Bungalow vacation rentals in East Africa

Anil’s beach house was the perfect place for us and our friends to chill out and explore Mauritius. It was extremely practical, homely and also well located in a quiet part of western Mauritius without being too far away from everything. Having access to a car was an absolute bonus as we could do our day trips together or separately and come and go as we please. Anil was so generous with providing pizza and some cold beers on our arrival. He also made a huge effort to provide information on sites to see and places to eat, etc. The bedding, the linen, the kitchen, facilities, and equipment were all second to none. We also had access to a kayak and paddleboard, which was fun to see the dolphins just off the beach. We would highly recommend this Airbnb to anyone.

Thank you to Michael and Melissa. Very nice unit, has everything you need. Beautiful aircon nice and cold. Very spacious. Easy walk to restaurants and pubs. Beach is across the road. Go for a nice run and beautiful swim after. Good idea to bring reef shoes. Washing machine is available as well, shop is two minutes walk away to purchase washing powder and other amenities. I will definitely stay again.

Romain is a very friendly proactive host. We were able to check in as early as 10 in the morning, very nice! The accommodation is in a backyard, but with us there were no people present in the big house. The garden is very large and the outdoor shower is great. Furthermore, the stay is nice for a few days beach, on foot there are a few restaurants to reach and the nearest supermarket is a 15-minute walk away. If you want to stay longer than 2 days I would definitely recommend having a car.

Very nice stay at Franck's! The location is great, it's very quiet with a great view! Franck is very attentive and always good advice for excursions! And the meals are great nothing to say, we had 100% confidence in what we ate! We will undoubtedly be back.

Beautiful villa with sea view and beach access. Probably the most beautiful vacation rental we've ever rented. Tastefully decorated in a sublime environment with super attentive hosts at all times. The pool is remarkable. And the sea is at the end of the garden. In short, paradise...

The accommodation is functional and quiet. All the equipment is there. The location is a short walk to the beach and a short walk to several restaurants. Sophie was very welcoming and gave us lots of great tips. We had a great time.

We had a great time. Romain hosted us very well, was responsive, available and very pleasant. The accommodation matches the photos, the terrace is superb with a pleasant sound of waves in the background. Access to the beach is quick and easy, and Saint-Leu is about ten minutes' drive away, so very convenient. Thanks again for contributing to our great trip!

Very good stay at Armelle's, the location is nice and quiet. The house and garden are very nice, access to the pool is really a plus Armelle is friendly and offers good advice. No air conditioning unfortunately, the heat is really intense in the room despite the fan. It was still a pleasure to stay there. 😊

We had a lovely stay at Bernard's place. Great, large bungalow, clean, furnished with everything you need. We received a crib and high chair on request. Bernard and his family are very nice and extremely helpful in everything as well as always responsive. Very nice, large garden, ideal for children. We have nothing to complain about and enjoyed the time very much. For us, the surroundings were also ideal for exploring the island by rental car, especially in the south of Mahé.

We had a great time at Adeline and Joseph's, very welcoming and always available. The accommodation was exactly as described, very well-equipped and with neat decor. Similarly, its location was perfect for us to move around the island. In short, we highly recommend this place where we would gladly return!

sami is a great host. The accommodation , its terrace and garden are very pleasant. very good bedding. located less than 5 minutes walk from the bus stop. then access to the port if you want to take the boat to the cove major. Good address

Really very satisfied with the accommodation and its location away from the traffic of the main road. It perfectly matched our requests for calm. And despite a substantial flight delay, the owner waited for us and guided us to the residence regardless of the late hour, with a smile and good humor, making himself available at any time if necessary. Only small downside, but therefore the owner is not responsible, the path leading to the house is a little bumpy. No other comments, everything was really perfect.
