Unique Accommodation with Amazing Views

AndrewRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
We recently stayed at this lovely home as we were attending a wedding at the nearby Tithe Barn. The location was perfect and only a few minutes drive to the Tithe Barn as well as the Bolton Abbey estate. The property was also next to the Bolton Abbey to Embsay steam train, which our son loved. The house was clean, homely and a great base from which to explore the surrounding area.

‘The Hideaway’ amidst the Nidderdale Hills

GillRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We absolutely loved The Hideaway and wished we'd been able to stay for more than one night. Louise was so friendly and helpful, and although we didn't get to meet, we had everything we wanted and quick help when we messaged her with questions about where to eat etc. The Hideaway is immaculately clean and so stylish. The bed was super comfy and the shower fantastic. The kitchen was spotless and well stocked with utensils and crockery and Louise had kindly left us fresh eggs (from her gorgeous free ranging chickens, who came to say hello as we arrived), fresh milk and bread and a bakery treat each. It's a light, bright and welcoming apartment with beautiful views over Nidderdale. We had complete privacy and even a little garden space with picnic table and fabulous view. We were delighted to wake to the gentle calls of the curlews in nearby fields and we felt truly 'on holiday'. The sad part was leaving .. we really hope to be back soon and to explore this amazing part of Yorkshire

The Tree Cabin

IainRating, 5 stars4 days ago
This was the most sensational location. The property itself is stunning and the surroundings so picturesque. We wanted to just switch off and get away from it all for a couple of days and thats exactly what we were able to do. Tony and Barbara are lovely and so very helpful, we loved learning about the history of the buildings and the Mill Pond. We will be recommending this property to friends and family. Thankyou Tony and Barbara for the warm welcome

Holmfirth cottage with amazing view (dog friendly)

KimRating, 5 stars1 week ago
The cottage is tucked away on a quiet lane with stunning views over the Holmfirth countryside. You can really tell that Tracey has poured so much love and care into the space, as the cottage is full of charm and thoughtful personal touches that make it feel like a home from home. Tracey has thought of everything to ensure a comfortable stay, from a generous selection of toiletries and kitchen essentials to dog bowls, treats, towels, and even spare duvets in both lightweight and heavier options. There were also hot water bottles, tea, coffee, milk, and snacks waiting for us on arrival, which was such a lovely touch. Communication with Tracey was excellent, she was proactive, helpful, and incredibly responsive, which made planning and arriving stress-free. The cottage is very dog-friendly, with plenty of walks nearby, and Holmfirth town centre is just a 10-minute walk away. I’d absolutely stay here again and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a Yorkshire getaway.
