I absolutely loved my stay here! The house was incredibly comfortable and spacious, with a fully equipped kitchen that made it easy to cook at home. The large garden was a real bonus—perfect for relaxing and enjoying the peaceful surroundings. The neighborhood was super quiet, yet just a 2-minute walk to grocery stores and restaurants—truly an unbeatable location. The home had so much character and charm, and as a Miamian, it made me feel completely at home. Highly recommend to anyone looking for comfort, convenience, and a bit of local flavor!

On a five day Civil War trip to visit sites associated with the last 9 months of the war. Just very special to stay in the Wallace House because of its association with Lincoln and Grant. You can almost feel the history. Very convenient to the Petersburg National Battlefield from City Point to Five Forks. Very pleasant drive to Appomattox. The town of Petersburg and the house itself, because of continuing renovation, need a little TLC, but all-in-all, a very memorable stay. We had a little difficulty entering the house as we missed the entry pad and tried to gain entrance by the lock box on the rear door - totally our fault!!

Debbie allowed us to film a documentary interview in her space and was incredibly accommodating and communicative throughout the process. She even met up with us to show us an alternative space for filming. On top of that, her place was super cozy! Would definitely rent from her again.

Thank you so much to Rachel and Tommy who were such wonderful hosts. They made us feel like family and were so accommodating with anything we needed. For instance, I asked Rachel for pictures of her pets and she sent them to me after we had checked out. We would definitely stay her again if we need to in the future.

The home is very historic and the rooms are beautifully decorated to match to match the era of the home. Theresa is very easy to communicate with, as we had some schedule changes that went very smoothly. Rooms are upstairs, quiet, and clean. Common areas downstairs are best for dog lovers! 😀

Jennifer and her husband were very welcoming and helpful. I forgot a brick for my phone charger and they were kind enough to let me use of one of theirs. It's a convenient location if you are going to Lake Phoenix, especially if you have to be there early for a Scuba Diving class like I did.

This is the third time we've stayed in Kim's home so it feels like home away from home. The home is well-appointed and spacious but cozy. The location is very convenient for us and there are a number of restaurants within walking distance. Kim is a very gracious and responsive host. We plan on staying again when we travel to the Petersburg area.

Jenn and Bill were wonderful and made me feel like family. The home has a cozy vibe in the country. Next time I come down, I'll be staying with them again.

Carlissa’s place was the perfect overnight stay for us on our road trip. The place is very clean with all of the required accommodations. I also made a mistake with the initial check in dates, and Carlissa adjusted our booking within minutes after hearing my inquiry. Super helpful! Highly recommended!

We stayed for a volleyball tournament. We were able to get there by walking in under 10 minutes. Plenty of restaurants and grocery stores. The canal walk is close and there is a playground across the street.

I stayed at Xianfeng's place for one night, and it was exactly as advertised. His instructions were super clear. The check in and entry were super easy. I really appreciated having the parking space. I enjoyed my stay and would recommend.

It all comes down the moment you walk through the door! We parked in the back of the house off the alley, a bit tricky to figure out at first, entered the door code and entered a fabulous space. The kitchen was bright, cheerful and clean. The air conditioning was cranked on, thankfully as it was a hot humid day. The big question was which of the 2 bedrooms? We chose the bedroom near the living space, figuring the front bedroom on Main Street could be noisy…though the neighborhood ended up being quiet. Alyssa and Donnie seemed to think of all our potential needs. The wi-fi was easy to connect to our devices, the kitchen was well organized, the bathroom was stocked with soaps, plenty of towels (wash, hand, bath and makeup) even the pantry had a few staples. Overall, I would rate the experience as EXCELLENT, from the first moment to the last. We will definitely stay here again on the next visit to Richmond.

This Airbnb was beautiful, comfortable, and perfect for our stay in Richmond! I had an event at the convention center, and the location couldn’t have been more convenient—it was just a short drive away. Street parking was easily accessible at all times, which made things so much easier. I traveled with three kids under 6, and they loved the space. We didn’t want to leave! It was clean, welcoming, and had everything we needed. While we didn’t end up using it, the backyard was a nice bonus to have. The host was friendly, easy to reach, and always responded quickly. I would 100% recommend this place and would definitely book again when returning to Richmond!

Wendy’s place was just as described. It was very cozy and in a beautiful, walkable neighborhood. She made us feel right at home with bread, croissants, fruit and a stocked fridge. She left us a lovely letter with instructions and information. She was very accommodating and let us check out late since our train didn’t leave until 5PM. I would definitely recommend staying here!

Great stay. Very clean inside and in a good location, walkable to many places. Would stay again!
