My experience at LaPaix Stays was truly wonderful. The check-in process was flexible, clear, and easy, making me feel at home from the start. The space was spotless — furniture, linens, kitchen, and bathrooms were spotless and well-equipped with everything I needed. The photos and description were completely accurate, matching exactly what I found upon arriving. Jonathan was a thoughtful and responsive host, always available to help and make my stay comfortable. The neighborhood was peaceful, with nearby parks, restaurants, a grocery store, and a gas station. It’s also a short drive away from Kildonan Mall, Costco, Canadian Tire, Walmart, Superstore, Home Depot, cinema, and more — adding even greater convenience. I want to say a big “Thank you” to Jonathan for making my stay so restful and enjoyable. I wish I could give LaPaix Stays more than 5 stars, and I’m looking forward to staying here again in the future!

From the clear check-in instructions to the quick and accommodating responses to my requests, this place had everything I could ask for during my stay in Winnipeg. The hosts, Vipan and Chaman, were very friendly and made sure I was comfortable throughout my visit. The space was spotless, easily accessible, and situated in a quiet, peaceful neighbourhood. I would recommend staying at Vipan and Chaman’s place if you're visiting Winnipeg!

My husband and I were renovating a property just a few streets over, so having an Airbnb a 5-minute walk away was incredibly convenient. I could work from here, away from the noise and mess, but still be close by if he needed help. You’re really close to Portage, but Lenore Street feels quiet and charming—classic Wolseley. Still, you’re minutes from groceries, Home Depot, Costco (which we needed often), and only 10 minutes from the airport. The unit was clean, had a well-equipped kitchen, and lots of bright natural light. There’s a great little restaurant nearby that does dinner and weekend brunch, plus a juice bar and bakery. Just a heads-up: you can hear footsteps if someone’s staying in the unit above. It didn’t bother us, but worth noting. There’s AC, which was a nice perk, and no on-site laundry, so make sure you’re aware of that. Overall, a lovely place in a fantastic location.

This was my second stay, and once again it was a pleasant experience. We had an early flight and chose this place because it's conveniently located—just about 10 minutes to the airport. The price was reasonable, and the space is thoughtfully decorated with an artistic touch. Although we only stayed for a few hours, we were able to get some much-needed rest. We also had the chance to meet the host, who was very kind and welcoming. Thank you again!

we had a wonderful time in Winnipeg. this place was what we needed. to be close to things downtown, within walking distance. secure place to park the car. two bedrooms, two bathrooms, capacity to make meals if we wanted. it was perfect for our needs.

I spent a month at Jeremy's place, as I had to go to Winnipeg for work. Pros: - you have most of amenities for your day to day life. - very good value for money - the place's a bit smaller than the images would suggest, but for one person it's absolutely perfect, still doable for a couple - very walkable area, for someone who had to go almost on a daily basis in downtown, it was perfect. The suite is right near a school but the noise was never an issue, I'd say is a plus because it made the surroundings feel more alive. Cons: - I'd often smell an unpleasant scent inside and in the immediate area of the building around the neighborhood, not sure what. Maybe some fertilizer used by neighbours? - the apartment's door feels a bit fragile and doesn't really insulate from the buildings hallway. At night when some neighbour would get into the building and open his own door it sounds as if they are trying your door. Although the neighborhood looks generally safe A good experience overall

Fantastic place & location! Right across the street from a Superstore; maccas and other fast food restaurants a walkable distance too. Very walkable area & only a $10 uber into downtown. Only downfall is the air conditioning unit is very loud, other than that, it’s perfect! Would stay here again.

The space is an interesting building that has been renovated into the current spaces. Lots of walkable restaurants and shops nearby. Other than some confusion about the free parking, the place is lovely and as described.

A Truly Exceptional Stay I couldn’t have asked for a better experience than my stay here! The suite is beautiful—bright and welcoming, impeccably clean, thoughtfully equipped, and had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. I especially appreciated having a washer and dryer and an electric charger for my car. The location is ideal: quiet and peaceful, yet just minutes from everything you might need. I loved exploring the walking trail right behind the house. The list of local recommendations provided was incredibly helpful, and I absolutely adored the Thai restaurant they suggested. Quite a few delicious and thoughtful surprises throughout my stay here made me feel very spoiled! Most importantly, I felt completely safe and cared for throughout my stay. The Hacktons are wonderful hosts, and it’s clear they’ve poured love and intention into creating a place that feels peaceful, welcoming, and full of heart. This is the kind of Airbnb you remember long after you leave.

It was great for what I needed it for. Just to help apartment hunt for when I move to the city. There was a place I was always wanting to try around the corner (Shelly’s Bistro) which made it even better. The apartment had a great feel to it. There was a great breeze through out the place air conditioning wasn’t needed.

Nicely furnished, clean and very comfortable. The hosts are great; respond quickly and communicate well. You need a car to get around since it is on a busy street with few stores/restaurants nearby, but the dedicated parking space addresses that. Close to the university and safe, I would recommend to fellow travelers!

Quite possibly one of the most well-equipped rental units we’ve stayed in (and we’ve stayed in a lot!). Marco, our host, is an excellent communicator. Readily available and he responded to any questions with little delay. Great location, clear concise instructions, and super easy access provided you don’t need an elevator. Very comfy bed! Intimidating looking shower but after about 90 seconds, we figured it out. Now we want one! Just a lovely unit. Will definitely stay again.
