House vacation rentals in Dunes City

We had a fantastic Thanksgiving at the Heron House! The location was great - walking distance to town and to a small beach at the mouth of the river. The beds were comfortable and the kids had a fun time trying out the various sleeping nooks. The kitchen had everything we needed for our Thanksgiving meal. We even got in a round of tennis at the nearby courts. Wish we had visited in the summer to swim in the river. Would definitely stay again!

Everything was great! Cool place. The jacuzzi had changing color lights which was really cool. The sauna was wonderful also.

This place is perfect if you want quite relaxing surrounded by nature. Quick walk to town and ample opportunities to explore.

The house was spacious, clean, and comfortable for our family. Loved sitting on the deck and watching the swallows in the morning. Beautiful area, and Yachats is a cute town. Ate great fish at the market and enjoyed the gorgeous hike at Cape Perpetua.

Dawniel's Cottage was quaint, clean, and well equipped with the amenities necessary to be a second home. The coastal-themed decor neatly accentuated its location. Despite being in close proximity to the schools, the neighborhood was quite peaceful and quiet. The backyard fountain was pleasant, providing a haven for the occasional hummingbird and a place to contemplate activities for the day. The cottage was centrally located to meet our travel plans. We had a very nice opportunity to visit nearby coastal communities, the unique places, and natural features on a day-by-day basis. We had a most wonderful time. Thank You!

Great location to the Ocean, easy access from driveway. Great views overall. It was nice to leave the firewood for the fireplace, and it was easy to pick up more from the Market in town. The Kitchen was really accessible, and easy to use. Some of the people in my group were not a fan of the 2 steps go get from the kitchen/living room area up to the dining room area and premium view of the Ocean. But, for most people it was not a problem. The TV’s were nice and easy to use as well. Great place overall!

This is a great home with beautiful views of the bay. It’s in a quiet neighborhood with walking trails close by. I enjoyed a very comfortable stay, and found everything I needed. Thanks Chloe and Jason!

The accommodations were extremely clean with a view of the bay. It was as described vintage 1930, old but nice with all the necessary items to make the stay enjoyable.

Chloe and Jason are excellent hosts. We had a long term stay with them and they were 100% responsive, kind and eager to make us feel completely at home.

Very cute little house in a great location. Nice kitchen, which I used, and an awesome shower in the master bath. The host was very friendly and very helpful as I found most of the locals to be. There is a small duplex in the rear that shares the driveway but it wasn’t an issue…I just didn’t recall it in the description. Overall, a great experience and, yes, I would definitely stay here again!

Enjoyed our stay! The house was in a great location for visiting Sunset Bay, Shore Acres and all the beaches around there. The exterior is basic, but it’s quite nice on the inside, and had everything we needed! There was a good-sized fenced yard, perfect for our dog. We drive an EV and there was a convenient charging plug. It was a very short drive to beaches, state parks, and the shops, and restaurants in Charleston, and about 10 minutes to Coos Bay & North Bend downtown areas. The neighborhood was probably the only downside - it was a bit sketchy, and there wasn’t much within walking distance.

Linda was so helpful and friendly and the house was perfect for our family and especially my son who uses a wheelchair. The house was comfy and clean and quiet and we loved it. Thank you so much for the wonderful accommodations and friendly communication! Will be back!!

We stayed for a week. Sunday to Sunday. Patrick was very responsive and checked in with us periodically to make sure everything was going well. The house is very nice and recently remodeled. Everything inside seemed like brand new. I would definitely stay here again.

We stayed with 3 friends and everyone loved the place. There was plenty of room to allow privacy and yet the public areas were so inviting as well. The bedrooms and bedding were loved by all! And there really is nothing better than enjoying a hot tub on your private deck overlooking the ocean and stars. We will be back and we will stay longer. Cheryl’s place was one of the most beautiful and well kept AirBnB’s we have stayed at. Such a great place, so friendly and welcoming, cheerfully decorated, and well stocked. The house is very well taken care of, it has an outdoor fire pit and outdoor seating. The carriage house has washer and dryer and even arcade games for the kids. The neighborhood was nice and quiet and we didn’t hear any traffic. Hoping to come backt to explore the area more. Thanks so much for hosting us, Cheryl!

Florence, Oregon, was fantastic and this airbnb was perfect for my family. The home was cozy and had everything we needed for a dog friendly comfortable getaway. The large, fenced-in yard was perfect for our dogs to play and feel safe, which we truly appreciated. The location was ideal—close to the beach and the sand dunes which are amazing. The ATV scene is killer.
