I stayed at the Riad for my 30th birthday with a large group of friends and it was the perfect base for our stay in Marrakech. There was plenty of room for everyone and the terrace was a beautiful spot for some afternoon sun. Hannan and the staff made us feel right at home and were very helpful with tips for recommendations for the area. Francoise was very responsive to messages and very accommodating to our requests. The Riad was very quiet and peaceful and it was located in a perfect spot in the Medina that was very close to everything. The hammam spa and massages were also wonderful. I’d highly recommend staying at Francoise’s Riad, it is a hidden gem within Marrakech!

An excellent stay overall, marked by clear communication and prompt responses that made the experience smooth from start to finish. I wouldn’t hesitate to book again. The property is beautifully presented/spacious, thoughtfully appointed, and equipped with all the amenities needed for a comfortable stay. Located in a peaceful, secure neighborhood, it offers the added advantage of being within easy walking distance of the medina and main square/around 15 minutes at a brisk pace. It’s also just a stone’s throw from a number of charming artisanal boutiques that lend the area real character. All in all, a brilliant experience. Sincere thanks to Joëlle, Thierry and the wider team for their warm hospitality. I will return!!

Great family stay at this friendly Riad! Bonus for the superb cuisine of the two Rachidas! We had a great time! And the kindness of the night watchman! Quiet, comfortable room and plenty of living space! Small downside for the Hammam which may deserve a little refresh! Easy communication with the host who responded to each of our requests. I recommend this Riad!

Very good stay in Matthieu's Riad. We were there as a family. It was our 5th stay in Marrakech. Accommodation in accordance with the description and our expectations. Positive point: FATIMA...!! We found what we love in Morocco. The hospitality, caring, availability and kindness thanks to her. (We had read the previous reviews and we confirm what they said). Small area for improvement: Some small updates are probably to be expected (painting, jacuzzi) but nothing that prevents you from having a great stay. Go there without so much as a second thought!

We had a great 3 night stay here. Plenty of space for our family of 5 - kids aged 15, 10 & 8. The roof top was fab. I might have been nervous if my children we're alot younger with the balconies & rooftop but for us it was great. The communal pool was lovely too when it was hot. We got a very warm welcome and lots of useful information to settle us in. Location suited us, outside the medina but within walking distance if you like walking. My only gripe was the pillows are a bit small, otherwise beds were comfortable. Thanks for a lovely stay. I would definitely recommend this apartment.

What better proof of satisfaction than to come back; which I did a year after my first stay. Very responsive host and well surrounded by Mr. Brahim who ensures stewardship. Very secure residence. Very nice pool. Impeccable apartment on the garden level. Good geographical location. I'll be back.

We had a fantastic time at this Airbnb. We have to thank Philippe for his quick action which got us out of a difficult situation with another booking falling through. He was flexible and went above and beyond to get the place ready for us very quickly even though it was last minute. The apartment was spotless and a lovely quiet space. The bedding was very very comfortable. We felt like we slept twice as long as we actually did!! it was easy to walk into town/to main attractions whilst being a calm and quiet neighbourhood. The local restaurants were also great. We hope to come back one day!

We had an amazing trip to Marrakech. Saïd ensured all communication was clear and arranged airport transfers. When we arrived we were greeted by Adam who provided all the info we needed. Aude was on hand by message to arrange excursions (dromedary ride and dinner in the desert) plus a guided tour of the Medina with a very knowledgeable guide (well worth it if you are interested in local history). The beds are comfortable and we had breakfast made by Aude twice (our choice to have twice out). Great meals at Villa Aaron and Dardar. Marrakech is full of sights, sounds, smells and experience. The people are so welcoming. You get used to the busy streets and it feels very safe. Haggle in the souk for souvenirs to take home and remember this beautiful place.

Riad Bab Ouchka is a lovely oasis in the middle of the frantic streets of Marrakech. It was spotlessly clean and all of the bedrooms are spacious. The roof terrace is a great spot to relax. Its just a few minutes walk from the shopping streets and about 10 mins to the main square. There are several lovely restaurants with peaceful terraces within a few steps. Mohammed arranged a taxi from the airport and was there to meet the taxi a few streets away from the riad which is as close as a car can get. I'd highly recommend this as its quite hard to find the first time. Mohammed was happy to sit with us and go over a map of the city pointing out things to do and he recommended a really good restaurant very close by. We had breakfast cooked for us in the riad on a couple of days, very tasty - definitely give this a go.

This was our 3rd stay here and it was better than ever! Truly exceptional. It’s like a little paradise and we really did have the best stay. The hosts were extremely responsive and made our stay even better - being on hand with any questions or queries and even helped booking in my massages at the property. We were really sad to leave but I know we will be back again for the 4th time! Thank you, thank you, thank you!!

Khalid was a wonderful host and made us feel at home right away. The pickup from the train station and drop off at the apartment for check in was seamless. And what a beautiful riad! Plenty of space and room to relax and unwind after exploring the medina all day. Despite being in the centre of the medina, the house itself was super peaceful and felt like home. The location isn’t as touristy as the rest of the medina, so it was easy to get away from the busy souks. The riad is well stocked with basics and had everything we needed to cook a few meals during our stay. The local markets are very close by so that made the location really perfect. The riad is within walking distance to all the sightseeing spots and restaurants. We had the most authentic stay in Marrakech! Definitely recommend!

