We had a good stay, the place had all the amenities you expect in a campsite, with a few added bonuses which aren't included in the listing (such as an electric heater and a 2 ring gas stove). Comfy bed, clean private toilet and shared hot showers, and within driving distance of Keswick so it's perfect for exploring the fells in that area.

Had such a lovely couple of nights. EXACTLY what we were looking for. Myself, son (13) and nephew (4) enjoyed every aspect of our stay. Co-op minutes walk and EXCELLENT play park not much further. Cooked over fire-pit and enjoyed the babbling stream. William was an awesome host. Helped us out of a logistical pickle we found ourselves in!!!! Assured him that we will be back….. next time booking adjacent hut for full family to enjoy

Honestly, the best air bnb we have stayed in. Incredibly picturesque, access to the beautiful gardens. Tessa was responsive and very helpful in many ways and all round lovely host! Can not recommend enough, felt comfortable and at home. 10/10 coming back!

What a lovely little cottage. Felt comfy and like home. Jo was so responsive and it didnt take long to hear from her when I messaged her. I asked about an ironing board, and when Jo realised we didnt have one, she had a table top one delivered the next day. Powerful shower, just loved it. Kind and thoughtful. Would definetly recommend

Absolutely divine experience with Pod on the Pond! Mark&Julie are really great, kind and just so easy to communicate. Their listings are simply fantastic and their whole gardens and the pond are outstanding. We went there to relax and to break from a city living and it gave us much more we hoped for. From their beautiful private gardens to the walking labyrinth -really cute add on, to seeing cows and sheep, to never ending duck chatter and beautiful bird singing, it takes you out of stress immediately. I would 100% recommend and I can see myself coming back! Thank you Mark&Julie for a wonderful weekend! ❤️

We just had a great stay. Great communication, Lynne was always responsive and lots of information provided. House was extremely clean, good quality bed linen and loads of lovely fresh towels. Beds comfy. Outside area was perfect for our family lots of space to run around and play plus the hot tub to relax in. Location was perfect for us visiting family and close to the beach and gardens and other places to visit. Thanks for a great stay

We had a lovely stop over at Melissa and Ben’s Shepherd Hut. Location was idyllic; very peaceful and super cosy. We enjoyed board games by the fire and watching the birds at the feeders. Everything was provided for and self explanatory but we knew that Melissa and Ben were on hand if there was anything extra we were needing. We can’t wait to stay here again, thank you so much for sharing your slice of paradise with us!
