really enjoyed our stay accommodation was very comfortable with lots of additional extras Really enjoyed location, and watching the cows in the field opposite and the swans in the river . We had a really relaxing break at this beautiful airbnb. The property was immaculate, light and airy, tastefully decorated and we loved the outside patio area too. It was really well equipped and very comfortable. There is so much to do within a short drive and we would love to stay again.

The space was just as we expected, everything you need was there, and very cleverly arranged too. Access to the outside space was lovely and a real bonus once our toddler had gone to bed. A great location for the beach and handy to have a parking space. Just what we needed and we wish we’d stayed a bit longer!

We echo all the reviews that have given Nel’s place 5 stars! We were on a tight schedule of visits around the country, but both agreed we’d would’ve happily stayed longer and just enjoyed the cosy accommodation and peaceful surroundings. We’re thinking of downsizing our family home and the design/layout of this delightful apartment gave us ideas for maximising a smaller space. Everything was spotless, the living room sofa and armchair were perfect for us, bed was super comfy, kitchen has everything needed and the whole place was light and airy. Absolutely loved our stay at the Pitstop, Laura was a great host, sent links with info for activities, told us the nearest pubs, beaches ect. The pitstop was beautifully clean and had everything you need for the stay. We highly recommend the Pitstop. For breakfast you can't go wrong with Jacquie's cafe just down the road, super friendly and welcoming. Excellent food at the Waterside Inn pub but make sure you book as it gets very busy, if you do get stuck Jades Chinese Takeaway across the road also comes with our high recommendation. Absolutely perfect break from dad to day life, thank you so much Laura and Joni!

The room at James cottage is great! Really beautiful furnished, very clean and cozy. Everything was perfect! Thank you for having us! Their garden is marvellous and they prepare a good breakfast.

Great accommodation Hosts provided very simple and straightforward directions and communication was friendly and caring whilst respecting privacy .

Gorgeous place with everything you'd want to have a cute little weekend away!! hot tub was set up so all we had to do was pull back the cover and hop right in. Kitchen had everything needed to cook whatever meals you fancy. Just a 2 minute walk away from the local and less than a 10 minute drive out to the moors.. perfect!!

It was an absolute pleasure to stay at Barabara’s gorgeous house. I would recommend to anyone visiting Devon to stay here. Communication & how we were made feel welcome was hugely appreciated. Thank you very much for having us!

Beautiful location and fantastic host. The apartment was clean, spacious and perfect for relaxing and enjoying the views. The hot tub was very much welcomed after a long day of exploring. We will be back to visit Sarah and the Tree-top again!

Loved my stay here. The garden room has been planned out so well & feels spacious but cosy even though it’s a small space. I loved having French doors to open in the evening. I slept really well and enjoyed the shower. Really convenient for me as well.

Our stay at The Chapel was perfect. We checked in a bit earlier and were welcomed by warm, homemade bread!! The main bed is super comfy and my 14 yr old boy slept soundly in the single. The place was warm and welcoming with a spacious bathroom. The Chapel is really well soundproofed too. So quiet even though it was windy. Dartmoor Prison is on the same street but it’s empty!! Added some atmosphere for us, which we liked! So close to the moors. We drive 50 minutes to Haldon Forest and same distance for quad biking.

A beautiful quiet peace of paradise. The place is a small well appointed annex next to the hosts house. It was a great place to spend two peaceful nights in the company of the birds and sheep. The views were amazing and a lovely cafe at Weir Quay within walking distance. We went to the pub at Bere Ferrers - a 30 min walk up and down some hills. We didn’t meet any cars along the way and it was safe to walk. Thanks so much Chris and Xuella x