The riad is beautiful and was the perfect place to escape the heat and noise of the souks, even on a warm day (end of April) the courtyard and first-floor rooms stayed cool. It’s tucked away on a quiet side street where local kids play, which adds a lovely, peaceful vibe. Abdesalam and Aicha were super kind and helpful; from the welcome at the parking, every morning preparing breakfast for us, and on our last day, On our last day, Abdesalam even walked us to our taxi at 6 AM, which we really appreciated. Highly recommended!

We were 2 families which had the whole place to ourselves and our tween kids had an amazing time on the terrace and hanging out together in the rooms. The housekeeper Ibtissam was extremely helpful as well as making breakfast for us every day; we spoke French with her which worked well. The shutters shut out all the light and the beds are very comfortable. Since the riad is right in the old town it is unavoidable to hear noises of people talking at night and the birds in the morning, but it didn't really bother any of us. Just a note that bedrooms have doors that can be securely closed/locked for those who want some peace in the ensuite bathrooms that don't have separate doors due to the authentic riad set-up. The interiors are traditional and there is a beautiful tree growing in the courtyard up to the open sky which immediately gives you a feeling of being in Morocco. It was really easy to walk around the Medina and feel like we were living in the old town, highly recommend!

Great location for visiting Marrakech! Great communication with Maria, whether before or during the stay. Very well arranged apartment, the terrace with pool is a very pleasant plus to rest after a day of sightseeing!

Riad located 10 minutes from Jemaa El Fna square. Excellent service thanks to Saïd's responsiveness and a big thank you to Latifa who was perfect. Very clean riad, quiet in the medina. We highly recommend it!!!

We decided to go on a family trip, and were looking for a private Riad for 9 persons. We found this Riad from Alain, and were amazed! We had a great time, the space is cozy and has real character. We felt home and welcome in this Riad in Marrakesh and can't wait to come back again! The location was central and close to all different sorts of restaurants, shops and facilities like taxi stands. It's also close to Bacha Coffee! We also are very happy with Alain, who gave us all the information we needed before our journey began. Rachida, the lovely lady who was at the Riad who picked us up from the taxi stand and walked with us to the Riad, and made us breakfast every day. She was very kind and we miss her already! We made some really good memories with our family.

Good spacious and well located accommodation (near the wintering and not far from gueliz and jemaa el fna)! The recommendations at the start of the stay are great and helpful! Taxis all know the residence so no worries about getting dropped off! Guarded residence and elevator/pool! Thank you very much!!

Our stay was magnificent. Our hosts, including Abdou and Fatima, were extremely responsive, attentive to our every need, proactive in being helpful, and otherwise lovely people. The riad is a work of art, or masterpiece actually. It is impeccably clean. Don’t miss Abdou’s fabulous cooking. His dinner was delightful and our favorite meal. Many thanks!

We stayed at the place for a week. Everything was ready when we arrived, facilitated by the presence of Rachid and Hossine to give us the key. Ilham the owner is very nice & responsive. We didn't meet him but he was helpful and responded very quickly when we had any questions. The apartment is located in a quiet residence & overlooks the quiet street. Pool was accessible and maintained but we did not test it. Small toilet kits were available upon arrival at the Oranger du Maroc. Small touches that are very much appreciated!! Clean bed linen and soft bathroom towels. The apartment is functional. There is everything you need to cook for two. There are very good shops & restaurants nearby at reasonable prices. We didn't use the kitchen much & ate out to enjoy moments of exchange & sharing in the evening during Ramadan. Thank you Ilham.😊

The place was very nice and quiet. We didn't have good flight times but instead flexible check-in and check-out. Abdellatif was always available and helped us with this. The pool was great for our kids and we loved the Moroccan charm in the villa. Cats come by every now and then, which my kids loved very much. We had two normal duvets, the rest are these typical thick fluffy Moroccan blankets. That could be a bit problematic if someone has asthma. But I think if we had mentioned it, we would have been offered other blankets. Taxi drivers often had trouble finding the place. I don't know what it was about. But Abdellatif was also very helpful. There are a few small things that could be done, but we were very satisfied and would book it again.

On site we were greeted by Samad, who was during our stay, a very responsive, attentive and attentive host. It made us feel at home! Tourya's cuisine, our chef, was absolutely delicious, we loved the breakfasts and dinners she prepared for us! Not to mention her mint tea that was unanimous! The riad is tastefully decorated and has all the comforts you need. The location in the medina is ideal for exploring the city. A hidden gem in the Marrakesh medina! We stayed with girls in this beautiful Riad. We received a wonderful welcome from the staff. They were incredibly kind while being very discreet. The place is gorgeous! The bed linens smelled good, everything was clean and well organized. The terrace at the top is a peaceful haven that has stunning views. We were won over by this place!
