Treehouse vacation rentals in East Africa

The place was absolutely beautiful. Very tranquility was exactly what I needed. Anne and her husband were very accommodating and kind hosts. The recommendations of sites to visit around was thoughtful and informative. I look forward to coming back here soon :)

The lodge is right on the lake with greenery surrounding and some tortoises and rabbits running around. The pictures don’t do this place justice. You just have to be there. The place has an antique vibe. You wake up to the beautiful view of the lake and sounds of the birds. You can kayak, swim, feed fish or rent out a boat out into the lake either sundowner or during the day or they organise for you to see other lakes (Green crater lake). The staff are extremely helpful and polite. They give local recommendations, especially as I was travelling alone they made sure I was safe especially in moving around. I want to extend my utmost gratitude to the team. I felt right at home. Thank you so much!! Highly highly recommend. Book it don’t even think about it, it’s one of the best spots on the lake.

Serene and beautiful escape from the city and town. Ideal for just relaxing with a good book and resetting. Lovely nature and birds all around. Walking trial with the river only a couple of meters walk from the cabin. The road is a bit rough and the road works to get to the destination is a bit of a pain. I am sure once the road is fixed it will be an easy and smooth drive though.

Yannick and her husband welcomed us in the best possible way. Their house is fantastic and our tree house in their garden was very cosy. We felt like at home, they were lovely with us. breakfast was delicious. I strongly reccomend to stay at their place. you will live an unforgettable experience!

Had a breathtakingly amazing stay at Sabrina’s property. It’s the perfect getaway for couples looking to escape the hustle and bustle of Joburg. The property itself is gorgeous and the nature everywhere absolutely elevated the experience. My partner & I easily rate this place a solid 10/10; I lowkey wanted to gatekeep it cause it’s so stellar however it wouldn’t be fair to others. Sabrina, once again thank you.

We were there to film sharks for a documentary. If you like to scuba, totally recommend this as a place to stay. Dive from the Malongane Dive Center. Must have a 4x4. Beautiful view. Great entertainment area, clean and airconed rooms. Would live to come back for a family holiday.

Sehr schöne Unterkunft, Von Entspannung bis Aktivität alles machbar, super nettes Personal. Einziges Problem war es zu finden, das hat uns 2 Stunden gekostet. Am besten frühzeitig vor der Anreise kontaktieren und genaue Wegbeschreibung anfordern - oder immer den Schildern nach „white water lodge“ folgen und nicht von 7km Buckelpiste abschrecken lassen.

Really nice setup! “The nest” is very well equipped and has a charming look and feel. Zayn was great in terms of communication. Ideal place for stopover to coast and/or a base to explore Voi!

Nono hat uns herzlich empfangen und sich stets um alles gekümmert. Die Sauberkeit und Ordnung waren beeindruckend, was unseren Aufenthalt noch angenehmer machte. Das Haus selbst war ein wahres Schmuckstück, geschmackvoll eingerichtet und harmonisch in die Natur integriert. Besonders magisch war die Tierwelt direkt am Haus, die uns oft besuchte. Franz und Germaine waren großartige Gastgeber und haben unseren Aufenthalt unvergesslich gemacht! Wir kommen gerne wieder und werden das Jabulani allen unseren Freunden empfehlen.

Le Lieu est bucolique, magique . Un cocon simple et enchanteur dans une nature luxuriante , un jardin ou l'entretien pour maintenir cet espace est quotidien. On s'écarte des ambiances Resort pour vivre plus simplement et dignement peut-être !

Anikia' place is unique. Original set-up in the middle of a huge farm where you can take a real break from everything and disconnect. Kids loved the tree house and the zip line. Despite our original thoughts to do something around The Wagons, due to the remoteness and quietness of the place, we decided to stay and enjoy it as much as possible

A truly magical and peaceful venue, that exceeded all expectations. It is well worth the visit. !!

We had an amazing stay at Olelek Cabin. It was so lovely and peaceful, everyone was very friendly, welcoming and accommodating. Joshua the chef (and Wilson) were exceptional and we were lucky enough to do dinner with Patrick on the last night which was a nice way to end the trip. The hike with Thomas was also a highlight. Would highly recommend to others wanting to get out of the city and disconnect. Would be happy to go back!

Dawn Chorus is a gem! quite surreal that such an elevated experience is possible in the middle of Nairobi. The space is well equipped with all necessities so you are comfortable. The staff and crew are attentive and eager to help. We booked the space to really disconnect from concrete jungle humdrum and it delivered just that. The sound of the river and the birds in the morning, especially the first morning was magical. You can also hear the monkeys in the trees at night making for a truly immersive forest experience. Thank you Paul and Squeaks for sharing this space with us!

If there were ten stars I’d give them. I NEVER write reviews, but I was blown away by the super cool treehouse where monkeys would come visit me on my patio. An excellent restaurant/bar is a great place to meet other travelers. Easy walking distance to the beach. Less than a dollar Tuk-tuk ride to anything you need, or just walk the beach. The nightly bush baby feeding is a must see. I absolutely loved the treehouse, but the staff was even more amazing. Everyone was super friendly and made you feel like part of the family when you stay there. Jane went so far out of her way to manage a very last minute safari to tsavo, make sure I had everything I needed and got home safely. She’s a wonderful person and hopefully a friend for life. I will definitely come back someday. THIS IS DEFINITELY THE PLACE TO STAY IN DIANI!
