Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Dinwiddie County

House was very spacious. Ron was very responsive and very accommodating. Nice place to stay for multiple families. Getting our car in and out was difficult only due to others parked across the very small street.

We rented this house to attend my son’s graduation and the photos do it no justice. Beautiful house, spacious and very clean. Malik the host was great and accommodating, he secured a lost package until we arrived days before we were scheduled to arrive. If i am ever in the area I will make sure to check if it is available.

Ashley was amazing! When I told some issues she came and looked into it and fixed it ASAP. (Issue was very minor). The layout was great, sofas comfortable enough that you could sleep on them! Backyard was great for my two large dogs! Ashley was great! This is a perfect place for temporary housing or for like me for in between houses where I sold and had to wait a couple weeks until I could get into my new place!

Absolutely incredible if you love open spaces and peace and quiet. Beautiful, spotlessly clean space and the farm animals were fun to sit and watch from the porch in the morning!

The house was as described and pictured. We were able to cook dinner and play games while we had down time from the graduation. Each room was themed and comfortable. We had space to spread out. The neighborhood was quiet and quaint for strolls. Overall, a great experience. Thanks for having us.

Beautiful historical home. Lots larger than the photos. It’s very close to downtown on a street that’s up and coming. Very comfortable beds and couches.

Tara was an amazing host, super helpful and respectful made it so easy to check in, would definitely stay here again, made us feel right at home.

Great place to stay for short to medium length periods of time. Lower price than other options and there’s lots of great restaurants to go to in the area. The surrounding area was not the best area, but there’s nice places further down town to go to.

We had a great stay at Joe’s place! The home was exactly as described — clean, comfortable, and well-equipped with everything we needed. The neighborhood was quiet and safe, with shops, restaurants, and public transportation nearby. Joe was an excellent host — responsive, friendly, and always ready to help if we had any questions. It’s clear he really cares about making his guests feel welcome. We’d happily stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area!

Great location. Walking distance to many restaurants. Studio was clean and had all amenities needed to be comfortable. Host is super responsive and very friendly. Would definitely recommend!!!

only place. I’ll stay from now on when I’m in the Richmond VA area

I had a wonderful stay! I had to go down to VA last minute in a holiday weekend due to a death in the family unfortunately. My family is in Mechanicsville and the nearby hotels were either booked or more than I had wanted to pay. I checked other hotels in Richmond area but the reviews were so mixed. My biggest concern when staying anywhere is a clean bathroom and bed. I’m so glad I decided to check Airbnb because I found this place. It was a drive away from the family but it was well worth it. The town was so friendly and beautiful. The yard the so peaceful to sit and read and Meow Meow even came to visit us. Went to the Dixie for lunch one day which was great. The bakery was good, just wish they had more options. We wanted to bring something back to the family but they didn’t have like a platter of Italian cookies. Might be a NY thing I’m used to tho so I won’t hold it against them lmao. Overall, would def book again. Thanks for the great stay Ethan!

I had a wonderful stay at James’ place! I arrived late in the snow, and with all the nearby restaurants closed, his wife kindly cooked a meal for me, which was incredibly thoughtful and much appreciated. James was very responsive and made sure I had everything I needed throughout my stay. The hospitality was exceptional, and I would highly recommend staying here. Thank you both for making my trip so comfortable!

Very convenient to the Richmond Convention Center. A good home base for being out and about. The parking add on was a plus. The chat messages were good. You can tell they are automated, but they provided relevant info when needed.

Reagan's place is a great centrally located base of operations if you're visiting downtown Richmond. It's clean quiet and secure. Access to the building and parking are a little tricky but she's provided very detailed instructions that make it easy. Although our stay was brief, Reagan was a lovely host, a pleasure to meet, and very responsive. Highly recommended for RVA visits!

Great place to stay because you're just a few short blocks away from Cary Street, where there are lots of great stores and restaurants. We walked over several times to get coffee and go to a restaurant, and then shopping the next morning. The apartment is not "new" -- it's in one of the many old houses that line the street. But it was fun and had some character. The bed might be a little soft for some people, but I was comfortable.

We had another nice stay at Mark’s place while attending our daughter’s graduation at VCU.

Gabrielle's apartment was so thoughtfully designed. She gives warmth to minimalism, creating a serene environment in the middle of a bustling neighborhood. Bonus prize — she's an artist and the apartment is full of her intriguing work!

I had a great long weekend visit being back in Richmond for a reunion. I arrived shortly after a city water crisis ended and she immediately reached out letting me know it had ended and what the city recommended before using the water in the apartment

Comfortable place in a great location. Rooftop deck has great views of the neighborhood and sunset. Place was comfortable and clean, with character, fitting for an old city building, like old tile fireplaces and gas lamps, heart pine floors. Loved it!
