The kitchen is well equipped and leads out to an outdoor balcony with views. The cosy living room offers plenty of seating, Smart TV and a fire.

Centrally positioned in the Peak District National Park at around 25 miles to both Manchester and Sheffield, Crooked Nook is located in the tiny village of Sparrowpit (1200ft!) in the heart of fantastic cycling and walking countryside with routes, rides and paths criss- crossing the Peak District some right from the front door!

Our location is a great base for exploring the High Peak, we are just on the edge of Chapel-en-le-Frith with shops, bars and coffee shops just 5-10 mins walk. Also on our doorstep are walks to Eccles pike (30 min walk) with stunning views of the local area. We offer a great base for attractions in Buxton, Castleton, Bakewell and Manchester City centre.

The Nook - an idyllic rural bolt hole...

A sleeps two, barn conversion with original beams. The Nook is located at Back Tor Farm in the Edale Valley. We welcome all enquiries of three nights or more but do prefer Friday changeover dates. It is an essential part of our hosting terms that the person responsible for booking our property makes their full name and mobile number available to us in the Airbnb booking process. 3rd Party bookings are not acceptable. There is a small amount of off road parking in front of the property and plenty of easily accessible on road parking to the rear.

Goose Croft, tucked away in Edale

The setting of this cosy small detached cottage is beautiful and you feel quite secluded, yet the village of Edale is 1 minute walk away. From here you can enjoy the countryside by walking or biking, short or longer routes. There is a folder in the cottage with a selection of maps, which you are welcome to use and choose a route straight from the door. There are two pubs, two cafes and a general store in the village.
