It was a quick stay where we needed the Internet and a place to rest after a long day. The place met our needs and the hosts were very friendly. One point to take into consideration is that if it can get hot during the day, it is easily fixed by leaving the doors open or windows but these do not have a screen so some insects can enter. One point in favor is that it is close walking distance from Don Cayito, which is a very good cafeteria.

I cannot recommend this place highly enough! This is by far the most well-built and thoughtfully designed accommodation I have stayed in throughout Central America. Every detail speaks to quality—from the solid construction to the immaculate furniture and linens, which feel like new. Nelly is a truly exceptional host—warm, kind, and always willing to help. She not only ensures a comfortable stay but also goes above and beyond, offering assistance in connecting with local resources and even sharing avocados from her farm. The setting is breathtaking, with a pristine mountain stream flowing just behind the cottage. It’s the perfect place to unwind, surrounded by nature’s beauty. The small general stores for basic necessities are just a short walk away, making it convenient yet still wonderfully secluded. The wifi is strong and stable for remote workers. Whether you’re looking for a peaceful retreat to restore yourself or a quiet, inspiring place to work, this is absolute paradise.
