The place is exactly as shown in the pictures. Riddhi is an amazing person and a very responsive host. Makes you feel right at home. They had 4 dogs and kunwar singh was the best :)❤️ Shagun and Riddhi have worked very hard to make this place unique and lovely. It felt like a peaceful adventure trip.

It's a clean and beautiful place to stay. I went to a convenience store one night and received a text like "If the convenience store is closed, you can also go to CU". It was so nice that you were kind and helpful.

I like the serenity, the decor, the hospitality, clean, spacious. Most importantly, friendly to dogs and cats. Khun Bee and his family were very welcoming. It felt like a home away from home. The cat stopped slipping out of the room. Everyone was very nice. They were able to find it in a very early time. If you have to go back to Phayao again, you will want to go back and stay in the same place. I would recommend it for a group of friends or family with family as our favorite. A quiet and relaxing place, with an enchanting garden filled with birds and butterflies. We spent 4 very pleasant nights there. We really enjoyed the meals on the terrace. The host is very considerate, she left lots of small touches (kimchi in the fridge, books and mosquito repellent special for children...) The only criticism: it lacked some comfortable mattresses and the water is not very hot. But we still want to come back again.

The place was as described. Interiors had interesting nooks and was quite comfortable. Approach to the place has a slight complication with the big car to small car switch, but enough advice and support was provided to overcome it. Neighbourhood’s alright, just make sure you are good to walk up inclines and flights of stairs if you are exploring it on foot (we had elderly folks with us, they struggled a fair bit). Of course, what made the place stand out was Kaushal and his Team of Kapil and Raju. Very accommodating and friendly, and quick to help resolve a query or requirement. Even the people they recommend to you (cab drivers and such) were extremely kind and helpful, which just goes to show that they do care about your experience beyond their villa. Overall a very satisfying stay, and would be happy to recommend Forktail to others.

I spent a happy time in a picturesque Hwangto House in a location where only Gangjin is down. Even in hot weather, the room was cool and cozy, so I slept well before heading out. The smell of green tea boiled by the host's homegrown tea was also the best. Thank you.

A very special stay in a peaceful farm with a wonderful, local host family. We loved the intentionality of the spaces, the communication w the host (local family can use Google translate), and how well they accommodated our food allergies and requests. For those w different abilities - Lots of stairs and very bumpy road coming in! Not a place to do remote work w limited service/wifi but a great place for retreating! We would definitely come back and recommend for those looking for a peaceful stay.

Good place to stay if you want to experience Korean traditional house. Kitchen is rather small but good enough for us to cook simple dinner. 미자 is also very responsive and proactive in recommending us places to visit and restaurants to try.

Positives 1. The property is very well maintained, serene and peaceful, a perfect weekend getaway 2. I loved the individual choices of a few items in the room, specially the first floor of Villa 1 3. Accessibility is brilliant with ample car parking facility and very spacious 4. My family and my pet enjoyed thoroughly walking on the grass lawn 5. Generator and power back up was quite nice Possible things to improve 1. While I understand the rationale of employing natives it is pertinent they understand Bengali quite clearly. 2. There was no TV in either of the rooms in Villa 1 3. Flexibility ( may be due to seasonality ) was quite low on the food menu 4. An Intercom facility would be great to have considering the charges.

Suthep is a friendly, knowledgeable, and very likeable host. We enjoyed cooking meals together and talking about self-sustaining lifestyles. He chooses to model a way of living that other people can emulate, and I find it inspiring. He was very generous with his time and we shared some good experiences as he showed me the local markets and then took me to a nearby gym which wasn't on the map. I recommend Suthep's place if you want a peaceful setting where you can share meals and think about living a life of consciousness and humility.

This place is a true getaway. A little hard to find on your own or with a taxi driver unfamiliar with the area but Ashish helped us find a local driver who got us there no problem, and Ashish was there personally to help us check in. We were three adults and four kids (8, 9, 10, 14) and had plenty of space for sleeping. Nepali style mattresses were relatively comfy. Kids enjoyed picking and eating mulberries. That tree also brought a multitude of different birds which was a real treat. Kitchen well stocked but bring your own groceries if you want to cook, as there aren’t many nearby stores. Breakfast is included, for which Ashish gives you lots of options, and if you don’t want to cook there is great momos and dal baht at the Kotdanda Valley View Restaurant, just a five minute walk away. The glass house, or solarium, was a favorite space for the kids to play and imagine. It’s also where they slept, with an amazing view of the city lights below. We had a wonderful time!

The stay is amazing. The view from our room is surreal. You will be able to enjoy snow covered peaks and stars from the rooftop. Padma aunty made delicious home cooked food for us. Aman is a very responsive host. He also gave us great tips on the route to the location. Overall we enjoyed our stay.
