Vacation rentals with outdoor seating in Diani

Anisa is a responsible and friendly host, and the cottage is a lot bigger than the pictures show. there's also a lot of thought put into the space, that is lacking in other Airbnbs in the area. All the added small touches make the space feel like your own home, and the unit is quietly tucked away from the main road. The only thing that may not be obvious from the listing, is that the cottage is located along the main road, and is not a beach front property as the pin on AirBnB suggests. Regardless, wished I could have stayed here longer

The pictures of the house don’t do it justice , the house is a work of art, extremely comfortable and well designed. We enjoyed everything about this place and the staff are lovely and accommodating. We would stay here again and again.

Great location and beautifully furnished house with all amenities. Extremely clean, friendly and well trained staff. Christopher the chef was our favourite because of his accommodating nature and scrumptious food, especially the seafood! We would happily come back 😃

We had a gorgeous week in Diani at Gloria's place - the house was comfortable and thoughtfully decorated, we ate our meals on the terrace and were often greeted by the monkeys, Chef Rosie's meals were delicious, Gloria was exceptionally responsive and helpful and we had the swimming pool to ourselves for the entire stay. My only note would be that whilst this property is an easy walk to the public beach - Diani's public beach itself has no shade so it was difficult for us to enjoy the sea with small children (unless you pay for hotel entrance).

Perfect vacation home for 6 people. Bedrooms had comfortable beds and great AC! Lots of space to spread out. Nice being in the resort for the service options. Great location near the beach! Patience was very responsive if we needed anything.

Perfect place to stay on a budget! Location was very easy to find. Restaurants, beach and amenities are very close by. Cissie was a great host and very responsive, helpful with recommendations as well.Definitely got value for my money. Highly recommend.

My family of 4 had a wonderful stay at Galu Salama. Anni’s property is beautiful - very peaceful and quiet, away from the touristy areas of Diani. We spent hours in the immaculately clean pool. We slept well in the rooms that were spotless and cool thanks to the air conditioning. The kitchen was spacious and well stocked with cooking supplies. The housekeeper, Nancy, welcomed us with fresh fruits and made us feel right at home. The house manager, Renson, took care of all our needs - from coordinating tuktuks for transport to sourcing and serving us fresh coconuts! Our kids enjoyed asking Renson all about coconuts and the mini lesson they got about the types of coconuts and its use in local cuisine. Thank you Anni for hosting us - we hope to visit again in the future if we are in Diani again!

Good location (10min walk to the beach) and very peaceful. Kiko (the host) is very friendly and responds quickly to all queries. We had a plate of pasta and fruits waiting for us, which made our first night there super easy. Eric (chef) and the rest of the staff were also very attentive and provided a great service. And if you prefer to cook, the kitchen is well equipped. I'd recommend!

Great place to stay in Diani. 10 mins walk to the beach, apartment is in the building with security. No strangers are coming inside the property. Apartment is very nice, a lot of space and everything is equipped. Housekeeping is available. Air conditioning in every room. Although there might be a power shortage sometimes, however I think this was a general issue of the town. Pool is great, a little bit warm :D Communication with owner is amazing, very helpful. We receive a guide with instructions and useful information. All requests were completed in a very fast way and host is very polite and nice. Do not recommend the restaurant upstairs, but there are plenty of options in the town. Must say that the driveway to the building is harsh, road is not built there. Car was okay, but a little bit hard in tuktuk. I would recommend the apartment, very cozy, big and close to the Bach. Good standard for the price.

We spent a week in this apartment, and had a great time. The apartment and resort are very nice, and we were taken very well cared for by Emily the housekeeper, and Iddi the chef she recommended!

The host was very kind and helpful. It was my first visit to Diani, so it took a little adjusting to how our journey had been leading up to this part. Our tuk tuk driver was excellent and we felt comfortable getting around once we understood our surroundings. The staff was available when we needed help.

Those pictures definitely did not do the place justice, I thought I would be getting a small studio and when I walked in a was shook, so spacious, well organised, great natural lighting, the AC and ceiling fan options were great... She also hooked me up with the most helpful cab driver, Alex. He's a gem. I totally enjoyed my short business trip, can't wait to show my family that space when we go to Diani next!!!

This apartment is one i would describe as a step into the future I want to live. From the vast living room to the private patios attached to every bedroom, this place combines urban living and a remote hippie commune. We enjoyed the night swims in the pool, the very graceful housekeeper and proximity to everything you need to do in Diani. 13/10

From the moment we stepped into Pamela’s beachside studio, we felt instantly at home. The space is bright, airy, and thoughtfully designed—spacious enough to relax in comfort, yet cozy enough to feel like your own retreat. The location is ideal: just a few minutes’ walk to Diani Beach and close to Carrefour for essentials and snack runs. One of my favorite parts was her impressive book collection—especially the Italian titles and curated cookbooks. It felt like staying with someone who loves good food, great stories, and the charm of travel. Her love for Italy adds soul to the space. Pamela is a warm, attentive host who clearly cares about her guests. Her thoughtful touches made our stay feel special. I also loved the sound system (a must after Wi-Fi—which was great!) and the added bonus of Netflix for winding down. If you’re visiting Diani and want comfort, charm, and a hint of Italian flair—this is the place. Thank you, Pamela! I hope to return soon.

Hiii, me and my partner had a good time at omondis apartment!! The view is nice and the hose totally fine especially for the price. The pool got cleaned but it was still quite empty and abandoned. Maybe also bc we were out of season there and anyway it was nice quiet then. The house was clean but still in the evening some cockroaches showed up. So maybe for people who really can’t stand them it’s not the best place. For us it was totally fine bc it was not a lot and from our experience it’s quite hard to find places where there is not one… the communication with omondi was friendly and helpful! Thank you!:)

A private secured and peaceful location. Walking distance to the Carrefour supermarket and Java House Cafe. Restaurants are accessible via taxi.

Such a beautiful place surrounded by green plants and a gated community with a private access to the beach. The complimentary breakfast was a thoughtful detail. It's also centrally located to lots of things including Diani airport (10-15minutes), except if flying from/to Mombasa (moi) airport it's around 1.15hrs. The host was kind enough to let us checkout a little late because of our flight being delayed. A special thanks to Fred who was very lovely and helpful with all our requests. I HIGHLY recommend this place, very serene!

Very nice apartment near to the sea and with a clean swimming pools. Big TV available including Netflix. Huge master bedroom well-appointed. Unforgettable sunrise over the sea. The main point is that Harry is available to support and advice you anytime and on all the topic. Thank you, I hope I will come back soon.

The apartment is completely as described in the listing. The staff very friendly and helpful. The pool and the loungers are great (unfortunately there was no explanation as to which loungers belong to the apartment). The neighbors (almost all foreign permanent tenants) attach great importance to rules and peace. Therefore, not highly recommended for traveling with children. Otherwise great place and great host. Thank you
