Silvie's Cottage is a true delight! Welcoming, extremely well equipped, spotlessly clean and feels like a home from home with lots of extra touches. Off road parking in a lovely residential street which is only a short stroll into Church Stretton and a choice of walks straight from the door with no need to use a car. The garden is lovely and adds to the overall atmosphere of a warm welcoming cottage. We loved our few days stay, would highly recommend and plan to return again....hopefully soon! Hayley is the perfect host, accepted my request at short notice, very friendly and responsive. The Annex is very well equip has everything you need to make your stay very comfortable, decorated to a high standard, squeaky clean warm and cosy with lots of space....a real Gem! What a treasure this place is. It's not just beautiful, peaceful and extremely homely - it's loved, full of stories and life. Shane is a perfect host - kind, responsive and dedicated to providing a lovely space. Even better is that he built it himself - so every little part has a purpose and a story. He knows each tree in the garden. There are peacocks, hares, deer and birdsong. Some places are meant to make people smile :-)

What an absolute gem!! The location of the lodge is fantastic, beautifully peaceful countryside with only the birds and local farm animals in sight and earshot. The photos really do not do it justice, the feel inside is super cosy and well equipped. Outside is on another level - the views over the fields, private hot tub and sauna as well as various different seating areas make it stand out. We had planned to walk to the local pub but we were having such a relaxing time we decided not to leave at all! We had asked for the hot tub to be warmed for when we got there, the only thing I will say is bring your fire making abilities with you as you'll need them! Michelle was a great host, she was very responsive both prior to the stay and during, and met us there to let us in, nothing was too much trouble. The return trip is already in discussions!

The cottage was exactly what we wanted for our 2 night stay. Handy for the Theatre on the steps. Short walk to the High town and the cliff railway.

So quite and tranquil, perfect break away

Great location, nice small garden for the dogs to use. Kitchen was fully equipped and everything was clean and in good condition. Would be more than happy to go there again.

We were attending a Utility Warehouse conference weekend at the Telford International Centre so location and sleeping arrangements were high on our priorities. Sarah and the property were a perfect match. Sarah was so supportive from booking through to departure, everything you could possibly need was in the property including a guest pack for local information. Parking right outside the front door, so not far to carry luggage. The property is so bright and airy, the view from the kitchen area onto the very large back garden is beautiful straight from first light in the morning. Any questions I had were answered promptly. I would highly recommend this property, I would also have no hesitation on rebooking when we return next year.

We loved our stay at this beautiful Georgian cottage. Perfect location for exploring Ludlow in the historic centre. It's really well set up for kids so as long as your little ones are confident on stairs it's a great choice. Our 2 year old loved the toys and books, as well as the beautiful garden. Highly recommended!
