Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Downtown, Asheville

We highly recommend this Airbnb. We had a great time with our family. It's a place to relax and enjoy the mountains, close to Asheville and other places of interest in the mountains of North and South Carolina, for us it has an ideal location. We will definitely come back another time of year.

Comfortable rental in a great location. We enjoyed all the amenities, and the easy access to downtown Black Mountain and Asheville. Easy walk down to the tavern and Japanese restaurant in the village of Cheshire (which we did 2 nights of our stay). A few additions such as tall planter on the side porch to provide a bit more privacy from the adjacent over flow parking, bedside lighting for the downstairs bedrooms, floor lamp in the living room, and shades for the back deck French door would really elevate the comfort of even more! Enjoyable 5 night stay; we would stay there there again.

Our extended family of 13 had a peaceful, relaxing, and wonderful stay! The pictures don't do the house/cabin and surrounding property justice. The rope swing, swing, and tire swing were a huge hit with the kids - they were addicted to the rope swing! (Even the teens managed to break away from their tech and play on the creek!) The towels to use for the creek were a nice touch. This location made it really easy to get to Asheville, Black Mountain, and Brevard. It was unanimous that all of us would love to return! It was a much needed retreat and respite for all of us!

We absolutely loved our stay at Carolina Morning’s Bent Creek house. The house is clean, comfortable, fully equipped, and had plenty of room to relax. The location and surroundings are very quiet & peaceful. If you like to mountain bike, the excellent Bent Creek trail system is literally across the street, you can ride from the house. 10/10, will look for this house again the next time we visit Asheville.

Excellent place. Tons of items from pots and pans to extra batteries. The best stocked unit I have ever stayed in. Very clean and comfortable. Top notch instructions for all aspects of unit. Excellent location. A++++

This was a great family friendly house, especially if you are traveling with your “fur baby/babies” too. This was probably one of the best family-oriented houses we’ve experienced on Airbnb. It had everything we needed, including the accommodations for our pup. The house is exactly as described…super close to everything. The hosts, Rachel and Adam, made sure our check in process was smooth and were fast to respond to my messages. I would highly recommend this place for folks traveling to Asheville!

We LOVED our stay at Stephanie's AirBnb! The view was even better than pictured and the home itself was stunning. We loved all of the homey-touches - one person in our group fell in love with one of the living room chairs and ordered one for herself before we even left Asheville. Cannot recommend this home enough, would absolutely stay here the next time I visit.

Stevie is an incredible host— attentive, friendly, and so easy to work with! My partner and I were originally booked to visit last year but was not able to due to the hurricane. Stevie was kind enough to let us push our stay back to a time that would work better. They were also so quick at communicating— both prior and during the stay. The place itself was spotless and was in the perfect driving distance to everywhere we wanted to visit— about 15 minutes from downtown Asheville!

The day we checked in was the night just before Helene hit Asheville. We lost power on the second day, but luckily Lynn and Bill have a generator that secured our usage of power throughout the next a few days. On the third day, we lost the network. But the magical Lynn and Bill had a starlink that kept us connected to the outside world! The network not only kept us informed about the latest news, but also enabled us to send out important messages to the parents for some Asheville School students, so their parents could arrange picking up their children the moment they received the message. We literally became the information distribution center between the students and their parents. Can't thank Lynn and Bill enough for their support during such difficult time. Forgot to tell you that Lynn and Bill have got a beatuiful house and view, nice settings of everything inside. The days we stayed with Lynn and Bill are unforgettable.

Great place to stay, prefect for couples looking for a retreat or a small family. Hot tub was a great bonus and the location is only 10 minutes from downtown Asheville.

Beautiful Backyard suite was lovely. And the proximity to Asheville was quite convenient while being out of the bustle of the city. The hot tub (and lots of provided towels) made this location a wonderful choice to relax and soak away stress on a quick weekend getaway from Tennessee.

The house is beautiful, very spacious and has everything you’ll need. I love the outside space….so peaceful and quiet and lots of trees around. The downtown area was only about 10 minutes away and has some great restaurants. Our visit was pretty different in that Hurricane Helene came during our second night there. The house held steady and the neighbors shared food and brought a chainsaw to help clear the driveway. We had no power, water, or cellular/internet and were unable to find gas for our car. Brenda graciously allowed us to stay as long as we needed, until we could get home safely.

The hosts were very very responsive. Very clean Cabins too. Even though pets are allowed, there was no sign of pets inside, very well cleaned. We had a very small concern, and they were right there the second I messaged them! Very very helpful! We will definitely start booking our family reunion June stays here from now on!

Jasmine’s home is the perfect mountain getaway, especially for our three pups. The house has plenty of space, kitchen items, comfortable couches, and a fenced in backyard. We thought this home was one of the best we’ve stayed in Asheville! Can’t wait to return!

I stayed at Kelly’s place for a weekend father son trip and it was a perfect spot in Asheville. The location is perfect - close enough to the city for a short drive, but secluded enough to make you really feel in the mountains. Cabin was beautiful with vaulted ceilings and indoor fireplace, with 2 bedrooms and a very spacious loft bedroom upstairs. Hosts were responsive, friendly, and offered local recommendations. Would absolutely stay again on my next trip to Asheville.

Highly recommend! Though the area is recovering from the recent hurricane damage, we had a pleasant stay and would come back.

The Lady and I stayed here in May of 23 and loved it so much we decided to come back (engaged this time otw up). We will continue to come back as long as possible and recommend anyone else to do the same. The surrounding woods are gorgeous and peaceful and not too far away from town or any hiking or sights.

The only thing I regret was not taking more PTO so that my husband and I could stay at this cabin longer. This place was exactly what we needed. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

"Modern cabin" is a modest description ... I would call this a mountain retreat! There were four of us (two couples), but the home would have easily accommodated eight. The design of the house was well thought out and roomy, and the decor was stylish and tasteful. It did not seem like a rental. The kitchen was fully equipped. Thick towels and a bubbly hot tub awaited our arrival, and the Saturday morning scones & hot chocolate were a delightful treat! Perfect spot for a remote get-away, but still just 20 minutes from downtown Ashville and many other attractions. We could not have been happier with this "cabin"!
