Vacation rentals in Dunford Bridge

Just what we needed for a fantastic week in the Peaks, near to so many lovely walks as well as being warm, very clean and well equipped. Extremely good communication from the host before our arrival - including lots of information about the area. Really appreciated all the touches provided to make our stay a home from home, including fresh ground coffee and shower gel. Thank you so much!

This cottage was perfect for us - 2 couples with small children. Louise gave us loads of information before we arrived, and her husband greeted us shortly after we arrived. It was such an easy stay with small children, we had everything we needed, and the stair gate made life so easy! There were lots of lovely touches like providing snacks, coffee and jams. And Louise even provided some glasses for the solar eclipse!! The surroundings are really peaceful and the kids loved the 2 Shetland ponies in the field opposite. There are lots of options for walks from the cottage, or a short drive away. The Black Lion pub did a great roast dinner. I found there was so much thought put into the stay and Louise was very accommodating. Would definitely recommend!

Pamela's is an excellent AirBnB location spotlessly clean, extremely well equipped and a very pleasant location within a short walk of Bakewell's amenities. The property is quite old but beautifully renovated and a pleasure to visit.

This was our second time staying at this lovely Airbnb and once again we had a wonderful, relaxing stay! The place is spotless and is within walking distance of the beautiful town of Buxton. Would highly recommend to anyone looking to visit the local area!

Beautiful location, lovely Lodge, very spacious. Very well equipped

A beautiful cottage, with a charming layout, making the most of the fantastic views. We could have sat watching the views for hours and were only sorry we didn't have more time to enjoy the terrace! It was well appointed and felt very homely. We loved how convenient it was for walking into Matlock Bath (only 5 minutes) with its fish and chip shops, ice cream parlours, amusements and lovely riverside walk and 2 play parks. What a great location for us as a family and it was very handy to be able to leave the car at the house and walk to the cable cars for the Heights of Abraham. We appreciated the milk and tin of chocolate biscuits. One tip for anyone who visits is to park at the top of the house, and not take the car around to the front of the house to save having to reverse up the steep hill as the road at the bottom has now been cordoned off. Lovely house, loved the decor and touches around the place. All the beds were really comfortable, felt like we were staying in a luxury hotel. The outside table gets some lovely afternoon sun, was great to sit out after our walk. Great location for getting out walking. Loved our stay.

Thanks to Nancy for responding to all our queries very promptly. The accommodation is very quaint comfortable and cosy. We had everything we needed. Walking distance to several nice pubs. Food in the Poachers and the Vale Inn was gorgeous. As was take away from Chopsticks, literally across the road. We walked several miles along the canal and Middlewood Way, straight from the doorstep. We would recommend this accommodation and location.
