The cottage is in our garden and has its own small private patio. Our children sometimes play outside, and our friendly Labradoodle loves a cuddle. Quiet residential area – no parties, or youngsters. A nice and cozy stay, quietly located yet remains central. Close to the beach and cities like Alkmaar and Amsterdam. With a lovely, sunny garden where there are plenty of relax spots. The place includes the cute and easygoing cat Jet. She has her own cat door and can go in and out whenever she wants. So there's no need for a litter box. Barn house; pool table, near beach and cities.

You rent a barn house on the outskirts of Akersloot. Rural area and yet close to the A9, so you can be in cozy cities like Amsterdam, Haarlem and Alkmaar in no time. The house has its own entrance; you have a beautiful view of the bulb fields. Akersloot is 10 km from the beach. It is adjacent to the Alkmaardermeer where you can also swim, and there is a playground for children. Tourist tax must be paid separately and is €1.80 pp/night. Breakfast is not included.

The Old Factory “Energy Neutral Tinyhouse”

Our cozy guest house was converted in 2019 from an old aluminum factory to an energy-neutral tiny house of 40m2. It is free-standing in the backyard of our renovated house in Limmen. It is close to the dunes, the beach and forests. The larger cities of Alkmaar, Haarlem and Amsterdam are within driving distance. It is also easy to do by public transport, but having your own car makes it many times easier. With a bicycle, you can best enjoy the surroundings.

On the outskirts of Limmen is this cozy vacation home with fully equipped kitchen, private terrace and garden. At 800 meters is the center with the butcher, the bakery and the supermarket. The beach and dunes are 5.2 km away. A nice base for the cities; Alkmaar (10 km), Haarlem (21 km) and Amsterdam (27 km). The nearest station is Heiloo (3.2 km), Castricum (3.4 km)

It is beautifully located between the bulb fields in spring. Our accommodation is experienced by the children as very nice, close to mom and dad and yet their own place, parents have more privacy, there is an outdoor garden with a veranda where you can sit.... photos to follow, it's just finished, ....cycling in the area is recommended, ( free bikes )
