I had an absolutely wonderful time at this modern,clean and lovely accommodation! The host was exceptionally attentive and went above and beyond to make my stay perfect. His warm hospitality made me feel welcome from the very first moment. I was especially impressed by the warm and family-like atmosphere. His children are simply delightful – friendly, polite, and incredibly charming. It was a joy to spend time with them. The room was clean, cozy, and equipped with everything I needed. The home was spotlessly clean, very spacious, and incredibly comfortable. It had everything needed, especially in the fully equipped kitchen, which made cooking so easy and convenient. The overall setup of the house was thoughtful and cozy, making it feel like a true home away from home. On top of that, the scenery from the house was absolutely beautiful—peaceful, relaxing, and the perfect backdrop for a getaway. We loved staying so close to nature! We spend almost two weeks here. It’s situated right on the edge of the Udawatta sanctuary, so monkeys visited us quite a few times which was nice to see! It’s not far from the city but when we went food shopping we took the tuktuk back and it cost us around 200 LKR. So if you want something private, calm but also walkable to the centre, this is it. Just mind that it’s close to the forrest and not much light goes in through the trees. But on the other hand the temperature in the apartment was nice due to the location. There’s no need for AC but there’s a fan if you need it. The kitchen has some amenities like rice cooker and smoothie maker. But it could maybe use a bit more cutlery like a new wooden spoon, but things like pan and pots were really good. The WiFi was perfect, no problem with that.

We had a wonderful stay at Pubudu 's place . Our caretaker - Bala made every effort to provide us a comfortable and relaxing stay. He is well aware about his boundaries and knows when we need our privacy and his assistance. The accommodation is located in a hilltop with a great view . If you wish to stay there, take everything with you since the nearest township is located at the downhills.

Jayathissa's place was big and spacious ands we felt comfortable and at home. The facilities were great and the air-conditioning and fans were especially welcome. It is a short tuktuk ride to the town and restaurants and you can also walk asking the canal and even swim there. Jayathissa was very friendly and helpful and even shared his breakfast with us. His coconut crafts are also very beautiful and we bought some as souvenirs.

It was simply magical. The welcome, the care, the food. Aroshi made us feel at home since we stepped into the villa. Leaving that place has not been easy. Definitely the best place I have ever been!

The place was incresible and the views ever better. I could walk to Lions Rock and to the restaurants around. And the host was very nice and very helpful. An amazing experience!
