The Nook is a converted garage unit which is detached from our house with private entrance, outdoor seating area and key safe for entry. Accommodation comprises of living room/kitchenette, bedroom and wet room. Selection of breakfast cereals, tea, coffee, sugar and milk are provided to make your stay as comfortable as possible. Lovely 1 bed Annex with large open-plan kitchen

Skipton House Annex has plenty of character, rural charm and is ideally located near the A1 in-between North York Moors and Dales. Set over two levels, the large open plan kitchen/dining room, shower/loo and entrance hallway are on the ground floor with a living/TV room and bedroom up the spiral staircase on the first floor. There are French doors that open up to access the courtyard. The loo/shower is located on the ground floor and courtyard is shared with main house.

If it was 4 in a bed, Linda’s bolt-hole would score top marks (except breakfast as it’s Airbnb). Linda was friendly and welcoming, nothing was too much trouble. Lovely village & handy for Thirsk races which is why we picked it. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this place.

Linda was an exceptional host. I don’t want to get guests’ hopes up but the cake she left for my husband’s birthday was such a lovely surprise. So very friendly and helpful - thank you.

We had a lovely stay at Sunnyside - it is a beautiful house with beautiful decor. The rooms are all a decent size and the open plan living room and kitchen area was great for a group of us. The courtyard outside was also lovely with a table and chairs to sit outside. Overall we had a great stay and would definitely stay again!
