House vacation rentals in Durham County

We needed a place for two couples to share in this location near South Point Mall, and it was 'a hidden gem' of a find for us all. Perfect for the week. The kitchen was very well stocked, loved the nice bed linens, bottled water provided, wide clean garage, nice bathrooms, backyard space to enjoy a fire pit. The hostess thought of everything for our comfort and was so responsive to any needs and prepared us so we could check in and enjoy an easy arrival and stay. If you want to rent a very comfortable family home, this is it! The pictures really don't do it justice, so go ahead with this recommendation to book with Robin.

The space was accurately represented in the photos and generally met our expectations. The location was convenient and check-in was smooth. The living areas were comfortable for our group, though the property showed some signs of wear. While advertised for up to 12 people, the bathroom situation is something future guests should note - there are only two bathrooms, with the master bathroom being quite small and featuring a barn door that doesn't offer complete privacy. For larger groups, this could create some challenges with bathroom scheduling. Overall, we had a good stay, but would recommend this place for smaller groups (perhaps 6-8 people) rather than the maximum capacity of 12 if bathroom access and privacy are important to your group.

We had a good stay at this Airbnb. The host was very responsive around any questions we had which was appreciated. It was a spacious house and backyard which would work well for a family. Yuan was an amazing host super accommodating with my last-minute booking after our original plans fell through. After a quick conversation, he had no problem with us bringing pets, which was a huge relief. The home was clean, in a quiet, lovely neighborhood, and bonus there’s a pool! Highly recommend.

Our stay was perfect. Wish we had another day to continue to relax. The house was clean and well organized. The house is located within 10 minutes to the airport and within walking distance to everything you could possibly need. David communicated and responded quickly to any of my inquiries. Can't wait to visit again.

This is a beautiful home for a group. We celebrated Thanksgiving here with our family and there was enough space for everyone, and also a gorgeous back yard where you could relax in relative privacy. I highly recommend this neighborhood to anyone who wants a little more space around them. I went for a couple of runs, and it is a beautiful area. A couple of notes: it mentions that it is walking distance to some things, and that is if you want to walk two plus miles. It really isn't walking distance to anything, but it isn't terribly far either. Everything you need is around a ten minute drive. Also, Brad takes quite a bit of time to respond to requests. Also, anyone visiting Durham can get a free YMCA pass for a week, so you don't have to stay here to get that benefit.

We had a slight hiccup with the cleaning prior to us being there, but it was resolved in conversations with Ned. He was quick to respond and solve the problem. The house itself was spacious and wonderful for our uses. Thanks again Ned!

Wonderful house in a very quiet neighborhood. The house was squeaky clean and very spacious. There was plenty of room for 4 adults and 2 kids. The check-in was very easy. I highly recommend this property.

We had a great stay at Sunny’s place. Clean, convenient to downtown, quiet neighborhood - couldn’t ask for more. We had to leave a little early due to a family emergency and Sunny was very accommodating of the change in plans. Highly recommended.

This was a perfect place for me and my 2 kitties in Durham for two months. Kay was responsive when we had some wifi troubles, and otherwide let us be (which works great for me). Plenty of room, well stocked, decent desk for my workspace, two comfy beds, nice yard. It's not a great neighborhood, but the immediate space around the house, the block we were on, was perfectly save. Adorable home, obviously a place where people have lived.

We really enjoyed this stay! The pictures looked just like the house. This place had everything we needed for our stay. Laundry was a plus for us. It is in a quiet neighborhood and just a short drive to Raleigh. We definitely stay here again!

Beautiful and large home with generous space which ideal for families or a group. The neighborhood is quiet at night. It is probably walkable but we did not take advantage of that. Sam was helpful via messaging.

I stayed for 3 months during the summer, and Inna has been the best host I've had. She is promptly communicative, proactive, and always exceeds expectations whenever inevitable problems arise. Definitely made my stay worthwhile for me and my roomates. The place is as beautiful as the pictures suggest. I love the fact that I can just go for a walk to destress on the Tabacco Trail that's less than half a mile away. Good vibes 😌

We had a great visit at Chelsea and David’s place. It was our family of four + our friends (also a family of four). There was plenty of space for everyone to sleep and also to hang out in the “family room”. The house was well equipped for all of our needs. We will remember this place if we ever return to the area!

This is the third time we have stayed with Laura and it is our go to spot when we visit family. It is conveniently located and in a quiet pretty neighborhood where we have met a few very friendly people. Highly recommended!

My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It’s rare to find an Airbnb that is as clean as we maintain our own home. I usually have concerns about cleanliness, but not this time. My four-year-old loved the playground, and my mother, who is very hard to please, was impressed by how clean and comfortable everything was. I hope to stay here again when we return in the summer.
