Our cosy hut consists of a comfortable bedroom with an enchanted view of Assaroe Lake: enjoy it on our 3 deckings! The cabin is very close to our house but secluded from it, buried in the woods. The room provides a tranquill escape from frantic life:- there’s no television or WiFi, just a radio. Kitchen facilities are basic but functional. We provide the basis for a continental breakfast. Beaches and hiking trails are very close by. WE ACCEPT PETS ONLY AFTER CONSULTATION WITH THEIR OWNER.

The first thing that any visitors say is ‘that’s someview’, hence we named it SomeView. Up to four guests plus a baby can relax in a beautiful scenic area. Standing 600 feet above sea level with approximately 20 Donegal mountains in view. We are set in a quiet country road with easy 10 minute access to City of Derry airport and the city centre. It’s also only a short distance to some of Walkni’s recommended short walks - Ness Park, Beechill Woodland, Muff Glen to name a few.

“Hill Top Suite”. Donegal Town, Panoramic Views

The historic Donegal Town Centre is only a 3 minute drive or 15 minute walk. We have Lidl Supermarket and Supermacs and Papa Johns Pizza less than a 1 minute drive or 3 minute walk. The Town has everything that visitors require i.e. Restaurants, Entertainment, walks & tours of surrounding areas. A good base to explore the Wild Atlantic Way. The check in time is between 4pm and 7pm. Check out time is 11am. We need to know an estimated time of arrival please.

We had a great stay at Joanne's place. She has a beautiful home and our room was large, with a very comfortable bed. Her house was spotless and breakfast was a very welcome extra. Joanne was extremely helpful and friendly. I have no hesitation in recommending her place.

Easy check in and place was neat,clean and comfortable. Use of the kitchen was a bonus.. c Close to town - within walking distance. Would recommend.

Had a lovely weekend stay, place was very peaceful and about a 20 min walk into Buncrana along a seaside path. Fantastic views of beach and sea. Karen, Gerry and their daughter Sylvia were very helpful and welcoming, with a wee hamper of foodstuff provided which was a lovely touch.

Michael and Anne were fantastic hosts. After a long day on our bikes, we were made very welcome and more than sufficiently looked after. Spacious bedroom and spotlessly clean bathroom. Free selection of breakfast cereals for the morning. Wonderful people in a wonderful family home. Thank you. Would definitely book here again should I be staying in the area.

We had the most enjoyable stay at Sean and Michelle’s. The property was stunning (inside and out) and the hosts were lovely. We slept comfortably and enjoyed all their welcoming details. On our way out, our rental car had a tire pressure issue and Sean was so kind to fill our tire with air. That was above and beyond! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would love to return 🥰 Thanks again Sean and Michelle 🩷
