Highland loch-side, 2 bed house with amazing view.

"Dail an Fheidh" (gaelic for "Deer Field") is a 2 bedroom house situated on the beautiful shores of Loch Linnhe. The house is set in an acre of field and has direct access to the loch. There are amazing views over to Ben Nevis and red deer graze near the house, all year long. A 40 minute drive will take you to the popular town of Fort William or head west to explore the stunning Ardnamurchan Peninsula. You can use the Corran Ferry to access the house, but please note, we are not on an island.

Enjoy the peace and views at our cosy wee cabin. Beautiful setting on the banks of Loch Eil. Watch the Jacobite Steam Train pass on the opposite shore, along with the sea birds and other wildlife. Easy access to the water if you have kayaks or paddle boards. Located within the grounds of our home, so you share the driveway and garden. Make sure you bring your provisions as we are 35 minutes drive from Fort William and there are no shops or restaurants near by.

The property was awesome. It had everything we needed to explore Fort Williams downtown area. would work great for hikers needing a place to rest at the end of a long hike, or a couple wanting to explore Ft William. Short walk to grocery, the train and downtown. Really great.

We had a (short) but really nice stay at Margaret's. The lodge is quite new and was perfectly clean, with a very nice bathroom and well equipped. Also the laundry softener for the sheets smelled lovely! It’s located in a very quiet neighborhood with a few supermarkets nearby. Margaret herself was also very nice and even let us check-in a bit earlier.

This was by far the very best Air BNB my family and I have had the pleasure of staying in! Gorgeous property, fantastic hosts! Above and beyond any amenity we could wish for as a family with two teen boys. Proximity to Fort William is a big plus (groceries, gas, pubs); central to each of our day trips, yet also remote and serene. We truly felt at home and at peace. Fantastic experience— cannot recommend highly enough!!

The cottage is a decent place located only 10 Minuten by car from the city Center of Fort William, the Glen Nevis visitor center and the Nevis Range. Thus it is a perfect starting point for some day trips. The courtyard is located on a main road. However, you do not hear the traffic inside loudly and especially in the sleeping room, which is located at the backside of the building, you hear nothing from the traffic. The bedroom and living room were really comfortable. When we arrived the table was set for dining for two persons. Overall, the cottage was well equipped and clean. We would stay here again if we are again in this region.
