Vacation rentals with outdoor seating in East Africa

We booked Elina's place for four days while we visited Gombe National Park. We loved the spacious house, enjoyed the screened in outdoor space and felt safe and secure in the walled compound. Elina was friendly and helpful and even drove us to the airport when it was time to leave. Kigoma is a beautiful town and we look forward to visiting again!!

I had a great stay at this place with my family and the host was very proactive when it comes to communication and very friendly people. Thank you, I will come back again. Great service.

We had a very nice stay at Verona Self Catering. Hazel and her family were very friendly hosts which made our stay very comfortably. They also arranged a rental car for a good price and gave advise where to go for eating and shopping in the neighbourhood. We felt very welcome and save. We would definately recommend Verona Self Catering.

Beautiful property, will most definitely be back. Big enough for 3 work colleagues to use while traveling. Table tennis is a nice touch. Big pool and braai facilities come in clutch too

Amazing house just a few steps from the gorgeous beach! We loved the garden and pool too. The staff were amazing as well. We had such a lovely time!

Me and my two best friends can’t say enough good things about this place! From the moment we arrived, everything was absolutely seamless. The check-in process was easy and contactless, and the space was exactly as described—actually, better! Spotlessly clean, thoughtfully decorated, and incredibly cozy, it felt like a home away from home. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed to cook, and the host even left a welcome bottle of two wines; which was such a thoughtful touch. The bed was super comfortable, and we slept like babies each night. One of the highlights was the peaceful outdoor area—perfect for morning coffee or an evening glass of wine. Plus, the location was ideal: close to great restaurants, shops, and local attractions, but tucked away enough to enjoy some quiet and privacy. Our host was outstanding—friendly, responsive, and full of great recommendations. You can tell they genuinely care about their guests having an awesome experience.

We really can't say enough about Diana's place. We stayed in two of her units during our stay in Lusaka. The place was beautifully furnished, clean and quiet. The beds were comfy. The living room was bright and sunny. When we messaged Diana she responded within minutes and always had an answer for us. She has a lovely young lady, Memory, who comes in to clean the apartment. We really enjoyed our time in Lusaka and will definitely be looking up Diana's place again when we return.

We had a perfect, cozy getaway at the Crystal Apartment in Seychelles. The apartment was well-equipped, especially the kitchen, which had everything we needed to cook our meals. We loved enjoying dinner and watching the sunset at evening from the lovely balcony. With the car rental, the location was ideal for us, it was peaceful, private, and away from the crowds. The road up to the apartment is quite steep, but we didn’t mind at all, it actually turned into a fun bit of light exercise! From the moment we arrived, the hospitality was excellent. There were friendly people ready to welcome us and make us feel at home right away. Steven, Lucille, and the Crystal Apartment team were consistently responsive and reliable throughout our stay.

Nathalie is a welcoming host and concerned about guest satisfaction. She attaches particular importance to details, which is why the accommodation is impeccable. The location is just perfect, a few minutes' walk from the beach and the supermarket. The pool is a plus that is not negligible. I would like to point out that the residence is under video surveillance, which is a very good point to ensure security. However, please be advised that Nathalie views and uses the images for purposes other than safety.

Beautiful place

The host (Damaris) and staff are super friendly and easy to work with. The apartment was clean and spacious. I was able to easily walk to the Yaya center, Lavington Mall and Jefferys sports center whenever I felt like it. The neighborhood is surrounded by an endless network of paved sidewalks. I really enjoyed hours of walking. I am looking forward to my next visit.

We had a lovely stay at Guy’s place, beautiful position looking out over the sea and just a few minutes walk to a couple of restaurants. We enjoyed the pool after we had been out sightseeing in the car.Trou Aux Biches about 15 minutes walk but we drove and parked near the supermarket, a lovely beach and plenty of fish to sea when snorkelling. The only negatives …The beds were a bit firm for our liking and we couldn’t see any sunsets due to the apartment facing north west, other than that a very enjoyable week

My stay at Maureen’s Marvel house was awesome. The place is as shown in the photos. The place is clean, with clean furniture, kitchen well equipped. Having two beds was especially helpful for what I needed, worked perfectly. Maureen is a super host! She was quick to respond to inquiries regarding her house like when water was not heating in one bathroom a maintenance person was there in an hour. She gave me information on different issues as I requested including transportation, as a Kenyan but not lived in that locality before this was super helpful. Having spent almost a month in the house she allowed for later check out since my flight was in the evening. I couldn’t have asked for a better host. The only disclaimer on location is transportation as Ubers sometimes would refuse to go. The location itself is quite accessible but since the overall area is known to have some challenges accessing they would hesitate. Describing how near the road the house is helped. Thanks Maureen.

Home away from home, what you see is what you get .the only thing I had issues with was the stairs I had luggage and it was on the last floor but the helper assisted me I was very happy with everything definitely coming back here🤗.

We ended up in this accommodation because we had a very bad experience with an accommodation located on Trou d'eau douce and we were not at all disappointed to have chosen this accommodation in a residence with a pool. Very quiet, high-end apartment, everything was impeccable on arrival the bath linen smelled extremely good. Karine the housekeeper is adorable. And Deborah who is in charge of management is really the best, smiling, pleasant and professional. She allowed us to come earlier because there was no one in the accommodation before. Thanks so much for letting us have a great vacation.

We had a great time. The accommodation is perfect, in a great location, there are no downsides. Sabrina is extremely friendly and the exchanges with her were very pleasant. I would recommend it in a second, we hope to come back. 🤞🏼
