We felt very lucky to be able to stay in Catherine's beautiful gite. We were made so welcome from the minute we arrived. The gite is calm, clean and beautifully decorated. We especially enjoyed sitting in the garden listening to the birds and the silence. The pool was a welcome retreat during the hottest part of the day. The many trees create areas of shade whilst the flowers add colour in the many different pockets of interest. We would thoroughly recommend Catherine's gite and would love to return ourselves one day.

We only stayed 2 nights but Karine was super welcoming and responsive when needed. The accommodation is clean, spacious and located in a quiet location perfect for enjoying the terrace. The added bonus for us was the private parking. We recommend it ++.

We enjoyed a relaxing week here. A quiet rural location surrounded by vineyards but only just beyond the edge of town so a quick drive (or a long walk) gets you into the centre. The flat on the ground floor was spacious, comfortable and well equipped and we were made to feel very welcome. Lots of places to visit as well as the famous chateaux. I particularly recommend the visit to Ackerman winery, not just for the famous sparkling wine but for a stunning art installation in the cave created with fluorescent thread and ultra violet light. Sarah’s apartment was the perfect quick little stopover whilst we’re on our roadtrip. The apartment is very tastefully furnished, uber well equipped and in a gorgeous walkable location. The apartment was very clean and the bed was also comfortable! Water pressure in the shower was great too. I wouldn’t recommend bringing a large suitcase as the building is very old and has narrow doors and stairs (the apartment is on the 2nd floor). Sarah was also a very friendly host; offering recommendations of restaurants and boulangeries that were great. All in all, a great value stop in a gorgeous little town, I couldn’t recommend it more! We had a perfect stay at Véronique and Jean-Jacques's. The place is ideal: quiet, impeccably maintained, with a beautiful garden and a magnificent view. A true haven of peace. Communication with Véronique is very easy, she is available, accommodating and attentive. When we arrived, we had the pleasure of receiving fresh eggs, and every day, Véronique offered us filtered water. A simple but very much appreciated gesture! The hosts are welcoming, very caring and discreet. The apartment is perfectly located to explore the area, and the jacuzzi is the cherry on top: a real moment of relaxation after a day of sightseeing!

The accommodation is as described and pleasant. Close to the center and tram, it's very convenient to get around. Spacious, bright and not too noisy despite the fact that it is located along an avenue. The value for money is unbeatable.

I spent one month in the apartment, working remotely as a change from Ireland which was still very much in COVID lockdown. I could not have been luckier with the apartment, the beautiful building and garden, the town of Saumur and with Christiane as my landlady. I had a very, very special time there- the apartment and building is timeless, beautiful, safe and tranquil. It’s location is perfect in the old town of Saumur. Christiane was the most wonderful, welcoming person who is spent some quality time with and it was an honour to get to know her. It was a fantastic place to call home when I was there. And I have taken back some really wonderful memories. I miss it already. Thank you Christiane!

Excellent stay at François's, accommodation both impeccably clean and functional. Quiet neighborhood, easy and secure parking with private parking space. Really nothing to repeat. We had a great time at Jérémie's. The apartment is located very close to the Jardin des Plantes so not far from the city center. It's a quiet area - no noise during the nights, even with windows open. Very comfortable, and highly recommended!
